For Emergency Contraception "I took Next Choice One Dose 48 hours after unprotected sex. The sex was one day after my period ended. I was dizzy for several days after taking the pill. I had loss of appetite, but I think it was because I was worried about being pregnant. I had spotting 4 days after taking the pill, and the spotting was for 3 days. I had cramps the whole time I was spotting. I ended up getting my period a week before it was scheduled to start. My period normally lasts 6 or 7 days, but it was only 4 days after using this pill. It has now been a month since I used the pill, and I am not pregnant. I would not want to use emergency contraception again, I think I learned my lesson. If I had a friend in my situation, I would definitely recommend it."

For Emergency Contraception "I had sex Saturday after my period finished. The first condom broke, and he said he had come a little on it. So the next day, which was Sunday, I bought the contraceptive and took it. A few days later, on Thursday, I started spotting reddish brown, and the next day, which is today, Friday, I started bleeding heavily, like it was my period. Which is weird because I had just finished my period 6 days ago. By the way, I'm 18 going on 19. Is it normal?"

For Emergency Contraception "Had protected sex, but the condom broke. Within an hour or two, I went to Walgreens, got Next Choice, took the pill, felt sleepy about 30 minutes after taking it. A couple of headaches after, but no major side effects, had one day of spotting but nothing else. Started getting worried maybe it didn't work. On January 5, finally got my period. Next Choice works, just say calm and let the rest fall in place."

For Emergency Contraception "When my boyfriend and I had sex, the condom broke. It was also the day after my period ended. We bought this pill the next day and took it. The next day, I threw up and was really nauseous. About a week later, I had some spotting for about 5 days, and it kind of freaked me out because I thought I might be pregnant. But after a really long month and a few weeks, I finally got my period two days ago. This pill will work if you take it soon enough. Just be patient for your period. It might make it a few weeks late, but don't panic. That's what made this whole experience bad because I was panicking. Good luck!!"

For Emergency Contraception "I had to take the morning-after pill after I accidentally hooked up with my ex-boyfriend, and he forgot that I do not take birth control. I was already 5 days since I finished my last period, and I knew I was close to my fertile time of the month, so I decided to take the after pill the same morning on 4/10. I didn't have many side effects for the first 4 days after I took the pill, except some lower abdominal bloating. On the 5th day after taking the pill, there was some light spotting, and I decided to pack some tampons as I headed to Coachella. It has now been 7 days since my period started, and it is the heaviest period I have ever had. I've gone through 18 supers in 3 days. On day 14 and still bleeding. Be prepared for the bloodbath!"

For Emergency Contraception "I'm known to be a little paranoid, but everything turned out just fine. Took the pill about 7 hours after sexual intercourse, experienced side effects such as headaches, dizziness, and spotting a week later. After 8 days of experiencing the side effects, I finally got my period. Definitely recommend it!"

For Emergency Contraception "I had my period on January 16-20, and I had unprotected sex, but also used a condom when he was about to come. This happened on January 21st. That same day (January 21st), I took the Next Choice pill about an hour after sex. Then, a week later, on January 27th, I started spotting. It only lasted 4 days, it wasn't normal because it was much lighter than my normal period. Today is February 23rd, and my period is two days late. I'm just wondering if it's the pill that is making my period be late, or does the light period/spotting count as a real period? Or are there chances I might be pregnant? By the way, it was my first time using the brand Next Choice. If somebody has gone through the same, please let me know! Thanks."

For Emergency Contraception "Had unprotected sex the day after my period ended. Took Next Choice One Dose about 2.5 days later. Experienced a little nausea the next day and fatigue. Five days after I took Next Choice, I started heavy bleeding for a day and light spotting for a few more. I am currently 2 days late for my period, but I took a test, and it was negative. Fingers crossed that I'm just going to get my period late."

For Emergency Contraception "Thank the gods. We're not pregnant. I'm not sure if it's fair to credit this pill with saving us, because our incident happened approximately 2 days after ovulation. Nevertheless, we're saved. She experienced 2-3 days of brown discharge/spotting, which can be a sign of pregnancy (panic), but then, sure enough, her period came around on time. We're fine!"

For Emergency Contraception "Had unprotected sex on 28 of Dec. Took the pill within 24 hours, had spotting a couple of days after taking it. Fifteen days later, had spotting that came 2 days before my period was due, lasted 2 days. Waited a week before taking a pregnancy test, and it came out positive. This was my first time ever having sex, and I have been cramping badly and having sharp pains in my stomach."

For Emergency Contraception "I used Next Choice One Dose. I took the pill 10 hours after. It made me so sleepy, and I was a bit dizzy. On the fifth day, I started with a bad headache, and the next day I started spotting. Now, today, I am proud to say I'm not pregnant! I was so paranoid when my period wasn't here. Now it is, I couldn't be happier. Just relax, girl, it works."
