"30 years old, had ADD my whole life and never tried anything for it, except for an Adderall XR 30mg once for studying and an Adderall 30mg tab for studying as well (XR kept me focused and tab didn't work). I just ended my first 5.5 hour dexamphetamine high and highly recommend it! Things that normally bothered me, like sounds (I also have S4) or my kids misbehaving didn't bother me at all. The background emotions that would constantly distract me under stress were gone. I was focused, calm, felt a bit high/numb and thirsty. I must have drank a gallon of water and peed 4 times. It kicked in about 40 minutes after taking it and lasted about 5.5 hours. Gradual onset and gradual come-off. Got a lot of studying done and retained the info."

"Amazing medication that should be doctors FIRST CHOICE in prescribing a person with ADHD. I have been on every prescription under the sun, from Ritalin to Adderall, Vyvance, Concerta. They all had HORRIBLE side effects causing me high anxiety & I also suffer from PTSD so you can image struggle. I'm a mother of 3 kids, work part time, & own a successful business. Without Dexedrine I doubt I'd be as successful. It's a miracle drug."

"Diagnosed with Inattentive/Hyperactive ADHD at the age of 27, and this was the first medication I tried. My whole life, I have been a stressed out, burnt out, insatiable over-achiever. One month in and I feel a genuine sense of calm for the first time in my whole life. No more impending sense of doom, and my anxiety/depression has almost disappeared. The absence of the inner rage demon at the smallest sound or sensory discomfort has really made a huge difference to my day-to-day life. The strangest side effect is that my taste in music has changed, and now I favor soft/slow jazz/classical, and my screen time has significantly reduced. I used to need CONSTANT stimulus (TV, Social Media, video games, high-sugar foods, 'achievement' etc.) just to get through the day, and now I just do not need or want these things anymore. I find myself content sitting with myself and being present, which pre-medication felt more like a torment than a moment of peace."

"Prior to beginning taking two 30 mg Zenzedi a day, my life consisted of a boring monotonous and down right annoying daily drudgery, which some refer to as work..... However, now, four months later, I'm buying a house, I have a better job in the same field which I absolutely love, I'm beginning to budget my money, and daily I plan for the future. Rather than living paycheck to paycheck and seeing no end in sight, I now have a fool proof plan to pay my bills on time and have enough left over to unashamedly spend on nonessentials. In short, my life has taken a turn for the best since starting this medication. Prior to this I never believed that any pharmaceutical could help anyone at all, but now, I see that I was just young and foolish."

Zenzedi (dextroamphetamine) "I would rather not take any medicine at all than take this med. it made me feel awful. Achy all over, headache, blurred vision, no energy. Numbness in hands and feet. I wouldn't recommend it. It didn't help me focus or stay awake. In fact I just wanted to lay down it made my head hurt so bad."

Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) "I have ADHD as well as binge eating. This helps me to not make impulsive decisions and I really can think a lot clearer. It really does increase the dopamine because I no longer have that intense urge to eat junk food and buy nice clothes. I can just focus better and I am not procrastinating everything. I used to procrastinate basic tasks like showering or brushing my teeth. It feels so good knowing I'm not lazy but just neurodivergent. And I'm so grateful for this medication. I'm on 10mg twice a day."

Zenzedi (dextroamphetamine) "Over the past 10 years I have been on a variety of different medications to help treat my ADHD. These include Adderall (which was my go-to until recently), Vyvanse, Ritalin, Focalin and Adzenys. I never loved any of them but out of that list I found Adderall the most tolerable. Recently I read online about Zenzedi and asked my doctor if I could try it. It was a bit of a hassle to find a pharmacy that carried it, but I eventually got a supply for a month. I am so glad I did. This is by far the most effective and side effect free of any / all of the ADHD medicines I have tried. It gives me the focus and motivation headspace that Adderall provides without the amped up, heart pacing feeling that makes me uncomfortable and anxious. Also, unlike Vyvanse it doesn’t last forever so I have better control over how to time my 2 doses during the day. Overall, an excellent medication!"

