For Rosacea "I've been using Soolantra for a few years with great success in lowering the inflammation in my face, decreased redness, and blushing. The first few days I used the Ivermectin cream, I noticed the skin barrier on my flaking cheeks started to heal, and my skin appeared much less inflamed with continued use. I'm a BIG blusher but was starting to get a few tiny red bumps on the bridge of my nose, which went away in the first week of use. Soolantra has given me the freedom to live a normal life again."

For Rosacea "In Canada, this ivermectin cream is called Rosiver. Have been having large pustules and dry, flaky skin for over 5 years now, I’m 62. Finally found a dermatologist that suggested this cream...I’m now on week 4, has improved a lot, no itching. (I honestly thought I had bugs under my skin...maybe I’m not far off the mark there). Demodex mites are more prevalent in older adults, especially ones with fair and sensitive skin. I’ve probably had these mites in an overabundance for years...and then all hell started breaking loose. (I also had bad acne as a teenager). I’m hoping by the end of 3 months I’m totally clear of them. So far, this cream has worked better than Metrogel and all the other creams I’ve tried. Here’s hoping!!! The sad fact is how expensive this cream is...over 200 dollars here in Canada."

For Rosacea "I’ve been suffering from rosacea for over 2 years. I’ve tried cream and antibiotics prescribed by the dermatologist, nothing has worked until they prescribed this to me a month ago. Wow, wow, wow, amazing results. My skin has gone from looking very angry (very red, sore red bumps) to smooth, and almost all of the redness has gone in just a few weeks. I can wear makeup again without the foundation highlighting how bumpy my skin really was, it really has worked for me."

For Rosacea "My derm gave this to me on a whim, as a sample at my last visit. The nurse PA said her mom used it, and it worked great. How many times have I heard that? I have to say this stuff is FANTASTIC. Not only have I not had any more cysts form, it seems to have evened out my skin tone and texture. I was very surprised at the results. I have been using it for about 4 weeks, and I have three small pimples, PIMPLES, not cysts that are what 'normal people' would get. I have been very pleased, and I keep thinking it will fail, so far so good. I would definitely recommend Soolantra."

For Rosacea "Wow. This drug was miraculous for me! I saw results after just a couple of days, then at about 4 weeks my rosacea flared up badly. Two weeks later, it cleared up, and my skin is almost 100% perfect! I also use Finacea in the morning. I use Soolantra at night. Finacea alone made me smoother but still red. I haven't had clear skin like this in 15 years since I first got diagnosed. Excellent!!!!"

For Rosacea "After putting this cream on my face once a day just before bed for 3 months, my rosacea has completely gone. Within two weeks, the pustules had disappeared completely, leaving only redness. At week 4, the rosacea returned for one week and then disappeared again. At month 3, I stopped using the cream and have been completely rosacea-free for over a year. The redness is also almost completely gone now, and my complexion is only slightly pink with no rough skin or bumps. Before this, I tried 3 different oral antibiotics, finacea, Metrogel, Rosex, nicotine acid, as well as over-the-counter pharmacist redness reduction creams. None of these helped until I was given Soolantra."

For Rosacea "I’ve been using Soolantra for about three years. I used to get red cheeks and regular papules. Discovered when looking on the NHS site a new cream, known as Ivermectin. This cream has helped me so much. I rarely get papules now. If I do, it’s just the odd tiny one. Redness has practically gone. I’d had rosacea for seven years before this new cream. Nothing else worked. I use a tiny amount each night before bed. That’s all. Love it."

For Rosacea "I've been using it for two months, and the results have been amazing. My skin is clearer and brighter than it has been for years. I use Finacea every morning and Soolantra every night. After the first massive die-off and resulting flare-up after two weeks, it has been smooth sailing."

For Rosacea "I know that people read these reviews with doubt. I am also aware that what works for one won't always work for another. Based on my own experience, this cream has been amazing. I had, for months, persistent redness and lesion-type marks on my cheek, and they have dramatically cleared up since going on this cream a month ago. It's important to say I am using an antibiotic (Tetralysal) too, but as I understand it (not that I am claiming great knowledge), it would take months for the antibiotic to really kick in. On that basis, I am attributing the immediate improvement to the cream. I am from Ireland, and the cream is dear, c. €40, but to be honest, I'd have paid more for the improvement! I genuinely hope this helps someone else!"

