Diclofenac for Pain "Voltaren 75 mg for knee inflammation. Stay away! This drug nearly killed me! I am an overall healthy 39-year-old male. Side effects: bloody diarrhea, tarry stool, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, faint, lightheaded, dizzy, racing heart, passed out and fell twice (gastric bleed)! I believe I was on the verge of a heart attack. I cannot believe this drug is still available! No relief whatsoever."

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "Hip pain due to arthritis plus cartilage is nil due to use, and the joint is worn out at 64 years old. Surgery prescribed. Meanwhile, hurts plenty and loss of balance when pain strikes like a knife mid-stride. Taken one diclofenac 100mg. 7 am single dose, 7 pm I still feel great and am less dependent upon a cane. Use this only when I feel very sore, tight, grinding hip joint, sharp pain. Feels as though I have glass marbles in a sock for a joint. Makes a noise loud enough for my husband to hear if I move the wrong way. Relief seems to be within a couple hours and is lasting all day. I take no other medication for arthritis."

Diclofenac for Back Pain "This medicine is very good for those who can take it. At first, it worked very well for me. By the third refill, I had developed an extreme allergy to this drug. The first sign was extreme itching and severe sweating with dizziness. If this happens, go to the hospital quickly and stop taking the drug. When this started, doctors can't always determine it quickly enough, as in my case. The second time wasn't as severe, but by the third time when my reactions started, I knew. So please don't take it again if you get these reactions. But I do highly recommend this drug for those able to use it."

For Osteoarthritis "Diclofenac really helped with my arthritic hip pain and heel spur pain the first two weeks, but I had to stop taking it because it caused dizziness, nausea, nightmares, insomnia, irritability, headaches, pressure in ears, muscle weakness, fatigue, decreased urine output, worse joint pains when worn off, liver pain."

For Frozen Shoulder "I had a frozen shoulder with unbelievable pain. Nothing helped, Voltaren made me dizzy. I was beside myself because I couldn't do anything. Until one smart Dr. gave me a shot right in the joint of cortisone. It hurt going in, but within seconds, it started working. Left the surgery on cloud nine. That was 15 years ago, and still no problem. Good luck."

For Pain "I started taking diclofenac after meloxicam wasn’t working. I have had numerous heart tests, but I always have pain in and around the chest and arms. Neck pain and finger pain. It seemed to help for a day or two, then the chest pain and arm pain, and pain under the sternum are pretty rough. Dizziness too. Has anyone ever experienced this? It’s been quite frightening. Thank you."

Diclofenac for Migraine "Cambia works perfectly for me. I get zero side effects from it, so I take it at the first sign of aura or pain because there's no side effect trade-off. But even when I haven't been able to take it at onset, it still works for me. If taken hours in, it sometimes doesn't remove all pain, but I take another, and that one always takes the rest of the pain away. But since I don't get dizzy or drowsy, I keep it with me at all times and take it wherever I am. It's given me my life back. Sometimes my sensitivity to light and sound stays a bit. This isn't a side effect of the med, I think it's just that I still have a migraine in the background, with no pain. Maybe it's just post-migraine fog though, as it doesn't present right away. It's hours after. Tip: works best on an empty stomach. Wait to take it for 15-30 minutes if the stomach is full. Don't drink or eat anything for another 30 minutes while it's absorbing into your stomach lining."

Diclofenac for Period Pain "Since I got my period when I was 12 years old, I experience an unbearable pain that stops my life completely, accompanied by vomiting and diarrhea, and so many times went to hospital emergency. I may faint from pain, all the people around me know what I suffer in school, university, or at work. Voltaren ampoule worked well so far to the extent that I can give myself the injection in the butt like a boss. It makes me sleepy, and from the huge pain, I feel dizzy, headachy, and very tired, but it's better than the pain for sure. I wish there would be no side effects in the long run. I'm 26 years old now."

For Pain "Using this since last week for (diagnosis not 100% sure) a quite bad case of iliopsoas tendonitis, groin joint pain, bursitis trochanterica? Sitting down for a couple of hours caused major stings in my groin, hip, and the upper joint of the iliopsoas. Symptoms started about 18 months ago when I had been squatting and deadlifting heavy weights for a couple of years. Took little rest because it was my passion. I only stopped when the pain got so intense that it scared me. Been doing therapy at a sports therapist for 5 months, having little effect. Taking 150mg daily diclofenac since last week allowed me to live relatively pain-free for the past 3 days, for the first time in months, amazing! I'm being careful and still doing the therapy, praying to the gods that it will actually heal and I will be able to sit/walk/jump again like a healthy 27 y/o guy. Side effects are nausea and dizziness."

