For Birth Control "Let me say since starting this birth control I haven't had a period for 6 years, a little spotting here or there, but nothing I was concerned about. I really liked it up until now. This spring I have had a rash from the side of my temples, behind my ears, to around my throat. I have breast and nipple tenderness, which hurts badly. I have headaches more than usual. When my rash first happened, I thought it was dermatitis, so I went to the dermatologist, who prescribed me a higher dosage of hydrocortisone to try. Let's say it calmed it down but never went away. So I did a little more research on the web and found out it could be a hormone imbalance from the birth control, which totally made sense, I looked up the side effects, and it described me."

For Birth Control "So the pro is, it's prevented pregnancy and made me go up a cup size. Oh, and my acne has cleared up. Cons: the first month went well. I'm on month 3 of taking it, and let me tell you... I've been bleeding/spotting for about 34 days now. It's annoying. And when I start spotting heavily, I get severe cramping. It's interfered with my sex life and moods. I do get mood swings, but I'm thinking it's because I am so tired of bleeding. I've gained about 5 pounds, which isn't too bad for switching birth control."

For Birth Control "I got switched to Gildess when they started shipping it to me. Ever since I've gone from having a period for 3 days to hardly having one at all. I will spot a little once a month. I've also gained a lot of weight. But I'm not positive it was all due to the pill or not. I have noticed low sex drive, but I figured that just happened after getting married. Lol."

For Birth Control "I have been so moody while on this! I bled the whole first month (which I let slide because my body is getting used to the hormones). But I can't get over feeling exhausted and depressed all the time. I'm switching to another kind today."

For Birth Control "Gildess is my first ever birth control pill. Pro: didn't get pregnant. Cons: 1. I've been getting my period every 1.5-2 weeks! And when I'm not on my period, I get bad yeast infections, regardless of me taking probiotics to prevent that from happening. I have no sex life because of that (how ironic). I've been very emotional to the point of not recognizing my own behavior. My skin became very sensitive, I'm always getting rashes and irritations. It's been 2 months, I'm waiting one more miserable month and then will try to switch."

For Birth Control "I was prescribed this birth control at a local health clinic. I've been on it for 2 weeks. I've been on birth control since I was 20. I'm currently 24, and this is my first time using this kind. I am not one to write reviews for anything! I feel like I really had to share my experience with this particular issue. How do I say it sucks kindly? Ever since I used this birth control, I've been so emotional. I'm not normally an emotional person. This birth control makes me so needy and sad. My boyfriend even told me he thinks something weird is going on with me. I went back to the health clinic to see if I could get a different kind. They said starting a new birth control will affect me in some sort of way and that I should wait it out for 3 months."

For Birth Control "I hated this birth control due to the lack of libido, vaginal dryness (during sex), and persistent yeast infections. The pill also caused me to feel slightly depressed. I gave it 2 stars because it did make my skin look amazing! I used the pill for six months, and after six months with yeast infections, I got off of it. I could not have sex with a yeast infection, so the pill became essentially useless. All side effects ceased as soon as I stopped this pill."

For Birth Control "This is my 6th month on Gildess (my first form of birth control taken). I'm really confused with how my body is reacting to it. It made my vagina weirdly dry, mood swings were present before but were somehow amplified, and I bleed even when I'm not on my period (not just spotting, like a solid week before my period week). I'm trying out Gildess Fe 1.5/30 to see if it was a dosage problem, but it might be the brand itself. Wish me luck, and good luck to all who try it!"

For Birth Control "I started taking this for birth control. I have been on it for 1.5 months, and I have no issues with it now. The first couple of weeks were rough as far as mood swings/over-emotional responses to things. I was also slightly nauseous at times for the first week, but nothing unbearable or that would make me stop taking it. I still got a little emotional starting back up after my placebo week, but not as bad, and it went away after a couple of days. My period was much lighter than usual, which was very nice. Overall, I haven't had a bad experience, and my side effects were what I expected for starting any birth control. No major issues, I'm pretty happy with it so far."

For Birth Control "I just finished my first pack and didn't have a pleasant experience on this pill. My period typically comes around every 3 months and lasts for about 5 days, but I bled the entire time I was on this medication. I also never typically have cramps, but boy, did I have cramps. I also didn't have a problem with acne until I started this pill."

For Birth Control "I have been taking this medication a little over 7 months now. I take it so I don't have to get my period. I used to get awful period pains and now I have absolutely none! I used to struggle with acne and was worried it might make me break out, but, if anything, it made my skin clearer. Also, my breasts went up a size and haven't gained weight anywhere else so far. When I first started, I dealt with a little breakthrough bleeding, but that went away after a week or two. So, for me personally, I have had a really good experience with it. I would recommend trying it, BUT if you feel depressed or get bad side effects like others on it, I would try something new right away. It's just about finding the right birth control for your body."

