For Underactive Thyroid "I’ve been on Tirosint for 3 months now. The best I’ve felt in YEARS! I previously posted in October and I can only say if the other various thyroid medications are making you feel awful, YOU HAVE TO TRY TIROSINT! My energy level is fabulous, losing weight, no hair loss, coherent, etc, and overall LIVING LIFE to the FULLEST."

For Underactive Thyroid "I was on Nature Throid for 13 years with no problems until they stopped manufacturing it. I tried Armour and experienced anxiety! I switched to Levothyroxine and have been in the dumps, suffering from upper back and neck pain ever since. Recently, I switched to Tirosint, my hair immediately started falling out, and I was having severe hot flashes. I stopped taking it, and both issues resolved, so now I just take Levo every other day. I'm not sure why these manufacturers cannot figure it out when there are so many people suffering. Please, someone manufacture Nature Throid again. I am at a loss."

For Hypothyroidism, After Thyroid Removal "I went on Tirosint when Levoxyl stopped working after they changed the formulary. It worked great until March or so of this year. Now my hair is falling out, I’ve gained 8 lbs., my temp is 96, I’m exhausted, etc. Because of the pandemic, I didn’t figure it out right away. Obviously hypothyroidism and I’m so bummed. Awaiting test results and a consult with my doctor. What did they do to Tirosint? Synthroid or Levoxyl don’t work for me. What do I do next? What a nightmare."

For Underactive Thyroid "Personally, I really like Tirosint better than any other thyroid medication I've taken. I was on Armour for 3 months and started to lose my hair, and my nails got very thin. Then, I switched to Synthroid hoping that my hair would stop falling out, but it only got worse. After a month on Synthroid, I lost at least half my hair. So I talked to my doctor, and we switched me to Tirosint, and after 3 weeks of using it, my hair has barely fallen out! I personally have had no harmful side effects with Tirosint, and I am glad I switched. Yes, it may be a little pricey a month, but it's totally worth not having my hair fall out!"

For Underactive Thyroid "I have been on several thyroid medications for over 8 years. I was always tired, had fatigue, experienced hair loss, and extreme weight gain. I started Tirosint, and instantly I started feeling better."

For Underactive Thyroid "I have Graves' disease and took RAI (radioactive iodine (I-131)) to treat the disease, which means now I have to top up my thyroid levels. I've previously taken Levoxyl, Synthroid, and lastly Armour. I always felt miserable with Levoxyl and Synthroid, which is why for the last three years I was taking Armour. Within the last year of taking Armour, I've had terrible inflammation, joint pain, anxiety, insomnia, hair loss, dry skin, weight gain, and the list goes on. It was coincidental that I forgot to take an Armour pill and realized how in one day all my symptoms went away. The next day I took my Armour and they all returned. It was so bad that I couldn't even bend my knees. I was miserable! I've been reading about Tirosint for the last few months, and my endo was more than accommodating to let me try it. WOW! What a difference! I'm not as hungry, losing weight, no anxiety, sleeping through the night, and overall just feeling great, as I've never had thyroid issues. However, I did have some heart palpitations last night. I'm going to get my lab work done today, as I feel the dosage may be too high."

For Hashimoto's disease "After nature thyroid and Armour seemed to not be working, I was put on Tirosint by my endo. I felt great the first week or so, but since then I’ve had heart palpitations, fast heart rate, swollen legs and ankles, hair falling out, and in the short 2 months I’ve been on it, I put on 13 lbs. While all these symptoms were going on, my TSH was 0.20, which meant I was very hyperthyroid."

For Underactive Thyroid "I have been on one form of hypothyroid meds for the last 20 years. I have used Tirosint for a year and a half. The only thing that I can say for it is the doctor loves it. I hate it. I was hoping it would help with my fatigue, swelling, and forgetfulness. The only thing that has changed for me is my cheeks are redder, I feel bloated all the time, and I am losing my hair. I'm still tired and still think I'm losing my mind. Logical worked better than all of them, including the Armui."

For Underactive Thyroid "I was on Armour Compound 90 mg for the last 2 years but started on the new Armour formula and had trouble with too much T3, which led to hyperthyroidism. My endocrinologist changed me to Tirosint, a gel cap form that is easy on the system. They are individually packaged, I don't know why. After a few weeks, I had a flare of hives, itching, and some hair loss, but now I seem to be doing great! I will be excited to test my blood work to see the levels in a few weeks. I am hoping it will help with my fertility."

For Hashimoto's disease "First of all, there are coupons for this, and I pick it up from Walmart for 28.30. Search coupons free for Tirosint. I first tried a company that is a scam company. They charged me 50 dollars, saying my medication was going to be 60 a month. Too late, I gave the scumbags my credit card and forget this bogus company out of Florida. The medication doesn't work for me, my hair falls out, I'm tired, and I'm gaining weight, so I'm going back to a compound which worked for me in the past. Good luck everyone with this. Uggh."

