For Emergency Contraception "Took Next Choice 12 hours after intercourse, on day 13 of the cycle. I didn't fully understand how much ovulation increased your chances of conception, so I didn't know taking Next Choice was worthless at that time. Felt weird the first day and a little queasy, but really I had no side effects. I was terrified that I would be in agony and vomiting. Nothing, though. The next two weeks were horrible with anxiety. I started getting period cramps 7 (constant) days before the actual period and would get nauseous in the car as well. Neither of these two symptoms normally happen to me. It was probably because of stress, though. I got my period today, right when it was due (15 days after taking Next Choice). Ladies, don't have sex near ovulation if not on birth control."

For Emergency Contraception "I took this one hour after unprotected sex, and I am not pregnant! It was in the middle of my cycle, so I was very worried I would conceive, but the medicine thankfully worked. I have had a lot of bad side effects (nausea, fatigue, early period lasting 2 weeks), but I will take those over pregnancy. Overall, happy with it."

For Emergency Contraception "When my boyfriend and I had sex, the condom broke. It was also the day after my period ended. We bought this pill the next day and took it. The next day, I threw up and was really nauseous. About a week later, I had some spotting for about 5 days, and it kind of freaked me out because I thought I might be pregnant. But after a really long month and a few weeks, I finally got my period two days ago. This pill will work if you take it soon enough. Just be patient for your period. It might make it a few weeks late, but don't panic. That's what made this whole experience bad because I was panicking. Good luck!!"

For Emergency Contraception "I had the biggest pregnancy scare of my life. I had sex with someone I had just met about 2 weeks ago (the day before I was due to start my period, so I didn't think anything was wrong). They didn't ejaculate in me, but I had read enough forums on 'pre-cum pregnancies' to be afraid. I took Next Choice One Dose the following day (about 48 hours after sex), and no side effects until 3 days after taking it, which was when I had nausea, no vomiting. In these last two weeks, I was getting freaked out because my period didn't come. Woke up this morning, though, and it's here! Don't be afraid, don't Google anything. Just take this and remain calm. You'll be okay!"

For Emergency Contraception "I took Next Choice within 24 hours of unprotected sex. I have a 2-year-old already, and I am not financially able to have another child right now. After taking it, I felt fine, but 4 or 5 hours later, I was so sleepy. I dozed off all evening and went to bed early that night. It's been about 3 weeks since I've taken it, and I've been miserable! I've had stomach pains, nausea, and dizziness. 3 days afterwards, I was having chest pains. I started my period today, and although it's really light, I feel horrible. I'm nauseated and my stomach is cramping something awful. It also feels like I'm having vertigo. I recommend staying away from this pill, because even though it is extremely effective, I want to feel normal again."

For Emergency Contraception "Just took this a few weeks ago, and I was extremely concerned about the side effects I was possibly going to have. Of course, I researched on the internet, and you always read horror stories that'll scare you to death. Anyway, I felt like I had no other choice, so I took the pill very reluctantly. After about 7 hours, I did get nauseous, but never vomited. The nausea lasted for about a day. I was still able to eat a little, though. I had a headache, but nothing more than a casual headache that pops up from time to time. Other than that, I was all good. So ladies, if you were like me and scared of the side effects, it was bearable and worth it considering the other alternative. Overall, a pretty positive experience. Stay away from the horror stories."

For Emergency Contraception "Last week (night of May 10th/early May 11th) had some awesome sex, the condom broke though :( I took the pill around 6 in the evening of the 12th. No crazy side effects - the first day I did feel a little nauseated, but I really think that was from stressing out all day. I took it with food to keep my tummy happy, and for the time following, I really focused on staying positive, eating healthy, getting good rest, and trusting the medicine to do its job. Yesterday I got my period (it was two days late, but that's normal for me), it isn't any heavier than usual... I feel so relieved and thankful to live in a time where this is an option available to women! Hang in there and take good care of yourself, the pill works magic, and it'll all turn out okay"

For Emergency Contraception "The pill does a great job of preventing pregnancy just like Plan B will. I have taken this pill several times before, but this time, wow. This pill does a good job at mimicking pregnancy symptoms, but I am glad to say I am not pregnant. Had intercourse on January 6 but took the pill just in case of pre-ejaculate. My period was due January 22 but spotted earlier on January 15-18, brownish and then pink. I had real bad breast tenderness, dizziness, nausea, hot flashes, high blood pressure, headaches, backache, prominent veins on boobs and all over body, muscle spasms, cramps, but no period, slight fever. It is now March 13 and yet no period, the pill threw my cycle off real bad."

