For Rosacea "Prescribed Soolantra by my dermatologist for rosacea. Day 1, my entire face became inflamed. Bright red with a burning feeling. Day 2, my entire face felt like it was on fire. Used ice to help cool my face. Day 3, my entire face swelled up. Face and jawline were still red with a burning feeling like a sunburn. Called my dermatologist about my symptoms. I was advised to discontinue use. Was told to use Hydrocortisone 1% twice a day for 3 days. Then call back to report. I also took some over-the-counter Benadryl. I feel better already. I had high hopes for Soolantra. I may have an allergy to it. Glad it works for some."

For Rosacea "I’ve been using Soolantra since October, and it definitely got rid of the patchy red skin I got on my cheeks. I'm still using it now, and I go through a week or two of clear skin, then I have a reaction for no reason for like a week. I’m starting to think I have Demodex mites, as I’ve read all of these reviews. If I have Demodex mites, should I be using Soolantra at night as they are more active at night?"

For Rosacea "I’m in my 5th week with Soolantra and not sure about the redness, which won’t disappear. The bumps reduced and the skin is silky, it is clear an improvement, but I’m not sure if I’m getting worse instead of better. The redness is not uniform, and I am afraid to cover it not to get an allergic reaction. My dermatologist said I should go on for the next 2 months with Soolantra, but I am losing my faith."

For Rosacea "I'm 23 years old and have been struggling with what I thought was acne for the past 4 years. However, after a particularly bad outbreak that was mistaken as a staph infection, I have been given the diagnosis of granulomas rosacea, a subtype of type 2 rosacea. Dermatologists decided to treat this with oral antibiotics, of which I had allergic reactions. I was feeling hopeless until I did my own research and discovered Soolantra. I called my dermatologist the same day and asked for a prescription. Best decision ever. My cystic 'acne' bumps from the rosacea cleared up within one month and have remained clear. I noticed significant improvement within one week. Still have the redness, but that's easy to cover with makeup!"

For Rosacea "Suffer from mild rosacea on my cheeks only. Soolantra caused my cheeks to majorly break out and get worse. Estimated 10x as bad. Stayed on 2 weeks as I was reading this website and people commenting on the purging. But it didn’t feel right. Very sore, red, burning like I was sunburnt and 50 spots on each side. Saw my specialist today and she said I’m having an allergic reaction to the cream. So I stopped. My point is only your specialist knows how you were before and if this is working for you. So if you’re going through what I’ve been through: i.e., 2 weeks of increased symptoms, I’d advise you see your specialist rather than hang around on this cream."

For Rosacea "A colleague at work recommended Soolantra as he had tried everything and spent a lot of money on various products that did nothing. I was diagnosed with rosacea 12 years ago, tried different tablets, one did really well but I became allergic to, the other one I eventually stopped as I didn’t like the side effects. But eventually, the rosacea went, whether it was the daily coconut oil I was taking, I don’t know. In October 2017, to my horror, it came back, not too bad, but at Christmas, I had an awful breakout. I bought Soolantra and have only been using it for three weeks, at the beginning, it seemed to be helping, but now I have a huge cluster of bumps and pustules, which has made my face swell and is affecting my eye. I'm not sure if the cream is actually doing anything now, but I do expect things to get worse before seeing any real improvement. I will persevere for a few more weeks but may have to go to the doctor. I will try to update in a month."

For Rosacea "Do not put this stuff on your face. After using this for 2 nights, my cheeks are covered in red bumps and are a million times worse than before I started. Derm thinks it's an allergic reaction. Please learn from my mistake and avoid at all costs."
