For Birth Control "Holy no. I do NOT recommend this birth control medication. I've been on it for three months now, and I've experienced: bloating, breakthrough bleeding (heavy), headaches, moodiness (anger), crying, increase of Tourette's tics, anxiety, 7/10 lower back pain, weight gain, increase in desire for all things sugar :( And the blister pack itself is terrible! I've never had such a difficult pack to use. I wouldn't recommend this medication whatsoever."

For Birth Control "I have been taking this BC for almost 4 months now, and it's been amazing for me. I see a lot of negativity, but everyone is different. I had been previously on several different BC pills, plus before on the Depo shot, and with all the others, I had so many issues: breakthrough bleeding, acne, depression, anxiety, loss of energy, libido, and focus, foggy type feeling. On the last birth control I took, I had severe bleeding for 3 weeks, which caused me to almost pass out several times. As soon as I finished the first pack of Viorele, my symptoms cleared up. I haven't had any issues with this pill except a little acne and gaining some cup size, but I actually lost weight with this pill, which is amazing because with all the others it was impossible. I started taking BC after I had my son and was having 3-month-long periods. This BC has regulated my periods so much, and I have increased energy, focus, and libido."

For Birth Control "I have been taking Viorele for 6 months. Everything was great up until this last month. About 2 weeks into the new pack and I had breakthrough bleeding. I haven't missed a pill ever. I thought I was pregnant, took tests negative. Went to doctors for a test, also negative. I don't want to switch again so I'm hoping this was a one-time occurrence, but it's lasted several days now, and I am not happy with it. I don't know if they changed components in it since they changed their packaging and such. Hopefully, this is not what happened as it was doing fine before."

For Birth Control "I take Azurette and have no side effects other than breakthrough bleeding two days into a pack. My pharmacy just switched my birth control to Viorele and I decided to give it a try. The first week I had increased facial acne. Week two of the pack brought excessive emotions and gas buildup. My stomach is skinny fit looking. By lunchtime, I felt disgusting, I was burping a lot, and if you looked at my stomach, I looked as if I was pregnant and starting to show. Yesterday was the first day of the third week. Same bloating. That night, I was miserable. I looked in the mirror and I literally looked pregnant. I laid in bed on my side and brought my knees to my chest. After a minute, I felt the gas buildup release and could literally feel it move through my intestines. Today I refused to take it. No gas buildup. No bloating. I am so relaxed. I would not recommend it to anyone. I am taking my pack with me to my doctor to talk about my reactions to make sure I'm never on it again."

For Birth Control "I dealt with constant bleeding for 2 years. All day, every day. Non-stop for 2 years. I was prescribed Viorele after having a horrible experience with Levora. For about 3 months, I was skeptical because my period never regulated itself, but I did have times where the bleeding stopped. However, I'd have 2-week-long periods, and they'd be HEAVY. My gynecologist insisted I keep taking it to get my body used to it. Here I am, 9 months later, and though my period is still not regulated, I have been 3 months without any bleeding. I have mild spotting about 5 days a month, but I am SO grateful for this pill. I am no longer worried about having to buy a box of tampons all the time because of constant bleeding. And also, importantly, I'm not pregnant, lol. I have had no other adverse effects. Also, my acne has cleared up 100%."

For Birth Control "I was prescribed this by my OBGYN for heavy bleeding. The first week it lightened my period. Then the breakthrough bleeding was a little annoying and sometimes heavy. The second month my period came. It was ultra heavy. Blood was just gushing out of control. I had huge blood clots for a whole week. I was bleeding so bad I passed out. I lost so much blood I could not go to work. I was already anemic. I had to go to the emergency room for a blood transfusion. This is the worst birth control ever. It is dangerous too."

For Birth Control "My GYN prescribed this for endo. Experienced depression, irritability, significant hair loss, acne (never had before), dry skin, and weight gain. Had breakthrough bleeding after about 2 months, then extremely heavy bleeding (two ultra tampons soaked in minutes at times) for ten days with a tennis ball-size clot around day 3. GYN at that point said to stop taking and prescribed meds to stop the bleeding. The worst one yet."

For Birth Control "Do yourself a favor and avoid this one. I’ve tried about 10 different pills over the last 6 years, and this was by far the worst. While this helped my skin and helped me lose a little weight, I was on my period for 3 out of the 4 weeks for four months, with heavy bleeding the entire time. My doctor was hoping my body would adjust, but it never did. I also had excruciating cramps and some of the worst migraines of my life about once a month on this. I’ve heard the other generics of Mircette, such as Karina and Azurette, are much better, ask your doctor about them before you try this."

For Birth Control "I was on this pill for a few years with no issues whatsoever. I could miss 2-3 pills in a row (definitely not recommended) and start back up with no abnormal bleeding or spotting whatsoever. I know everybody is different, but the last 8 months or so have been awful for me. I've been checked out by my OB and have no underlying conditions either, but I've been spotting for a week to a week and a half prior to my period, and if I miss a pill now (even just 1), I have breakthrough bleeding up until the start of my next period. Needless to say, I'm changing pills now."

For Birth Control "Love it, no mood swings, and I've even lost some weight, and no breakthrough bleeding. Super happy with this birth control."