For Emergency Contraception "My husband and I were intimate with no protection, but we're not ready for a baby right now. I took Next Choice within 2 hours. I was very nervous about taking it since I had been on birth control pills for 12 years up until 2 months ago. I didn't want to mess myself up now that I was hormone-free, but I didn't want to be pregnant yet. I took an ovulation test after, and of course, it was positive, so I freaked. I didn't have ANY side effects at all during the first day. I'm due to get my period in 4 days, and I've been dizzy, nauseous, cramping, and flushed all week, so I'm convinced I'm pregnant. I just took a test, and it's negative. :) I'm praying I'll get my period in a few days, if not, then I'll take another test and submit an update on whether it actually worked or not. So far, so good!"

For Emergency Contraception "I promised myself I would write a review on Next Choice - even if it worked or not. And now I'm here to share my experience. So I had unprotected sex Wednesday night around 10 pm (he jizzed inside of me), and let me tell you how truly scared I was! So I decided to take the Plan B pill the next morning, however, there was no Plan B in stock, so I had to settle for Next Choice One Dose. Around 10 am, I swallowed BOTH .75 mg pills with some water and a McDonald's breakfast sandwich. So hours went by, and I didn't feel a single side effect. Surprisingly. However, the next day or two, I started to feel nauseous randomly and got frequent headaches. I never had any other problems. Today is Friday, and I just got my period. Just be patient, my loves!"

For Emergency Contraception "So I had unprotected sex about a week ago. The same day I was very worried and took Next Choice. I was very worried the whole time. The next day I woke up and I had all the symptoms that were on the package. I was nauseous, dizzy, and felt weak. About 3 days later I realized some bleeding. I was still unsure if I was prego or not. Today the bleeding was more severe. I did some more research and read that if there is bleeding then you are not prego. So I do recommend Next Choice even though the side effects can be a bother, but you don't end up prego, so that's good."

For Emergency Contraception "Had unprotected sex the day after my period ended. Took Next Choice One Dose about 2.5 days later. Experienced a little nausea the next day and fatigue. Five days after I took Next Choice, I started heavy bleeding for a day and light spotting for a few more. I am currently 2 days late for my period, but I took a test, and it was negative. Fingers crossed that I'm just going to get my period late."

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex with my bf last January 1, and he's pretty sure he didn't come inside me. However, to make sure, we decided to take this drug (Next Choice) after 20 hrs of intercourse. I experienced nausea, dizziness, and fatigue for more than a week, and on the 8th day, I bled, not my usual amount of menstruation. It's not heavy and only during the time, at night there is no bleeding, and it's dark red or blackish, same on the second day, no bleeding during nighttime also, and there's these clots. And on the 3rd day, it's brownish and mostly clots. I'm so confused because I still have 14 days left before my period. Moreover, I still feel tired until now, and there is no more blood, and sometimes I still feel nauseated. I'm hoping that I will have my period soon because these things that are happening to me are driving me crazy."

For Emergency Contraception "This pill gets the job done in preventing pregnancy, but the hormones made my body crazy. I took this January 6 with no symptoms until a week later. I had high blood pressure, really bad dizziness, nausea, hot flashes, a slight fever, and really bad breast tenderness. I spotted from Jan 15-18, at first, it was brown, then a small amount of blood, but not enough to fill up a pad. I thought this was my period, but soon after the spotting stopped, my breasts became so sore and big. I had prominent veins on my breasts and all over my body as if I was pregnant, backaches, insomnia, anxiety, depression, small cramps in my abdomen, and all over body cramps. My period was supposed to start Jan 22, but it never arrived. It is now March 13, and still no period."

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend a week ago from today. He did not cum in me. I took the pill right after I had sex. The night right after that, we had sex one more time, but he did not cum in me. I hear that you can get pregnant from precum if there are any leftover sperm cells in there. But you can flush any of that away when you pee. So he peed before that just in case. Four days later, I get an unusual period where the blood is less thick, though there are clots. I am having bad headaches every now and then, terrible cramps, dizziness, nausea, and tiredness. And today I had terrible back pain, which scares me a lot. The bleeding is only a little, and it is now really dark brown. I am really worried at this point. Am I okay?"

For Emergency Contraception "I promised myself I would write a review about this as all these reviews sometimes don't have the ending result, which scared me even more the more I read. I took the pills within 6 hours (the condom broke) on March 7. Don't take this until you're at home, as it made me feel nauseous and dizzy for about 24 hours. Take it and go to bed if you can. 4 days later, on the 11th of March, I had heavier spotting for 6 days! And then finally, on the 23rd, I got my period, which was 4 days early in my cycle, but it works! Don't stress too much about it if you take it soon enough!"
