For Birth Control "This is the only birth control that doesn't make me crazy. It does take at least 3 months for your body to get used to it, and you have to take it at the exact time to prevent spotting and/or breakthrough bleeding. I don't gain any weight while on it, and it clears up my acne. Once my body became used to it, my periods were not painful, lighter, and shorter. Everyone is different, but the key with this one is you must take it on time!!"

For Birth Control "I've been on this for a little over 2 years. I was very emotionally unstable before and asked to be switched to one that doesn't alter moods, so they chose this one. My period comes at the same time every month and no more cramps! I had terrible cramps the whole first day I started, no matter what I did. Now they're nonexistent! And I finally feel like myself again. I recently gained weight, but not due to the birth control. It's a great choice for me!"

For Birth Control "Well, this is my first time on birth control, and it wasn't that bad. I just finished my first month. The first week I was on it, I was extremely moody, I cried a lot. Then I noticed that the nice person I was during my normal period cycle was spreading itself throughout my regular life. For Birth Control "I was questioning taking this birth control after reading all the reviews. I'm going onto my 3rd month. The first month, my period lasted about 2 weeks, but after that, the monthly cycles were super light, only 3 days, and always on time. Everyone's body is different. I didn't experience any low sex drive, spotting, or mood changes. I did notice a slight weight gain, but overall, I'm pleased with the birth control."

For Birth Control "My experience is completely different. I didn't gain any weight, I don't PMS at all since I've been on this birth control. I no longer cramp like I used to. I've probably had about one bad cramp, unlike when I wasn't on birth control. I would have terrible cramps every month. So yeah, I love this birth control."

For Birth Control "This has to be the worst birth control I have ever taken. I have never experienced so many side effects on any medication. This pill makes me so nauseous that I wake up out of my sleep!!!! My acne is usually controlled, but not on this! Gildess has wrecked havoc on my entire body. I get breakouts on my chest (ew, gross, I know), and I have gained so much weight on it. I'm talking about like 20 lbs., and let's not even mention how emotional I am. I cry about EVERYTHING. The only plus side to this was the huge cup size increase: 34B to 34D. If I hadn't already been to my gyn, I'd think I was pregnant. Nope, it's just this damn birth control. Oh, and my GYN says my blood pressure is also elevated. You are better off being pregnant!"

For Birth Control "This BC took some getting used to, the first month I had an extremely long period. Some irregular bleeding here and there, but only 3-pound weight gain. Anxiety got better, then got worse, and now I have pretty much no sex drive, and I'm always angry. My emotions seem to be x10. I have random periods throughout the pack, looks like I'm having two periods this month. Some periods were really light, now they're getting heavier and longer. My acne has cleared up, and I have not gotten pregnant or gained much weight."

For Birth Control "This pill did tremendously help with my cramps and lighten my period. But I have thought I was losing my mind since I started it. Very depressed all the time, extreme highs and way more extreme lows, my skin has never broken out like it has since starting this pill. I've gained almost 40 pounds. No matter how I cut back and exercise more, I can't get rid of it (something I've never had a problem with). My hair is literally falling out. I'm so achy and sore all day, every day, and I don't even know what sleep is anymore. Funny enough, I didn't connect any of these symptoms to this pill, even though it all didn't start until after I started this pill. It was just another sleepless night on the net. I'll just deal with the cramps, not worth it."

For Birth Control "I've been on Gildess Fe 1/20 for about 4 months now, and at first, it was great! Slowly, I started to see changes in my behavior and body... I started getting irritated more and easier, I started getting a lot more emotional than normal, and I started gaining weight, resulting in me getting depressed about my body. I spot in the middle of my cycle about a week before my period starts, and I thought this was just my body getting used to it, but it's become clockwork. I have nothing but nightmare stories with birth control, so I'm starting to feel like it's not for me."

For Birth Control "This is the worst birth control I have ever been on! I am 31 years old and recently had the Nexplanon removed. BIG MISTAKE!!! I never write reviews, but this birth control is the DEVIL!! While on the Nexplanon, I never had cramps, bloating, breast tenderness, or horrible mood swings. Gildess, I have all these symptoms plus paranoia and depression. I have been taking these pills for a month and a half and never have felt more insecure in my life. The weight gain is an issue as well, I gained 12 pounds within the 1st month. I realized that this birth control was making me feel crazy, anxious, and not myself, so I made an appointment for my OBGYN for a better option. I can't wait to throw these pills down the drain. Hope this is helpful."