For Birth Control "I started taking this birth control 4 months ago. I immediately developed acne all over my face, gained 20 pounds over the course of 2 months, suffered from debilitating cramps, and experienced intense mood swings. I do not recommend this birth control for anyone who is estrogen dominant."

For Birth Control "It's the only birth control I've taken, recommended by my doctor. No signs of acne or weight gain, however, I did start getting really bad migraines before my period and during my period. When I get a migraine, I know my period is on its way. That's the only downside. My boyfriend does finish in me, however, I'm extra careful. I take my pills at the same time every day, and I've never missed a pill in 1 year. Being a college student, it can be stressful and hard to remember, but that's why I have an alarm as well, just in case :)"

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for 4 months, and so has my sister. My sister loves it and has no problems with it. However, for me, I have symptoms of PCOS, so I don't get my period every month, so I started taking this pill. I didn't get a single period while on this pill, just brown discharge for 2 weeks straight every month. It was annoying, and my periods were more normal and better before I started taking this, so that was pretty weird. Requested a new birth control, and hopefully it works!"

For Birth Control "Gildess has been awesome for me. I've always had heavy periods that lasted at least 7-9 days. When I started Gildess, my periods have become light-normal and only last 3-4 days. I get breakouts every now and then, like I always have, so Gildess hasn't helped or made my acne worse. Overall, I have no complaints."

For Birth Control "I'm 14 years old, and I've been on it for 4 months, and I hate it. I'm on it for regular periods since my blood flows too quickly, and it has done nothing. I've been on my period for 4 months, light mostly, but heavy sometimes. I also went on it for my acne, but it did nothing. I gained 4 pounds, and now I have stubborn belly fat. I also have huge stretch marks (idk if it's related, but they showed up when I took it). Also, I have no motivation anymore. Don't take this, please!"

For Birth Control "I have racked my brain trying to remember the name of this birth control. Sad it is discontinued. My favorite out of five brands I have tried. Made me lose 5 lbs/mo without changing anything in my lifestyle. I never got pregnant, and I never had acne."

For Birth Control "I am 21. This is my first BC, so I really have nothing to compare with. Reading all the reviews - that's the only comparison I can make. I love it. No cramps, light to none period. 3 days max... Mood swings is only 1 day before the period, but I think I even had those before BC, lol. That's it :)"

For Menstrual Disorders "I had my period three times the first month, two on the second, and two times again on the third. While this BC did not make me gain weight, I don't believe it helped with my acne much. I called my doctor after the third month and she switched me to something different... just hope this won't be as bad as this pill... expect to be on your period the whole three first months, really.."

For Birth Control "I've been on birth control since I was 16 to help with my cramps and PMS. I'm 21 and recently switched to this birth control because of insurance coverage. I gained 20 pounds, extreme drowsiness, always tired, a lot of spotty and terrible acne, which I've never had before. The estrogen levels are too high, and I don't recommend this pill."

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for about 6 months now. The first month, I bled almost nonstop and my hair seemed to be falling out a lot more than usual, but I stuck with it, and now I have no side effects. I used to have seven-day, extremely painful periods, but now I bleed for about 4 days per month, and it is really light, which is wonderful!"

For Birth Control "If I could give this birth control a 0, I would. I have been taking it for about 5 months, and I've been on my period probably half of those 5 months. Please tell me what is the point in even being on birth control if you are bleeding all the time. No one wants to have sex when you're bleeding every single day. Also, this month, I haven't gotten a period, thanks birth control. Also, I've been so bloated all the time & get sick if I don't take my pill with food."

For Birth Control "As a first-time BC user, I feel Gildess is a good choice. Almost a year on it, no babies, and the only major issue is the few but annoying breakouts. Getting used to it was an emotional adventure, but no major weight gain, and my libido has even increased! I would take this pill over any non-combination pill and feel very lucky that starting with it was not too bad. Everyone's body is different, but this is a good pill if it is a suitable match for you."

For Birth Control "The first six months of using Gildess were unremarkable. It was effective in preventing pregnancy, did not worsen or produce acne, and I did not experience any remarkable weight gain. It was like any other birth control. After my first six months, however, I experienced spotting, heavier bleeding, and random periods throughout the month. In one month, I experienced two periods. For the past few months, my periods started after two weeks of active pills."

For Acne "I'm 21 years old, and this pill has helped clear my acne and has stopped my period cramps. I've been taking birth control since I was 16, and this has been the best one with fewer side effects. When I first started it, it gave me migraines, but that quickly went away after the first month. I am really happy with this pill."
