"I was very surprised when I took this medicine. I took it at 9 PM, and by 9:30, I was in bed sleeping. It's a high-power pill, and I rested all night. It's a good pill besides the fact that I woke up the next morning and barely could get up and get dressed for work because I was still sleepy from the pill. It finally wore off at about 10 AM. It helped me a lot. I was told by a friend to take it for pain, and I'm glad I got it."

"Initially started taking Tylenol PM for ongoing knee and foot pain (I’m a dancer) 6 months ago. Very quickly became a nightly ritual to take one (occasionally 2) and fall asleep within 20 mins and stay asleep for 8+ hrs. The downside - blurred vision (especially in the morning), troubling memory loss (my kids were growing concerned about me not remembering conversations), anxiety and depression (bursting into tears frequently and for no reason). I went ‘cold turkey’ 6 days ago and am already starting to feel better after a couple of sleepless nights. I will NEVER touch this stuff again. It’s easy to see how this drug has been linked to dementia. Please don’t be tempted to use it."

"I was told about this medicine about 10 years ago. At the time, I could only find the original strength and quickly found out that I could not take it during the day because it knocks me out and I would be sleeping. It is the only medicine that will take away the pain I am having. I had knee surgery twice in a year, and the prescription pain medicine I had took away some pain, but with the Percogesic, the rest of the pain went away and I got to sleep. I tried the maximum strength last year for the first time and discovered that it didn't make me sleep... actually hyped me up. I discovered it was different than the original strength by having an antihistamine in which I am sensitive to. So now I can take it during the day. It's the best!"

"I had a very painful tooth abscess that was not relieved with the popular OTC medicines. A pharmacy technician recommended Percogesic, and I felt relief within 30 minutes. Pain relief lasted longer as well, so I had to take it less often. The only negative was a minor side effect: dry mouth."

"This product is not well known. I had to introduce it to my sister. She was taking Advil PM, and it made her angry, anxious. I took her off Advil PM and got her on Midol PM. A few days later, she called me and shared the same thing I experienced. Calm, well rested, relaxed, and not as angry as before. I love this product. I hate the fact that it took me so long to find it. It needs to be marketed more. Black women like me have issues with our periods. Bad cramps and insomnia plague us. A product that focuses on treating these problems without the side effects is Godsend. I take just two pills at night when I am PMSing and during my period, and I wake up like a new woman."

"Out of the vast amounts of different medicines I've taken over the years (most of which have been medicines prescribed by my physicians for severe pain, insomnia, and other chronic issues), this OTC medication is the very best for a number of conditions. I've had migraines for most of my life, but am allergic to prescription drugs for migraines. I've found that Percogesic is ideal for many problems. I have always had a high tolerance for medicines that could sedate a large farm animal, yet it is next to impossible to sedate me. Percogesic, however, has sedative properties, unlike so-called 'migraine' medicines like Excedrin Migraine. The active ingredient in Excedrin is caffeine, which is the last thing I want when I'm trying to escape pain."

"I have taken this medication for pain in my foot due to gout. Nothing else I bought over the counter worked. I read the bottle and decided to try it. It eased my pain more than I ever thought an over-the-counter medicine could. The only thing to be aware of is it makes you sleepy and drowsy. But it works!"

"I usually take Aleve PM for my bruised rib. My friend, a former nurse, said to use Tylenol PM so you don't get stomach bleeding. So I brought some last night. OMG, I was scratching all night, and in the morning, I felt very dizzy and disoriented. Don't know why I reacted that way, but I will never take it again. Thank you, God, that I didn't fall."

"The best for back pain, cramps. It does make you sleepy, so don't drive. Helps you sleep when you're in pain. I have been taking it for years. LOVE IT!"

"If you're not having severe cramps, it takes most of the edge off. Severe, go with a prescribed medicine made for this."
