For Acne "I started getting acne after I turned 40, hormonal cystic acne on the chin. I was skeptical that anything would work. Within 2 weeks on clindamycin with tretinoin, I saw a difference. Yes, it will get worse before it gets better, and it does burn and dry the skin at first, but hang in there because the results are amazing. Living with acne affects your self-esteem at any age. At 45, I would have people point and ask what happened to my face. Now, I get so many compliments on how youthful I look and how clear my complexion is. You don't need to use a lot, but make sure you cleanse well before (I use micellar water). Then I follow up with CeraVe lotion. I can't tell you how this has changed my life. I always touch my chin in amazement."

For Acne "I am 18 years old and started to get occasional deep under-the-skin pimples, as well as tiny bumps around my face. I have been using this stuff for about 3 1/2 months now, and I am so glad I stuck with it. In the beginning, I wanted to give up, it was awful. Your skin is super dry and peeling and burns occasionally, but you have to wait it out! I have never been so confident with my skin, and once I hit that 3-ish month mark, my skin has only been getting better. Don't give up, this stuff really works!!"

Clindamycin / tretinoin topical for Acne "The medication had severely dried up my skin. It is constantly peeling. Everything I do to it burns it so bad I want to cry. I can’t even touch around my under eyes. It helped clear up my acne decently fast. I’m going to keep using it, but I hope the side effects go away SOON."

Clindamycin / tretinoin topical for Acne "I've used this medicine for about a week along with a prescribed antibiotic. I have noticed that it has significantly cleared up. But it's making my face look sunburnt without being in the sun too much. My neck also recently just got really red from halfway up. Overall, it's been decent: peeling, redness, and occasional burning. But so far, I like the results."

For Acne "I have had acne for about 7 years now, and my doctor recently put me on a combination of topical creams 'clindamycin' & 'Differin' & a prescription of benzoyl peroxide face wash, along with an antibiotic 'doxycycline.' I suffer from whiteheads and blackheads more than pimples. I've been on the combination of medications for 2 weeks now, and I've noticed a huge change. My blackheads are disappearing, and my skin is becoming smooth. Only the negative thing is it's causing bad dry skin and a slight burn to my face, so I cut the face wash benzoyl peroxide down to every other day, and the burning is going away. I highly recommend this treatment."

For Acne "I’m a 22-year-old female, and I’ve never had bad skin until this year. All of a sudden, I got horrible skin-cystic acne all over my face and chest in November. I’m not sure from what, but having to wear masks hasn’t helped. I have been on the same birth control for years, and I eat very clean. Yet my skin is the worst it’s ever been. I started using Biacna topical gel prescribed by my doctor, and I’ve been using it for 2 weeks now. I’m SO HAPPY. My skin isn’t forming any new pimples or acne, all I have left are old ones that are healing. My skin looks and feels awesome. I would recommend trying it since it’s not too expensive and super easy to apply. Also, note that at first your skin may get worse before getting better, and your skin gets dry while using it (mine also kind of burned at first), but after 2 weeks my skin has gotten used to the gel."

For Acne "This is the only thing that fixed my skin after years of trying many different medications. I've been using it for around 3 months now, and the results are amazing and have worked quicker than any other medications I have tried. When you first start using it, your skin will be incredibly dry and peeling, and many of the skincare products and makeup I used that worked really well for me burned my skin and were very painful. But once you get past that, which probably will take around a month, you will start to see the results, and the burning will stop. My skin is basically fully clear, although I am on birth control on top to help with my acne. I wish I had tried this product sooner, as it's so amazing, but it definitely takes persistence if you want good results, so push through the initial dryness and burning."

Clindamycin / tretinoin topical for Acne "I've been using this product for about a year, but started to apply it from once a day to every other day to stopping the treatment altogether because it irritated my skin so much that it started peeling and burning around my mouth and nose, then started to spread to my cheeks. It was noticeably red with makeup on and altogether looks terrible. It eventually made my acne from horrible to worse to okay to awful. I don’t recommend this product to people with very sensitive skin."

For Acne "I’m 18 years old and have severe back and chest acne and moderate face acne. I have used this product for about two weeks, and I must say that the acne on my face has calmed down and is nearly gone, but it is getting worse on my chest and back. My chest and face are peeling and burning, and whenever I touch the dry areas, it stings. My back is not peeling yet but is getting worse. I will continue to use this in hopes it might get better, but I’m very unhappy with the dryness. I have to apply moisturizer five times a day, and even then, I still peel and sting!"

Clindamycin / tretinoin topical for Acne "Absolutely horrible. After using for only two days, my skin feels like it is on fire constantly. It literally feels like my skin is burning off of my face. This was after only two small applications to my face."

Clindamycin / tretinoin topical for Acne "I started using this, and it was fine until my face one morning started burning really bad, my face was bright red! When I tried to wash it off, my face started stinging and burning so bad I could have cried."

Clindamycin / tretinoin topical for Acne "This product works amazingly well. I've been using it for just a few weeks. I had strange oily cysts growing from underneath my skin and erupting at the surface. This gel stopped it in about 1-2 days, which allowed my skin to finally heal from that trauma caused by the cysts. It's a powerful medication, so common sense is needed when using it. Think of it as an exfoliant on steroids. A normal exfoliant helps you to shed dead skin at a slow rate. This gel, however, will cause massive peeling after about 1 week's use. My dermatologist recommended this regimen: wash with Cetaphil, pat dry, apply the gel, and follow up with the Cetaphil moisturizer. Only apply the gel at night since exposure to the sun is to be avoided when you have it on. When the peeling becomes too excessive for me, I stop and only apply the gel to the areas that were affected. If I do not, it will literally burn my skin on other areas of the face which looked just fine. So you have to use common sense."
