Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I started using Soolantra on the 22nd of March. The first 3 weeks were terrible: burning sensation, a huge rush all over my face, very dry skin, and lots of spots, and today my skin is so nice and soft. I will still use it for the next couple of months, but for all of you who have a similar experience, do not give up! This cream is a miracle, and I cannot recommend it enough. I have never had this baby skin in my entire life!!"

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "Me again! The last time I wrote here was after being on Soolantra for 3 months, and my skin was perfect! Because of that, I thought I could stop using it, however, I wish I never had because now my perioral dermatitis is back with a vengeance and ten times worse than before! I’ve been on Soolantra again for just over a month, and it’s not getting any better. I have huge pustules, redness, and scaly skin on my chin and lots of papules. It’s even spread to my forehead this time. It’s really upsetting as I’m only 20, and all through my teenage years, I had perfect skin, and now it looks as though I’ll never have that again, or at least I’ll be forever dependent on a cream to get there. I will continue to use Soolantra for the recommended 3 months again and update you all in due course."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I have tried a lot of medications for my rosacea (Metrogel, antibiotics, etc.). This is the only medication that has cleared my skin—yes, it does dry my skin, but after a couple of hours, I apply sunblock and face moisturizer, and I’m good."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I have suffered from papulopustular rosacea for years. I was initially prescribed Met gel, which cleared it up, but it came back worse than ever. Using Met gel only dried my skin and made it worse. I bought Soolantra out of desperation, and it has worked a treat. I have been using it for two weeks once at night, and I currently have no whiteheads! My skin is also so smooth and clear now. It does get worse before it gets better, but this may be because it's killing all the Demodex mites, and their life cycle including eggs is three weeks."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I've been using this for 7 weeks. At first, I thought this was the deal! No more dry skin, no more breakouts. Until 3 weeks ago. Now I get those big ones that really hurt, etc. Can that really be the mites? I just wish someone could give me advice. I'm running out of hope. I guess I will keep going for the 12 weeks everybody is talking about, but I doubt it will work. Best of luck to all that struggle out there!"

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I've used Soolantra for 4 days now. I'm experiencing super super dry skin, and my face seems to be getting worse, along with itchiness and a bit of a rash on my upper neck area. I'm gonna stick to the program and am hoping and praying that my skin gets better. Good luck to those on this journey too!"

For Rosacea "I got the diagnosis of “mild” rosacea two months ago - I had very dry, almost flaky, red skin, especially on my upper cheeks. Whenever I’d put on makeup, it would look horrible, dry and uneven, and just not like the beautiful skin I used to have. I also got some pimples on the cheeks that I never had before. I was so sad. My doctor gave me this, and I have been on it for a month (skipped some days even when sleeping out). My skin is almost clear now to a point where people comment on it. And I’m wearing less makeup. It has helped especially with the dryness quite quickly, and the redness is reduced every day, I feel. I did have some periods with big pimples on the cheek that I didn’t usually get, but it’s all worth it because it cleared fast. Now waiting for the last bit to clear up. I use it every evening before bed and wait about 20-30 minutes to put on my night moisturizer. Hope it will work just as well for you - it truly gave me back my confidence."

For Rosacea "I am going into my 4th week now and a little improvement overall, finally. I am hoping it continues to improve. The 4th day to the 14th day my face was the worst it has ever been, ever!! Breakouts everywhere, dry skin, and very itchy. Week 3 started to improve some. A little better than when I first started this med. I get rosacea more as breakouts on cheeks, above my mouth and under my chin. I will update again in 2 weeks."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "Me again! This is the second time I’ve used Soolantra to treat my perioral dermatitis and I highly recommend it. For those of you who are unsure whether Soolantra’s working for you: it is so common for your skin to flare up and get spottier/itchier in the first month, that’s just how the cream works. After that, your skin will probably be as dry as anything and this is normal too. Some useful tips are: 1) Only wash your face with warm water - absolutely NO exfoliating. 2) If you do pop your pustules, try to do it just before you shower and apply the cream straight after when your face is still wet (this thins the cream so that it doesn’t clog your pores as much!). 3) If your skin is flaking, do NOT use moisturizer as it breaks you out. Sadly, you just have to leave the flakes as picking at it damages the healing skin below. Really hope this helps and good luck to everyone!"
