For Pain "Mylan brand lidocaine patches are terrible, it doesn't stick to skin, making it useless. I recently received these due to Qualitest no longer making them (Qualitest lidocaine was very effective), but I threw these Mylan ones out after two attempts of keeping them on. Don't waste money. Activis brand is the opposite, being extra sticky/gummy, leaving residue and a terrible allergic reaction. Come on, drug companies, you can do better! Maybe someone can replicate Qualitest patches."

For Neuropathic Pain "I have used these patches with great success for years, but yesterday I was given the new Mylan brand, and they are awful. They will not stick, and I am allergic to surgical tape, so I can't keep them on. They just plain will not stick except to themselves. I am stuck with 90 patches that I most likely will not be able to use, and I am going to be in pain all month until I can get my next RX. You can bet I will ask for my old brand next time."

Lidocaine topical for Postherpetic Neuralgia "I was prescribed Lidoderm patches by an ER doctor for a pulled muscle. I had a severe allergic reaction. I have painful blisters, numbness, red, irritated skin. I can barely move the left side of my body. I’m in constant pain from the patches, it’s worse than the pulled muscle pain. I’ve never been in such pain in my life. This drug is very, very dangerous."
