Estrace Vaginal Cream (estradiol) "My doctor gave me this cream for my vaginal dryness and pain and burning when I urinate. I'm 47 years old. I haven't had my period since this January and started with the terrible dry vagina symptoms. I just started using the cream, so far I haven't noticed any bad side effects yet, and I hope I won't have any. I noticed that the burning sensation is less when I urinate. This morning when I woke up, I feel my vagina less dry, but halfway through the day the dryness came back. I hope that the more time I use the cream, the symptoms of dry vagina will go away completely. I have avoided having sex with my husband because I'm afraid it's going to hurt more. I'm very motivated after reading the reviews I read before, and maybe I can return to enjoy sex again."

Imvexxy (estradiol) "I had great results after a few days of taking it but it has been 10 days now and I feel a “ itchy feel good sensation in my vagina “ I am worried I am getting a yeast now. Has anyone else experienced this. I am assuming it’s not just hormones making me feel fluttery in there. "

Estrace Vaginal Cream (estradiol) "Painful sex for year and a half. Was at my wits end, finally went to the doctor and described severe pain and dryness not relieved. She prescribed this cream. Miracle drug! No more pain, dryness improving. My husband and I are thrilled! Go on their website for a coupon. Almost 300 bucks but I only had to pay $25.00"

Imvexxy (estradiol) "My Dr. wanted me to take this every night for two weeks. I had to discontinue use after 4 nights. When I would get up in the morning, there was so much discharge. I had a horrible headache the entire four days that I took it. It made my rosacea flair up. I felt tired and run down and my body felt sore."

Yuvafem (estradiol) "Yvuafem makes me spot and it gets worse over several days. First yellow and dark brown and then bloody discharge. My doctor checked me out. I’m fine so it’s definitely this medication. I did not have this problem with Vagifem and will tell my doctor the Vagifem is what I want. I am 63 years old. When I use the Yuvafem I have to wear a liner. Terrible medication and should be pulled from the market."

Estrace Vaginal Cream (estradiol) "Extraordinarily overpriced since it is plant based - which means it is probably just soy. Even with my medicare drug insurance, it was going to be over $200. I called a Pharmacy where I used to get my compounded hormones - $27 plus shipping. Suggest you do too. "

Vagifem (estradiol) "I take a fairly high dose of Effexor XR and within a week of using Vagifem 10 my depression was as bad as it has ever been! It took me a day or two to realise a possible connection. My gynaecologist told me to stop using it immediately."

Vagifem (estradiol) "Great medicine. I was having recurrent UTIs and vaginal infections as a part of menopause. I have been on this medication for two months and have had no issues at all. I highly recommend it for vaginal atrophy"

Vagifem (estradiol) "I was on the generic for atrophic vaginitis and bladder issues. I was on it twice a week for 10 months. Ultrasound, before I started, showed everything normal...after 10 months numerous gallstones and hepatic hemangioma. Now I have to have my gall bladder out. It did work wonders, but I can't take it...Gyn. told me to stop immediately. I wish there were more things to help this condition!!"

Imvexxy (estradiol) "I got bad migraine headaches on this medication. Imvexxy I was not able to work because of the headaches/nausea. I can't tolerate this medication. I was even on the lowest dose and it's still horrible. I will go to another option that is not hormonal. This stuff is vicious. If I could give it a Zero, I would."

Estring (estradiol) "Best decision I ever made. I had lost feelings in my breasts and was so dry down there I wanted to cry. Was in vaginal pain every day. Dr. said Estring would take at least 2 weeks to begin working. For me it began working within 3 days. I feel like a new woman."

Vagifem (estradiol) "I used Vafifem for Atrophic Vaginitis for 8 years. I experienced hair loss, weight gain, breathlessness, painful headaches, and extreme shoulder pain resulting in limited mobility in my arms. I have also developed an abnormal heart rate resulting in Atrial Fibrillation and high blood pressure. My doctor advised me to stop using it. On stopping all of the above symptoms disappeared. I think this medication is highly toxic for some women and should be monitored more closely by your doctor."

Imvexxy (estradiol) "I’m 51 and been in menopause for a few years. Imvexxy and progesterone 100mg have helped me 100 percent! I have been taking both for 2 weeks and intercourse is comfortable and pleasurable. I had a few headaches the first week. No other side effects. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with the results of Imvexxy. He thinks my breasts feel larger than before too. Thankful customer."

Estring (estradiol) "I started using estring because of vaginal dryness and urinary frequency. It's been 4 weeks since I started using the ring and found that it was a little odd inserting a ring that size. So far I am tolerating it well. I went from being dry as the Sahara Desert to feeling moist again so I give it an A for that. I had been on estrace for 2 years and cannot stand the messiness. Estrace cream made me get more yeast infections. I'm done with the cream and in with the ring. Hopefully I will still keep having good results with the ring."