Zenzedi (dextroamphetamine) "I have ADHD, formerly known as ADD. It wasn’t caught until I was about 19 years old, around the same time my mom was diagnosed with it as well. Turns out that it is usually hereditary, and is related to Neuro degenerative conditions and can actually progress into things like fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s and even Alzheimer’s. I have fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue syndrome, narcolepsy, suspected multiple sclerosis but insurance won’t pay for the test, and even now getting symptoms of Parkinson’s. There are only four ingredients in this formulation. They are also free of lactose and gluten, with no generic company will guarantee. I am lactose intolerant and celiac, so the generic medications would make me very sick. These have far fewer side effects and are almost as good as the original dexedrine tablets. I can’t put my finger on what exactly is missing, but they are very very close to being as effective."

Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) "This is AMAZING!!! I don't think I've ever felt this good. Dexedrine makes me feel completely calm, clear-headed, and motivated. I used to be so tired and foggy-brained, and many days were lost to 'recovering' from, well, life. Now I feel like I can do anything I want. I can hardly believe it. I tried Ritalin first and found it to be rubbish - it gave me headaches, insomnia, and mild anxiety, and seemed very unpredictable in terms of effects too. Dexedrine is nothing like that. I have zero side effects - except for some interference with my period. I highly, highly recommend this miracle medication."

Zenzedi (dextroamphetamine) "I hadn't concentrated in 2 years. Zenzedi stopped that. I went through the runaround with popular pharmacies which, 75% prescribe Aurabindo or Teva, and cannot get Zenzedi. I found it at a grocery chain after some calling. The other pharmacies won't sell it because it costs more. I take 15mg three times; now I can think, and no side effects. This is longer acting than I thought, you just can't up the dosage and get better effects, it has to be gradual. And your not craving to increase it after some time like most people think. There's no reason to change it, and it wasn't much more than the fake ones either. After some searching, a grocery chain had it, for just a bit over the fake generics. IT worked, twice as effective. Now I can wake up to a normal day. It is the only or one of a few that are real and authentic. There's no going back, Mallinckrodt is the only generic manufacturer that tries to get it right, if I couldn't get Zenzedi."

"I have taken Dexedrine for many years, at least 20 years. It is the only medication that has helped me live a normal life. I would be anxious and not functional if I had to start with trial doses of other medications, especially when I know this one works. Please do not remove this medication!!!"

Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) "Well this medication has worked VERY well for my ADHD! It helps me concentrate and makes my mood overall more lifted! I Notice energy and a desire to do work and complete tasks instead of being a lazy couch potato like before. Side effects: Anxiety, Depersonlization and Derealization on this medication sometimes makes you feel like a robot! And heart rate goes up also! But it worked much better than Adderall. Adderall gave me bad anxiety and higher heart rate! Much stronger and more positive mood from Dexedrine. "

"miracle drug for me, with a few downsides, but positives outweigh negatives by a long shot. I was chronically tired, no motivation, lazy, and not very social.also had a short temper, anxiety, trouble concentrating and connecting with people. When I take this it reverses all of those. I become productive, talkative, happy, relaxed—with energy at the same time, an incredible amount of mental/physical energy, and more control over my emotions. I've been taking it for close to a year now after switching from adderall because of the tweaky side effects. This stuff makes me feel great plain and simple, and hasn't changed after a year.downfalls: physical dependence. A day without it is terrible. And I love to drink but not good to drink on it"

"46yo female, suffered from severe ADHD since age 3. Strong family history, many generations of ADHD sufferers. Tried many stimulants & alternative choices. Ritalin and (methylphenidate based meds) turned me into zombie. Brain was mush, struggled to stay awake, uncontrollable sleepiness. My dosage was adjusted many times thru the years, side effects not caused by too high/low of dose. Other stimulants like Adderall & Vyvanse were ineffective, not too mention increased anxiety with Adderall. Its been 2yrs since my psych doctor rx'd Dexedrine spansules 15mg x 2 morning with 10mg IR afternoon. Its been amazing, I feel (normal) for the 1st time. Have no side effects."

Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) "It sort of worked for me. I have been using Dexedrine 20 mg prescribed in two 10 mg pills. Before that, 15 mg one pill. Before that, one 10 mg pill. A problem I've had is with how my body metabolizes it. Rather than a smooth and consistent maintenance of focus, I experience peaks and valleys of it. It takes effect after 45 min, then it lasts for about 1-2 hours before I get incredibly sleepy for 1-2 hours, then it takes effect again, then I get sleepy again, then it takes effect again. I've talked with my psyche and with the 20 mg split I take the first dose, then the second 10 mg dose 45 minutes later and this has mostly, but not completely, solved the issue. Also, (consistent with all of the stimulant medications I've tried though) is that it stops having any effect after about 3-4 days of usage straight. So I need to calculate for a day or two where I can't take the medication in order to allow for it to work later. Side effects: dry mouth, less hunger, nervousness"

Zenzedi (dextroamphetamine) "For ADHD a timer really helps. 10 minutes applied efforts towards study. 3 minutes of something entirely different. In education, classes change on the hour and so should the subject material. Math problems, (starting simple), then maybe Art Crossword, Architecture, Photography. Music; playing an instrument or editing. Memorizing a new phrase in Mandarin or German This enables different parts of the brain to integrate."

Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) "As the title states, I had very high hopes for this medication as I have responded very well to name brand (Shire) Adderall XR in the past. The difference between name brand and generic Adderall is the combination ratio of dextro to levo. Name brand is 75:25 in favor of dextro and generic is closer to 50:50. This caused me to believe I respond to name brand and not generic do to the dextro content. If you guys don't know, Dexedrine is 100% dextroamphetamine which made me think I stumbled into a gold mine after being off Adderall for 2 years do to the fact they don't sell name brand where I live. Long story short, I took my first dose a few hours ago, and it does not have any effect. The dose I took is 15mg which is the equivalent amount of dextro found in a 20mg Adderall which I was prescribed in the past and worked so well. I gave it a 3 because even though it is not an effective medication, I am not feeling any negative side effects at the moment."

Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) "I'm taking pharmacy technician courses right now and I don't know how I could do it without Dexedrine. The course is compressed and there is a tonne of information to take in a short time. I can often tell if I've missed a dose, or it's near time for my noon dose, because I will just plain zone out. Docs tried me on Wellbutrin and Concerta, and those did nothing, so Dexedrine seems the way to go! Really depends on the individual though."

Xelstrym (dextroamphetamine) "I would give the medication an even higher rating; however, I have one problem, and that is the dose of a single 18mg patch does not produce any noticeable effect on my ADHD. However, two 18mg patches applied at the same time have a very, very good effect without a single noticeable side effect. No jitters, no bruxism, no peaks and valleys at all. However, the pharmacy is fighting with my doctor and refusing to fill his prescription for two patches instead of one patch. This is unfortunate because I have required high doses of all previous ADHD medications-- I simply metabolize them at an extremely high pace and have developed a tolerance after twenty-five years of taking my stimulant medication daily. Before Xelstrym, I was taking two 30mg Daytrana patches, which I am glad I am no longer taking. Daytrana patches are very large and become loose at the slightest increase in body temperature and even slight sweating. Xelstrym patches can be worn while working out at the gym or swimming."

I can tell that my focus is starting to get better and I notice that when I do certain chores around the house I do them to such depths and extremes. "

"This is the only stimulate that doesn't put me to sleep. I've tried all the other common stimulates. I've have adult ADHD. and I really like the long acting capsules better than the tablets, I only take it once and I have continued concentration instead of remembering to take my next dose after 4 hours. Highly recommended if all other stimulates have failed."

"I have taken amphetamine salts for years and it worked, the pharmacists switched to dextroamphetamine and it does not work. As if I took nothing. My doctor said take it up with the pharmacy and they will do nothing. I will never take it again as a waste of money as I paid cash and unemployed without prescription insurance."

Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) "Extremely beneficial and helpful to this day. Not only does it actually help me focus therefore lowering my level anxiety I get so much more done and I quite frankly do not notice unpleasant effects when it wears off. Fringe benefit is that it does suppress my appetite and tend to overeat."

"For me it's smoother than Adderall XR, less of the jitters/jumpy. Been on it for a while, and it's the best I've come across. (Desoxyn made me feel tired/yawn, Adderall gave me jitters and suppressed appetite too much, Ritalin was just bad). At first just like Adderall you will experience some back pain and need to drink extra glasses of water for cotton-mouth, but after that.. It's more normal. I've also found to some extent taking a magnesium supplement helps to keep the potency alive. As with all of the ADD meds the potency tends to fade."
