For Birth Control "After taking this medication I suffered Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST = blood clot in my brain) and stoke. I am 35 years old was on birth control since 15 was on the depo shot most of the time after having my kids I decided to take this oral contraceptives. And now I suffer a huge brain clot I’m on blood thinners being monitored weekly, was hospitalized for weeks and looking at a year or more recovery. Please be careful what you put into your body I learned the hard way. Always thinking that won’t happen to me and it did."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Have had a period with cramps since Sept 2019. started Seasonique to try to get rid of my abnormal bleeding, I had heavy periods, migraines, nausea and cramps prior to starting and weeks of spotting. Now I'm on my 46th pill of Seasonique and am STILL moderate bleeding must wear tampons or pads daily since Sept, and I have nausea, upset bowels, and horrible cramps sometimes I can't even stand up. My doctor said to keep taking it and finish the pack and it will get better. WILL IT? I have not stopped bleeding for months and its so difficult to explain to a spouse why I feel sick and am STILL also bleeding."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Love this! I have been on this pill for years now and it is amazing. I use to have heavy bleeding and horrible cramps and this pill has stopped it for me. Due to being anemic and having endometriosis I am set to have my period every 6 months and I never spot in between. This pill is definitely for people who's body can handle going long terms with out a menstrual period. And you have to follow directions, taking the pill the same exact time every day and never missing a pill. Its the only way it will work properly"

For Birth Control "I have been using Seasonique for a little over a year now. The first month and a half on Seasonique is great but then the spotting starts. For the past 2 1/2 weeks on the last pack I have been bleeding. It has given me acne and very painful cramps. I am switching to another birth control."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Seasonique made my face break out, I had a lot of spotting and abdominal cramps. I was prescribed Seasonique to regulate my periods, and it did the exact OPPOSITE! Since day one of starting this product I have had to wear a pad because of the spotting."

For Birth Control "I've been taking Seasonique for almost 9 months now. First month is fine, I don't get my period or any bleeding or any other side effects. As soon as the second month is almost over, I start spotting and I don't stop spotting until I receive my period at the end of the 3rd month. I spot for months straight and it's actually ridiculous. This pill is very expensive and it's only supposed to give 4 periods a year yet all I do is bleed. The spotting is little-to-no blood which is very annoying. My sex drive is non-existent which ultimately makes being on the pill completely pointless."

For Birth Control "I've been on Seasonique for 6 months and for the first three months it worked as it was supposed to, despite some spotting. Now however, I have an appointment to change it as for the last 40 days I have had a non-stop period. Not simply spotting but continuous bleeding. This is not the birth control for me."

"Seasonique made an incredible difference to my life. It got rid of my PMDD symptoms, no more hysterical mood swings, no more anxiety or depression before my period. I have classic PMDD, I’ve had it my whole life, my mother and my sister have it too. My mother’s symptoms stopped when she had the menopause, but it ruined her life - job, relationships etc. My symptoms always stopped when I was pregnant as there was a constant supply of oestrogen. I’m so glad I found something that helps. I’m writing this post to maybe help someone else, don’t rely on nature to help you if you have PMDD, see a female doctor who can help you stabilise your hormones. Good luck!"

For Birth Control "Been on seasonique for 8 years. Had tiny spotting only twice in this 8 years. Otherwise, my body has fully followed the pack as I think it's suppose to be. I still get migraines on my period but 4 times a year is a way less than 12 times a year. My period at first was a bit more normal, after all these years I'm now a bit lighter than what I used to be."

For Birth Control "I have been on Seasonique for almost three years and have not had any issues! I love only having my period 4 times a year. Additionally, I don’t experience heavy bleeding when I do get my period and my usual symptoms are so much less intense. Initially I did bleed for almost two weeks when I started the pack which was not fun but since my body regulated to it it has been great!"

For Birth Control "I've been taking Seasonique for two years. When I first started using it nothing major really changed with my body, but after the first couple of months I started to break out more often and my sex drive was practically non-existent. Two years later, the acne problem isn't as bad, but my sex drive is still gone and during intercourse I am also dry which makes intercourse uncomfortable. This was my first birth-control and I am now switching."

For Birth Control "I couldn't be on this pill for more than three days. I started taking it because I liked the thought of only having a period once every three months. Almost immediately I got extremely exhausted, nauseous, fluctuating body temperatures, overwhelming sadness, a heavy feeling in my chest, and on the third day I had a panic attack at work so I decided to stop taking it. I felt 100x better when I woke up this morning after not taking it last night. I know you're supposed to give it time to work but I have never reacted that horribly to birth control before."

For Birth Control "Started this thinking it would be a great fit for me. I am 23 years old, just had a baby 6 weeks before. I had stopped the bleeding after having a baby so I started taking the birth control. After a few days I noticed right away that my anxiety got really bad. I had ZERO patience for anything which was taking a toll on my family (this is not due to the new baby). I didn't want to be around anyone, everything annoyed me. I am normally a very laid back, easy going person so this was abnormal. The panic attacks would get so horrible I would curl up in a ball and cry. My sex drive was normal, but wasn't there cause all I would do was bleed heavily. I have been bleeding heavily for 3 weeks now. Stopped the pack after 2 weeks."

