Ixekizumab "I often refer to Taltz as my miracle drug. I'm 50 years old and have suffered from plaque psoriasis for over 30 years. I've been through many drugs including creams, foams, shampoos, light treatment, and Enbrel. Light therapy helped, but the pills I had to take with it made me terribly sick. Enbrel helped, but never anything life-changing. Taltz had me about 96% clear in three weeks, and within six weeks, 99% clear. I have had no side effects, and I use the SureClick, which is easy to use and requires minimal instructions. Taltz has changed the quality of my life, and for that, I am grateful."

Ixekizumab "Been on Taltz since Sept 2023. Had psoriasis for 42 years and it has been very serious from head to toe for several years. Within 6 days from the start of 2 initial injections, I was 99% clear. Unbelievable. I can't remember my life without psoriasis, I feel like a totally new person. No pain with injections, and I am a wuss with needles. Would totally recommend giving it a try if possible."

Ixekizumab "I've had plaque psoriasis since I was 9 years old. At age 30 (currently 35), I started Taltz. Over a 20-year period, doctors tried hundreds of medications, and I've never had a result like I had with Taltz. My entire body was cleared up in 6 weeks, and my joints were feeling better. Not one patch was left on my body. I felt like a normal person for the first time in my life. 5 years later, I'm still on Taltz injections. I'm very grateful every day to have found a medication that really helps."

Ixekizumab "I was on the second dose, and I had a very bad reaction. Mainly flu symptoms, body aches, body chills, fever, couldn't breathe well, headache. It lasted about 5 days, but even though I'm feeling better, I don't feel the same. Very fatigued! It didn't work for me."

"Taltz has been the best thing I've come across. New lease on life. Don't get me wrong. I've tried all sorts of stuff before, and none of it worked. It comes down to the specific IL that a person responds to. The one thing I can say is that if something isn't working for you, try something else until you find the right thing. Psoriasis is a prison. It's a front row seat in Hell. It's something we need to learn how to fight. And Taltz won it for me, but it might not be the correct drug for people reading this. Trust me. Keep trying different biologics until you find the right one. I'll be writing a blog soon, so look for me."

Ixekizumab "Almost 2 years on Taltz with great success. Had tried Enbrel, Humira, and Cimzia which worked well on my psoriasis arthritis (PsA) but not my skin. After a bout with strep and a huge full body flare-up. It was ugly and painful. I went to the dermatologist who recommended Taltz. Consulted my rheumatologist the next week, and we decided to try it. Rheum had never prescribed Taltz to her patients. In 3 months, my skin was clearer and my PsA was controlled. In 6 months, my skin had cleared up completely. I deal with some IBD and elevated liver numbers on Taltz, but if I drink more water, less alcohol, and exercise, I can keep my numbers in check. What a relief it’s been for me and my skin and my health. The injections can be very painful, but I’ve found injecting in my chubby stomach much less painful than my muscular thigh."

Ixekizumab "So happy to be clear after so many years and an awful childhood with this condition. I never thought it would happen, so grateful to the scientist who worked on this and for it being on the market. Just amazing! So happy to lead a normal life again."

Ixekizumab "I started taking Taltz in August 2022. It cleared my plaque psoriasis within weeks. I found it easy to deal with the pharmacy and delivery processes. The injection isn't painful or hard to administer. Unfortunately, I began having a lot of joint pain in October and it has continued. Also, I have developed a cough, hoarseness, and dry and itchy eyes. I am wondering if I can continue to stay on Taltz, as I am a teacher and I am losing my voice. I also don't know if I can continue with the joint pain I am having. Time will tell."

Ixekizumab "I began taking Taltz in April 2019. After 40 years dealing with Psoriasis… creams, ointments, light treatments, coal tar, and other biologics… I was completely clear after about 3 months and remain so today. Minimal side effects. Prescription Assistance is available, if you qualify."
