For Birth Control "This birth control, Seasonique, caused me to be hospitalized with multiple pulmonary embolisms (blood clots in my lungs). While the initial use of this contraceptive and hospitalization was years ago, I am still feeling the effects. Any pregnancy I have will be high risk, requiring me to take blood thinners, and my child will be more susceptible to blood clots in their lifetimes."

For Birth Control "I have been so happy on this medication. I actually take the generic version and am on my 3rd month. I had been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen for years. I am 32. Just some occasional light spotting so far. I have suffered from migraines for a long time, especially around my period, and on these pills they have decreased. My breasts have increased at least a cup size and are super firm (boyfriend approved!). No loss of sex drive at all. I have gained about 10 pounds, but I don't really mind the weight gain with having no period, no migraines, and a free increase in breast size."

For Birth Control "I just started Seasonique almost two months ago. For about the first five weeks, it was fine and I didn't have a period or spotting. Although for the last three weeks, I've been bleeding like a normal period. Also, ever since I started taking it, my libido is really low and I simply have no sex drive. My gyno says that the bleeding is just my body getting used to the new drug, but honestly, a three-week period."

For Birth Control "I have been taking Seasonique for almost three months. I did not have a period until three weeks ago, and I have been on my period for 3 weeks. It is very light, I have read through the information, and it says your period can last for over 20 days. I do have a call into my doctor to see how much longer I need to have my period before I need to be concerned."

For Birth Control "Fantastic experience. 9 months on Seasonique and never had breakthrough bleeding. Slight appetite increase, but no acne or crazy mood swings. My last 2 birth control pills gave me insane mood swings. My fiancé is thrilled with my choice in Seasonique."

For Polycystic Ovary Syndrome "I love this pill! I used to have very painful periods, and other birth controls would make me feel worse. My doctor didn't want to prescribe me this, but I wanted it anyway. I only get four periods a year. This pill doesn't make me gain weight, and it has helped my acne more than others. I have been on this pill for over a year now, and I will never switch to anything else. I trust this pill and am very satisfied with it! I would definitely recommend this to any woman out there!"

For Birth Control "I have suffered from incredibly awful menstrual migraines while on the 'inactive' break pills with every brand of birth control for years. The low-dose estrogen break pills with Seasonique have saved my life! Zero headaches and lighter periods. I can't believe I suffered all these years. 10/10 recommend!"

For Birth Control "So I totally agree with some of the comments below. I've been on Seasonique since grade 9 (in my second year of college as of Sept 2015). I'm not gonna say why, but I will say that it was definitely great in the beginning. Periods became regular, I had my period for about 5 days, which I find healthy in my opinion since I don't get it for 3 months, and it has cleared up my face from acne and pimples. As of this year, I have noticed that the pill isn't working as it should. During the last week or 2 before the yellow pills or 'period pills,' I get constant on and off spotting. Then, during the week of my period pills, I don't get my period until the last few days. Usually Wed to Fri if following the actual week. Been taking it for 5 yrs now."

For Birth Control "I have been on Seasonique for almost three months now. The first month and a half, it was perfect, then I missed it for three days when I misplaced it and began spotting. I want to try to have my period and then get back on it and take it on time this time. It kept my skin clear. My breast size increased close to a full cup size, and I didn't have much weight gain. My sex drive was not lost at all. If anything, it increased."

For Birth Control "An incredible birth control. Do not be turned off by people saying they bled or spotted for weeks or months - this is only because it must be started at a specific point in your cycle. It stopped my period for three months without any spotting until it was finally due. My only complaint is that the bleeding lasted a few days longer than usual, but that is it. I didn't even experience the horrible cramps I previously did. An excellent birth control I recommend for both regulating/stopping your period and as actual birth control."

For Birth Control "I love this birth control so far! I've been on it for 2 months. I spotted on and off for the first 3 weeks. I just used a Poise pantyliner and was fine. I have had slight acne, but I wash and use Bentonite clay 3 times a week. I've heard of excessive spotting, you have to take it at the same time every day. I take it at 7 pm like clockwork, sometimes 6:30. Take it at night."

For Birth Control "I LOVED this birth control! Never had any side effects. Breasts got bigger, which was a plus. Face was clear. The only reason I stopped taking it was because I am abstinent and no longer need a birth control. It's amazing! Three thumbs up."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Since age 12, I had cramps that would literally make me throw up, bleeding that was so heavy it took 10-12 super tampons a day, and prolonged periods of up to a month. This medication was a lifesaver. My period is now light, few cramps, and very short. It helps with my problems. But of course, there are some things I don't particularly like. My sex drive is absolutely zero (my boyfriend doesn't appreciate that), and I'm more emotional than ever. Random crying outbreaks happen, and the feeling of raging."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Seasonique made my face break out. I had a lot of spotting and abdominal cramps. I was prescribed Seasonique to regulate my periods, and it did the exact opposite! Since day one of starting this product, I have had to wear a pad because of the spotting."