For Hypothyroidism, After Thyroid Removal "I was on name brand Synthroid from 2008 until 2019, my doctor switched me to Tirosint thinking that I would have less heart palpitations and better absorption. I was on 200 mcg of Synthroid, TSH was 0.01, I am now on 112 mcg of Tirosint with a TSH of 0.1. I gained a significant amount of weight, so my endo doctor added 5 mcg of T3, I have not lost any of the weight. Since starting Tirosint, my weight has increased from 116 lbs to 130-131. I exercise and move a lot and do watch what I eat, although I do allow sweets in moderation as I always have. I have also noticed an increase in hair loss, a lot of hair loss, and very dry hair, thankfully, I have thick hair, but the dryness is awful. Long story short, I don't believe Tirosint is the right medication for me as I have gained so much weight and lost a large amount of hair, even with the added T3, which didn't help to change the weight issues. I will be requesting to go back to name brand Synthroid with the added T3 to see if this helps."

For Hypothyroidism, After Thyroid Removal "Tirosint has changed my life. I have been sick and tired for more than a decade. I had both Hashimoto’s and Graves. Along with hyperparathyroidism that caused me to have constant kidney stones. All of this made life so miserable, I almost gave up. Eventually, I had a TT with parathyroidectomy. For 2 years, I fought with generic Levo and other thyroid replacement meds. I was so exhausted that I would fall asleep everywhere. My muscles ached like I had the flu, my breasts hurt like I was pregnant. I had migraines, constipation, my hair fell out, and I eventually filed for disability. I couldn’t take the correct dose because the meds made me feel worse. Then my PA suggested Tirosint. Within 2 weeks, I felt 15 years younger. The symptoms were all gone. I slept normally, could do things I hadn’t done in 15 years, and I got a job! I haven’t felt this good in so long that I want to tell everyone about Tirosint. If you feel even slightly icky on something else, try it! It is worth every penny!"

For Hashimoto's disease "Started this at the new year. My hair is falling out like crazy. It's been very distressing to see. It says it can cause hair loss, but in time will correct itself. I really hope it stops soon! My numbers look good (or at least that is what my doctor thinks)."

For Underactive Thyroid "I have had an underactive thyroid for 8 years. I could not handle Synthroid and was always going off. I like Tirosint, at first, I am only on a small dosage of 13, but my hair was falling out so badly that I started taking 2 pills during Corona because of no doctor. It stopped hair breakage, but if I take too much, I get headaches and have trouble sleeping. But now if I take 13 only, I get bad depression and my hair falls out again. Overall, I like the meds. I am diagnosed with Hashimoto's, and this is just my life-my own thyroid not being regulated. I have a bad headache today, so I can't take 2 tomorrow, so I guess I can prep for severe depression. Oy vey!"

For Underactive Thyroid "I was excited to switch from Synthroid to Tirosint because my doctor told me that it was gluten-free compared to other medications. I have been on it for a little over a month after switching from Synthroid, and I feel so terrible: anxiety, insomnia, fatigue, lots of hair loss, and weight is stuck, and my goiter in my neck is enlarged again. I called my doctor because I want to go back on my Synthroid. I did read that some people do better on it than others, and I believe it is just not for me."

For Hashimoto's disease "Tirosint gave me my life back! I was suffering for 17 years while on Synthroid. I had Hashimoto’s and hypothyroidism so bad that I had to have my thyroid removed. I feel it was due to Synthroid not working. All of the poison they put in Synthroid and all other thyroid medications should be illegal! My levels were NEVER stable. I felt like I was losing my mind, and doctors would not listen to me. My new doctor put me on Tirosint because my levels were so bad that I was on my way to myxedema coma. My body was not absorbing all of the Synthroid tablets. Tirosint immediately brought me back to normal, and ALL of my crappy symptoms, stomach pain and hair loss, etc., were gone! My levels have been steady for over two years now. I honestly thought my life was going to be miserable forever! Thanks to Tirosint, I am happy again and will forever be grateful! The only issue I have is the very high cost, and now my new insurance is not wanting to approve it."

For Hypothyroidism, After Thyroid Removal "I've had my thyroid removed for over ten years now. I've taken generic thyroid medicine, Synthroid, and now Tirosint. The dye in my Synthroid kept me from getting regulated. My body responded well to Tirosint for about 5 consecutive years. Due to insurance changes, I got off of it last year and got back on this year when my physician made a few calls to assist me. To my dismay, Tirosint is not working for me, even with me taking Cytomel to help me digest and absorb it. I'm tired, have thinning hair, levels are at 8.999, and I'm sweating with every movement. I'm quite disappointed that I can't get regulated."