For Polycystic Ovary Syndrome "I've been taking Gildess for about 11 months now. I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, so my periods are normally very far and few. I was prescribed Gildess to regulate my periods, but mainly to help with PMDD. Since taking Gildess, it has helped tremendously with my anger/depression. My mood swings are gone, but I've gained 40 pounds! One of the side effects of this med is weight gain and cravings for carbs and sweets. I like what Gildess has done for my mood, but I hate the weight gain. That may be a factor in me stopping this medication soon."

For Birth Control "I was on the Depo shot for 6 years, no periods, no weight gain, all great. I then had to be taken off, so I got the Mirena, still no periods but I was in constant pain, so I had it taken out and started this pill about a month and a half ago. I've been extremely moody and irritable. My periods have been regular so far. I have noticed I'm starting to gain weight and bloat, and it doesn't seem to be related to the period. I feel like a balloon. I've also been experiencing a lot of headaches and body/joint pain over the last couple of weeks. I'm pretty miserable and will be switching to something else as soon as I can."

For Birth Control "RUN THE OTHER WAY! I started on Gildess because the mail-order pharmacy chose it as a substitute for my normal brand. I've been on it for 2 months, and I'm up 9 pounds so far despite doing the 21-day fix over the past month. Called my gyno, and she asked me to come in immediately. Rapid weight gain like that is apparently not good. Other unpleasant side effects seem to be alternating between rage and depression, acne on my face, neck, and chest (oh baby!), zero libido, long, heavy periods with a decent amount of cramping, and migraines. Having another kid wouldn't be as bad as another month on this pill."

For Birth Control "So the pro is, it's prevented pregnancy and made me go up a cup size. Oh, and my acne has cleared up. Cons: the first month went well. I'm on month 3 of taking it, and let me tell you... I've been bleeding/spotting for about 34 days now. It's annoying. And when I start spotting heavily, I get severe cramping. It's interfered with my sex life and moods. I do get mood swings, but I'm thinking it's because I am so tired of bleeding. I've gained about 5 pounds, which isn't too bad for switching birth control."

For Birth Control "I had to stop taking Gildess when my insurance changed, but for a review: I took Gildess for over two years, I've never had any issues. Yes, I gained some weight, then I lost it. Yes, my acne fluctuated. This relates to stress levels as well. Overall, it did a great job keeping me child-free, and I had no issues with it at all. Fingers crossed my new BC is just as good."

For Birth Control "I'm 14 years old, and I've been on it for 4 months, and I hate it. I'm on it for regular periods since my blood flows too quickly, and it has done nothing. I've been on my period for 4 months, light mostly, but heavy sometimes. I also went on it for my acne, but it did nothing. I gained 4 pounds, and now I have stubborn belly fat. For Birth Control "I've been on birth control since I was 16 to help with my cramps and PMS. I'm 21 and recently switched to this birth control because of insurance coverage. I gained 20 pounds, extreme drowsiness, always tired, a lot of spotty and terrible acne, which I've never had before. The estrogen levels are too high, and I don't recommend this pill."

For Birth Control "As a first-time BC user, I feel Gildess is a good choice. Almost a year on it, no babies, and the only major issue is the few but annoying breakouts. Getting used to it was an emotional adventure, but no major weight gain, and my libido has even increased! I would take this pill over any non-combination pill and feel very lucky that starting with it was not too bad. Everyone's body is different, but this is a good pill if it is a suitable match for you."

For Birth Control "I have been on this pill for about 5 months now. I switched to this after having problems with Depo, which caused me horrible migraines that actually put me in the hospital. Since I've started this pill, I've had nothing but problems with constant bleeding. The strength of the pill has been changed higher a few times. After sex, I bleed, going to the bathroom, I bleed. I absolutely hate it. I've also been very irritable, but mostly because I'm tired of bleeding. And I feel dizzy all the time and feel out of body. I'd rather gain a ton of weight on the Depo and deal with migraines again than deal with what I'm going through on Gildess."

For Birth Control "I was given Gildess to help control my ovarian cysts. BIG MISTAKE! I have gained weight, feel depressed and tired, and when I do have periods now, they are horrible, painful, and really heavy. They will last indefinitely too. I have bled for over 30 days. I thought this was just my perimenopause, but after reading everyone's reviews, I felt I had the same symptoms as them and felt obligated to share."