For Rosacea "Here is my experience with Soolantra. Week 1 - 2: Burning, itching, tingling. Sometimes very intense. Week 3 - 4: Things got very bad during week three. I looked horrible. End of 4th week I started to notice some slight improvement. Weeks 5 - 6: Major improvement in skin texture, papules diminished, redness decreased. Week 7 - 8: Very frustrating. Good one day, bad the next. Towards the end of week 8, things began to clear again. Week 9 - 12: Continued improvement during the 3rd month with mostly good days. After 3 months, I stopped using it daily, and my skin has never looked this good. Redness has improved considerably but not 100%. Suggestion for those considering this medication is to start off using very little and stick with it. Cost for a 45-gram tube is $400 in Southern California. With my insurance, it was $200. Adding the manufacturer's coupon, it was $75. After 6 months, I just got my first refill. A little goes a long way. Good luck to all."

For Rosacea "When first diagnosed with rosacea, I had the occasional papules/pustules, some redness. It was not bad enough that it bothered me that much. Fast forward about seven years, the outbreaks became unbearable. My face was in a constant state of rebellion with never-ending breakouts. So I tried azelaic acid... did NOTHING. Tried MetroGel... did NOTHING. I went to my PCP for this treatment since I did not have six months to wait to get back in with my dermatologist, I asked her if she would call in Soolantra as a last-ditch effort, and she did. I saw it especially helps those with the papules/pustules. Give this a try if nothing else has worked. My face is 100% clear as long as I apply each night. This cream is life-changing. Use a coupon for savings on copay."

For Rosacea "I love this product. It helped reduce my rosacea outbreaks (pimples) and dry, flaky skin. Metrogel cream was just awful for me, but Rosiver (the Canadian name) has helped my skin so much. I only get an occasional outbreak here and there, which may be related to hormones and/or being exposed to the elements. I do have some rosacea redness, but it has gotten much better. My doctor shared with me that only laser treatment will help with the redness. I started seeing amelioration within the first 2 months of using this cream, and it only got better. After a year of using this product, I see BIG improvements. I'm so happy! I don't have to hide anymore and wear minimal makeup. One tube of this product will last you 3-4 months easily. Good luck!"

For Rosacea "Finally, Soolantra is available for prescription in New Zealand! Two weeks in, and I’ve experienced a dramatic improvement. I’ve had flushing rosacea for 7 years. Over the past year, I also developed severe rosacea bumps. I had raised patches on my cheeks which would last for 3-7 days, and then they’d disappear for a few days, and then resurface in a similar area. The bumps on my cheeks were raised, swollen, full of fluid, painful, and itchy. My forehead was also covered in a rash of tiny red bumps. Oral antibiotics and topical Rosex gel didn’t work. Soolantra cream is one of my last possible medication options. I couldn’t believe the relief I experienced overnight. The raised patches disappeared within a few days. No patches have returned in over 2 weeks. I’ve only had a few tiny red bumps on my face, but they don’t swell. Flushing has noticeably calmed down. No side effects, and usually I’m sensitive to everything. I’ll do another review after 3 months."

For Rosacea "I woke up with a random small rash patch that spread over two months to both sides of my cheeks. Apparently mild rosacea... bumpy red blotches, enlarged pores, just horrid skin. I’ve been on doxy for a month and azelaic acid 20%, which calmed the redness but wasn’t clearing the bumps. I’ve been using Soolantra for 4 days, and my skin has gotten so bad... lots of bumps which you can see in sunlight, which I never had before... will it get better?! I can’t take much more of it."

For Rosacea "I am 57 and have had rosacea for many years, my father also had it. I have always had a face that went red easily, with alcohol, coffee, mild exercise, etc., but started getting a few pustules and small lumps on my forehead and cheeks after a few wines over 20 years ago. Not severe, but enough to be noticed and to try various antibiotic creams, tablets, and laser with varying degrees of short-term success. I couldn't even pluck the top of my eyebrows without having an outbreak! My skin is generally good, as I had minimal other issues growing up and rarely use any makeup. Obviously, this cream has been just what I needed. 10 months ago, after using it for a month sparingly for about 3-4 weeks, I have not had a single outbreak!!! Where has this been all my life? I now just apply a little twice a week and still have a third of a 30g tube left! Hope you have the type of rosacea that responds too."

