For Migraine "I was first prescribed Flexeril in 1994 and have been in love with it ever since. I suffer from recurring migraines and bad sinus headaches. My doctor at the time tried many different remedies, but the combination of 10 mg of Flexeril along with 500 mg of Naproxen has been a '100%' effective result since I first took it. I only take it when I am at home, though, because the Flexeril makes me very sleepy. FYI: body size doesn't matter to this little pill as I'm 6'4" and 230 lbs!"

For Muscle Spasm "Stay away from this garbage. I was stupid enough to try it for 3 days, 10 mg before bedtime. All those days, I was like a zombie. Dry mouth. Crazy dreams. Constant nausea. Stomach stabbing pain. No energy at all. Sleepy during the day and crazy at night. I don't know who's writing positive reviews, maybe pharma people, lol. Do your research. Stay away from this drug!"

For Sciatica "Brand Name works great. Does the job and not even noticeable to myself that I've taken it. It will make me sleepy once I lay down, but fully functional on this medication until then. I've taken this drug since 1992. Unfortunately, can NOT find this medicine in Brand Name."

For Migraine "I have used Flexeril for back pain but took one the other night because I had a migraine and couldn't sleep. I've never had relief from any migraine, so I was amazed when, after about 2 1/2 hours, I got out of bed and felt OK to move around. After another hour or two, I was feeling drowsy, so I ended up going to bed, but I was happy to discover that Flexeril helped my migraine. It does make me VERY sleepy, so I only take it when I don't have much to do the next day. I usually feel lethargic the day after."

For Muscle Spasm "So I recently slept wrong and thought I had a stiff neck that it would go away. I was wrong. Three days later, it got worse and worse that I couldn't move my head down or to the right or upward. I was prescribed 10 mg twice a day, but I just took it once a day with naproxen, an anti-inflammatory. Plus, I rubbed Vicks on the area, which my Puerto Rican mother swears works wonders, lol. Yes, it makes you super sleepy, but it was a great sleep, no complaints. And in 24 hours and 48 hours later, I can do my PT exercises without pain, and I feel great about 70% improvement. I still have to continue to stretch and massage the area. This is helping. Everyone responds differently, though."

"I took the brand name pill a few times over the years for muscle spasms. 10 mg and only one at night. They worked. I now have a pinched nerve in my neck, and the pain is excruciating, into my shoulder, arm, and hand. My doctor prescribed 5 mg three times a day. I have taken three, not on consecutive nights. They do nothing for the pain, they do make me sleepy, but I keep jerking awake, it feels like I stop breathing. Still not sure why they were prescribed, but the pain is so bad, I was willing to try anything. I think maybe they work best for a muscular injury."

For Muscle Spasm "I took Flexeril because I had been feeling intense back muscle pain. I was told that it would make me sleepy and feel relaxed. I took it at 9:00 PM thinking it was going to kick in quickly! I was wrong, 15 minutes later, nothing! So I made dinner, went online, then out of nowhere my neck felt heavy, like I couldn't hold my head up, and I stumbled to my bed. I saw the clock, and it showed 11:00ish. I slept like a baby! Woke up feeling great the next day, well rested, and my back felt better."