Diclofenac for Migraine "I don’t know what type of sadist thought that aniseed and menthol were the flavor that people suffering from a migraine want to taste. I had one sip of this and had to run to the toilet to vomit because it was so awful. The only time I was able to stomach it was when I was so stuffed up I had absolutely no taste and had run out of all my other options. It did help bring down the pain of my migraine, but it left me completely feeling out of it and dizzy. I prefer taking Maxalt (which I find just as effective) as I can actually keep it down."

Diclofenac for Migraine "Although no medication completely rids my migraines (I get stroke-like symptoms with my migraines) aura with numbness on the right or left side - depending on the side of pain, dizziness, and off balance. It's absolutely horrible! But when I take Cambia right away, it relieves the killer pain! I still get my warning signs, but the migraine passes much more quickly with this medication! It does tend to make me feel a little weird - my nerves feel oversensitive. But I got a migraine around 8 a.m. today and took Cambia! And on my way to work at 12:30 p.m.! Miracle!"

For Pain "I take diclofenac for chronic back pain. I take one diclofenac every 12 hours, and it is very effective. I had mild dizziness and an upset stomach early in treatment, but I now have no side effects at all. When my back gets bad, I still take muscle relaxers, narcotic pain relievers, and chiropractic treatment (when I can afford it), but diclofenac helps me manage things so as to reduce the need for stronger medicines."

For Back Pain "I'm taking this for back pain - it does help some. I take it for back pain consecutively, for three days then as needed. It does have a lot of scary side effects, and I do get dizzy, heart flutter, diarrhea, and stomach problems, but it's the only pill that works best for my pain. I'm scared in the long run to what problems this medication will cause."

Diclofenac for Pain "I have been dealing with extreme pain in my hip and groin area. I took one pill but never again. I first experienced drowsiness, which isn't anything to worry about until I started to not feel right in my head. It lasted for about 20 minutes. Then, as I was standing in the kitchen making dinner, I developed extreme nausea for about 5 minutes. This led to a rush shooting straight to my head, and on came a dizzy spell that lasted for about 20 seconds. Followed by a partial blackout for a split second, vision came back, and I went to sit down. Moments later, I was perfectly okay. Well, besides feeling freaked out, of course. I would never recommend this medicine to anyone."

Diclofenac for Migraine "Woke up with a migraine with an aura this morning. I took Cambia straight away with breakfast. It worked about halfway, but now I’m feeling dizzy and tired with lingering head pain. I use heavy equipment for work and will have to take the day off, unfortunately."

Diclofenac for Period Pain "Usually I take 2 tablets of Panadol, and it works in 30 minutes, but this time I tried 2 tablets of Cataflam 50 mg, and it SUCKS!!! It’s been an hour, the pain is incredibly intense, and I have dizziness and nausea because of it. I’m only feeling worse!!"

Diclofenac for Migraine "Have suffered from migraines for the past 10 years. I’m always interested to try new medications. Personally, I found Cambia to be one of the worst. I found little to no relief. The taste is horrid, especially when your taste buds are heightened and extra sensitive. I experienced the worst side effects, which included diarrhea, dizziness, anxiety, and nausea for days."

Diclofenac for Period Pain "I have very bad pain during my periods. I can't stand straight without a Cataflam. I used to take paracetamol during periods when I was very young. But still, I had to deal with the rest of the uneasiness like muscle cramps and bad back pain. No words. I have tried taking the most commonly taken medicine - Mettal Spas as well, but I felt a bigger difference with Cataflam and I always prefer Cataflam (diclofenac potassium) over any medicine. But don't take more than 1 tablet in an hour. I took a 2nd dose one time within 30-60 mins and I ended up feeling very difficult (which I never expected), very bad dizziness, and there was a complete unexplained heart attack-like effect and sweating where I got so frightened thinking what is happening. (I normally don't panic, but I did that day.)"