For Birth Control "I have been taking Seasonique since I gave birth to my second child March 2011 and I enjoy having only four periods a year. However, I do notice that once my period comes I experience severe migranes where I am knocked to the floor in pain. I also get moderate acne around my jawline when I do have my period even though I do not mind it as much since it helps out with my acne when I do not have my period."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I started this drug because I have painful cramps and pretty heavy periods and also I have symptoms of PMDD. On the first month my boobs got a bit swollen and tender and I had less depression which was cool. The 2nd month was cool other than occasional spotting. Then on the 3rd month I made the mistake of forgetting my daily pill and my period started and it’s been happening for about 7 days so far and there’s no sign of it stopping. The cramps is bearable though, my flow isn’t as heavy either but i still have some depressive symptoms and mood swings but It’s not as bad as before I took this drug. I don’t think it’s terrible, though and I would take it again since it did reduce my cramps."

For Birth Control "I've been on Seasonique (generic Camrese) for almost 9 years!! This drug is great. I got on it when it was new to the market. I take it at night and NEVER miss a dose. I've never had any spotting between periods and sometimes I skip 2 quarters, meaning I have 2 periods a year. Even my OBGYN can't believe it's still working, she says many women's bodies just won't let them stay on this drug for long. Until I'm ready to start a family, Seasonique is the birth control for me. No more heavy periods, cramps, mood swings, or missed work. I also save on feminine products, when I do have a period its light and usually 2 days. My advice, give it a try, take it at the same time everyday (I have 2 alarms). Hopefully it will work for you too !"

For Birth Control "I've been on seasonique for about a month and a week. I had no bleeding or spotting when first taking this. Which from reviews I've read im worried if thats normal. I do have trouble taking it on time but do pretty well for the most part. I have experienced nausea and alot of fatigue. Im tired ALOT! i took a pregnancy test after the first 3 weeks and it was negative. I just took it to make sure. Being tired with nausea does make me nervous with this new birth control. But so far it has been pretty good to me. I hope this is helpful for other women who are on this medication. These other reviews have helped me! Thank you ladies!"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I say do not buy this birth control. I started taking this to control my abnormal periods. After the first month being fine I started to bleed in the middle of the pack. This was around July... It is now September and I am still currently bleeding. I will never use this product again, save yourself the money and trouble."

For Endometriosis "I am in my third month of taking this, and absolutely love it. The first two weeks I had headaches and slight nausea, so I switched taking it at night. So if you try this don't give up, it went away for me. I don't have mood swings, which I did before taking. I don't feel like I get bloated either. I've had some slight bleeding at the end of my second month, but doctor said that was normal that my body has to get used to the pill. Love the fact I don't have heavy periods anymore. I would recommend it. Looking forward to not having a period every month. My mood is stable and I feel happy. As far as acne goes, I can say it's not giving me any problems."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I started taking this pill 8 years ago. It was awesome. Light periods that lasted only a few days! Recently on third month spotting started. I figured period was coming early bc of stress. About 3 weeks later I’m having the heaviest period I’ve had in YEARS! Painful cramps, clots and just so much bleeding! I am miserable!"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Start taking the medication to stop it. But it never did I've been on the pill for 2 weeks now and it seem like I'm bleeding more than when I was not on the pill having huge blood clots and bleeding uncontrollably calling doctor in the morning to see what I can do"

For Birth Control "I've been on this BC for a little over a year now. First few packs were awesome! No mood swings, no break through bleeding, period always on time, smooth sailing.. My last two packs have been a nightmare. I'm moody, I'm getting break through bleeding often and it actually scares me because I always think something is wrong if I'm bleeding and it's not time for my period... and my period was over a week late on my last pack. My period isn't due to come for another 3 weeks now but I'm currently bleeding. Not happy. Will definitely be seeing my doctor about a new pill. Maybe my body has decided it's not strong enough anymore."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Started taking generic brand first two months worked fine three days into my third pack started spotting now I'm full blown on my period. For Ovarian Cysts "I am on my second pack of Seasonique. Day 2 of the yellow pills and my period hasn't come yet. Could be because 2 weeks ago I had a 10 day period with heavy clotting. I have had no bad side effects other than lack of sex drive which doesn't bother me since I am not having sex. I am using this to treat my ovarian cysts that have grown back."

For Birth Control "I have been on Seasonique for almost 3 months, I haven't had any spotting however really bad acne on my T-zone. In the past I have had maybe 2-3 spots at a time but now 3 months In I have multiple spots triple or more than usual. I am totally attracted to 3-4 menstrual cycles a year, not to the idea of the acne however."