For Rosacea "So far, so good! I've had rosacea for over 20 years. I've had good days and bad days. It seemed like the bad days were coming more often, my confidence level plummeted, and the disease was affecting me at work, socially, etc. I was hesitant to try anything new from my dermatologist as it seemed like nothing was working. I figured that I had nothing to lose trying the Soolantra, as my doctor provided me with a few samples. Within days of using the Soolantra, my face looked and felt great! I've been using it for about a month now with glowing (pun intended) results. I look and feel fabulous. Kudos to Soolantra!"

For Rosacea "Literature on Soolantra says it works for 80% of users. And for that 80%, it is significantly more effective than other prescribed treatments. Fortunately, I am part of the 80%. For me, truly great success and no side effects. (The same goes for my two brothers.) On another site, I gave a similar review, but my youngest brother said to add, 'Soolantra works for him where everything else failed.'"

For Rosacea "I highly recommend! Had bad flare-up with rosacea on both cheeks, and my dermatologist has me applying Soolantra, and after just 3 days, my rosacea is 75% cleared. Med feels good, and I have been very generous with applying, even though directions say a thin coating. At 72, with very fair skin, if I have almost any cosmetic procedure, this will happen. I hope it works as well for you!"

For Rosacea "Soolantra has changed my life! I am 50, and about 5 years ago, I started breaking out with terrible pustules-up to 30 on my face at one time. They were like infections, sore and itchy, and would take weeks to heal. My face was a mess, and I was getting so depressed. I went to 2 dermatologists, and they put me on minocycline, which cleared my skin up beautifully but gave me terrible side effects. Once I stopped taking it, the pustules came back with a vengeance. I went to a third dermatologist (in Geneva, Switzerland), and he instantly said, 'You have rosacea!' The previous dermatologists never said that! He put me on Soolantra at night and Rozex in the morning. My skin cleared very quickly, now I rarely get a spot, and if I do, it clears in about 2 days. For me, Soolantra is a miracle cream. I have been using it for one year now with continued great results. It does not cure the redness from my rosacea, but it has cleared the pustules. I’m very happy!"

For Rosacea "Ordered from an online pharmacy as my Dr. in the UK would not prescribe it. Having suffered with rosacea for nearly 15 years using different treatments, I was fed up, and after research, decided to treat myself based on the demodex mite theory. I wash my face with Dove sensitive soap and lukewarm water, and after drying with a paper towel, apply a thin film to problem areas, in my case, cheeks and nose. Only been using 2 weeks, and after a couple of initial flare-ups in the first 10 days (possible reaction to mite die-off and associated bacteria), things definitely seem to be getting noticeably better, so really pleased, just hope it continues. I also changed my pillows and pillowcases I sleep on to help."

For Rosacea "I would 100% recommend trying Soolantra if you have rosacea. I’ve been using it once a day for about 2 months, and my skin hasn’t looked this good in years! I have struggled with rosacea pimples for about 2 years, and nothing had worked at all. Now, I haven’t had a single pustule! Even the little ones go away overnight. Definitely give it a try!"

For Rosacea "Soolantra has been an absolute nightmare. I went to my dermatologist for general redness and the occasional pustule. Now, 4 weeks later, my condition is AT LEAST 300% worse than when I started. My derm told me, 'It often gets worse before it gets better,' but, as I feared, it got worse only to get worse yet. Pustules, papules, and cysts have popped up AND STAYED, reinfecting and reinfecting, and now I look like I have a serious disease. In addition, I actually had to PAY for this nightmare substance!! Soolantra has made me agoraphobic. It may work for some, but it has completely wrecked me entirely."

For Rosacea "I have suffered from papulopustular rosacea for years. I was initially prescribed Met gel, which cleared it up, but it came back worse than ever. Using Met gel only dried my skin and made it worse. I bought Soolantra out of desperation, and it has worked a treat. I have been using it for two weeks once at night, and I currently have no whiteheads! My skin is also so smooth and clear now. It does get worse before it gets better, but this may be because it's killing all the Demodex mites, and their life cycle including eggs is three weeks."