For Birth Control "I was going through postpartum depression really bad. I was on this pill for seven years before I got pregnant. I went back on the pill for postpartum depression, and it's calmed my anxiety. It has done wonders for me. I did not get pregnant on this pill."

For Birth Control "It's birth control, and I feel with every birth control I have had, I have similar side effects - low sex drive, about 10 pounds weight gain that WILL NOT go away (workout 6 days a week & eat paleo). But it works in controlling my endometriosis pain, and my periods only last about 4-5 days. If you start spotting, stop taking the pill and have a period! That's how you get it to stop. I have been taking this for 10 years, and I take it at the same time and still have spotting, but that's just what happens when you try to tell your body to stop a natural process. If you have endometriosis, I recommend this pill, OTHERWISE, get a regular 1-month pill, which will give you less side effects while still working at a method of contraceptive."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I took this med for about a week and a half. The first few days, pleasantly, no side effects. Then I started having the worst insomnia, vivid nightmares, and deep-bone back pain/body aches every night. Fast forward to days 7-9, I still had all of the above, plus acne, panic attacks, racing thoughts, stomach cramps, diarrhea, depression, and hot flashes. At this point, I would rather have heavy, painful periods! I am an attorney and cannot function like this."

For Endometriosis "I've been on Seasonique for a few years, and I love it. Only four periods a year, and they are much lighter. I do have some spotting in between periods, but only four periods a year outweighs the occasional spotting. It has really helped me with my endometriosis. I rarely experience symptoms from the endometriosis, and when I do, they are usually milder. I would recommend Seasonique to everyone!"

For Endometriosis "I am in my third month of taking this, and absolutely love it. The first two weeks I had headaches and slight nausea, so I switched to taking it at night. So if you try this, don't give up, it went away for me. I don't have mood swings, which I did before taking it. I don't feel like I get bloated either. I've had some slight bleeding at the end of my second month, but the doctor said that was normal, that my body has to get used to the pill. Love the fact I don't have heavy periods anymore. I would recommend it. Looking forward to not having a period every month. My mood is stable, and I feel happy. As far as acne goes, I can say it's not giving me any problems."

For Birth Control "I've been on Seasonique for nearly 5 years. It cleared up cystic acne, lessened the severity and frequency of my migraines, and most importantly, controlled the psychotic symptoms I have with severe PMDD and menstrual psychosis. The drawback? I gained over 30 lbs without major exercise or dietary changes. So it's a toss-up in my opinion."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Have had a period with cramps since Sept 2019. Started Seasonique to try to get rid of my abnormal bleeding. I had heavy periods, migraines, nausea, and cramps prior to starting, and weeks of spotting. Now I'm on my 46th pill of Seasonique and am STILL experiencing moderate bleeding, must wear tampons or pads daily since Sept, and I have nausea, upset bowels, and horrible cramps. Sometimes I can't even stand up. My doctor said to keep taking it and finish the pack and it will get better. WILL IT? I have not stopped bleeding for months, and it's so difficult to explain to a spouse why I feel sick and am STILL also bleeding."

For Birth Control "I've been on Seasonique (generic Camrese) for almost 9 years! This drug is great. I got on it when it was new to the market. I take it at night and NEVER miss a dose. I've never had any spotting between periods, and sometimes I skip 2 quarters, meaning I have 2 periods a year. Even my OBGYN can't believe it's still working, she says many women's bodies just won't let them stay on this drug for long. Until I'm ready to start a family, Seasonique is the birth control for me. No more heavy periods, cramps, mood swings, or missed work. I also save on feminine products, when I do have a period, it's light and usually 2 days. My advice: give it a try, take it at the same time every day (I have 2 alarms). Hopefully, it will work for you too!"

For Birth Control "While on Seasonique, I didn't notice the changes my body went through until I started doing some research. I loved only having one period every 3 months, but the periods were painful-bad cramps, lower back pain the first 2 days. The first 4 months were fine, then I started a month and a half long period, but I stuck it out hoping it would be better. Then things were going good until I started bleeding during intercourse. I went to see my doctor, and she told me it was probably caused by the birth control. Also, since I started taking it, I would get the sensation that I would faint, and I have fainted once while on it. Had a little weight gain, it really messed up my hormones. Guess my body didn't like it!"

For Birth Control "I have been on Seasonique for almost 3 months, I haven't had any spotting, however, really bad acne on my T-zone. In the past, I have had maybe 2-3 spots at a time, but now, 3 months in, I have multiple spots, triple or more than usual. I am totally attracted to 3-4 menstrual cycles a year, not to the idea of the acne, however."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I wanted to try Seasonique for the 4 periods a year. On my 1st month, I started bleeding on the 3rd week and still bleeding 3 weeks later. The bleeding is really annoying and doesn't seem to be letting up. It's a thicker consistency and small clots. I will give this a little more time, but so far, I'm not happy at all! After reading other comments, it seems more bleeding is expected than what's advertised! :("