Estrace Vaginal Cream (estradiol) "I'm 57 and have been using Estrace cream sporadically for about a year. I've found the drug component to be pretty effective, but I just hate that greasy goop it's put in. It seems to leave a trail for days as it leaks out. I would prefer something that absorbs better."

Imvexxy (estradiol) "Used Imvexxy before bed the first time and could tell a difference the next morning a HUGE improvement for me. I guess over time I hadn't realized how Sahara dry things were. Still new to it but haven't noticed any side effects thus far. HUGE HUGE difference"

Imvexxy (estradiol) "I’ve been using this for a few months and am new to these type of products. This product gets all over your underwear even if you insert it before bed. You wake with it everywhere. I think more comes out than stays in. I’m going to ask for something else because I don’t think this really helps dryness."

Estrace Vaginal Cream (estradiol) "this past Feb I literally thought my insides were being ripped out. Expected to see them lying on the floor after sex one Monday afternoon.I was throbbing and hurting the rest of the evening and into the the morning. The next day I called my GYN and begged to be seen. she diagnosed my with this and several rips. She gave me an Estrace cream sample and prescription along with one for the rips. I do not have medical insurance.I healed the rips with coconut oil and started the cream 1 oz 2 times a week, She says it is not absorbed. Well, all I know is that my hot flashes have lessened, sex is no pain and if I don't use it like I'm supposed to, all that changes! I'm blessed to have friends in the medical field that can keep me in samples."

Imvexxy (estradiol) "I was prescribed Imvexxy and 1) it took too long to work 2) I had to endure additional testing because the Company that created it didn’t have the foresight to think that maybe they shouldn’t make the capsule pinkish which when dissolved and leaked on panties could be mistaken for spotting in a post menopausal female. How stupid! No thanks. My Dr. prescribed the Premarin cream for me instead. I only use a tiny amount 2x a week . Worked quickly. Not messy."

Vagifem (estradiol) "This med was a complete cure....I went through menopause - experienced extreme dryness and horrific pain during relations....constant urinary infections as well. I use the 10mcg and it was perfect....get it a lot cheaper through israelpharm.....different amounts in packaging - but still a heck of a lot cheaper than Walmart....yay!!!"

Estring (estradiol) "I started using estring ring a little over a month and a half ago. I was unsure if I really wanted to walk around for 90 days with this object in my vagina. I thought I would be able to feel it. I was so totally wrong! Finally after having it in my possession for a month I finally inserted it and waited for results. Menopause had caused my vagina walls to become thinner and dryer. Sex with my husband was frustrating! I still wanted to be intimate but my vagina was not cooperating! So here we are at the almost 2 month mark, and I am totally satisfied with my ring! My walls seem to have more elasticity, lubrication, and it feels like it belongs to me again!! I do not feel it at all, and my husband says it does not bother him."

Estring (estradiol) "I got the Estring yesterday after paying $430!!! Had no idea it was that expensive. I can’t insert it where it will stay in place. I had a hysterectomy 20 years ago and assume it’s because my cervix was removed. This is an incredibly expensive disaster. I’m very unhappy and at a loss as to what to do."

Estring (estradiol) "I have dryness and painful sex. I was so excited to try this but after three days I had to take it out. It was not uncomfortable, in fact I couldn’t feel it but the abdominal cramping was unbearable and then the back pain and now on the third day of it out I have terrible bloating. It is not worth it and frankly the pain kept me up at night. I didn’t know it was related to the ring until I took it out."

Imvexxy (estradiol) "I was having very bad vaginal dryness that was leading to chronic UTIs and yeast infections, pain with intercourse, pain and burning with urination... I was miserable. I tried the Estradiol creams and they were very messy. I tried Vagifem tablets and they never dissolved properly (probably because I was so dry). Then my doctor suggested Imvexxy 10 mcg. It's a small softgel, so it dissolves easily. It's not messy at all. I used it for 14 days initially, and now I use it just twice a week to maintain. It works amazingly well. I feel back to my old self again. No more pain or burning, no more UTIs or recurring yeast infections, no more pain with intercourse. It does leave a little hint of pink on my pantyliner on the days I use it (it's a pink softgel). But it's a light baby pink color (not like blood), and I know it's just from the softgel. I buy single-use, disposable vaginal applicators (small capsule size) from Amazon to insert as I don't like using my fingers."

Vagifem (estradiol) "Use of Vagifem to address bladder frequency has caused significant irritation, itchiness and rawness around the vaginal area as well as thick white discharge. I have discontinued it and am attempting to treat these symptoms which have progressed to the urethra. Very discouraging as many women find it very helpful for post menopausal conditions ."
