I was taking Teva .5 mg back in 2012 then was switched to Qualitest who’s was kinda weak then to Actavis but now I am going back on Teva due to Actavis being indefinitely discontinued after Teva’s acquisition of Actavis pharmaceuticals. Wondering if anyone currently takes the Teva clonazepam and what do you think of it has it changed. Does it work well and how does it compare to other generics.
Is TEVA brand clonazepam still a good brand?

Hi, you all, since the 80's I 've been on Teva. Even in prison, which is when I received them. I still get Teva brand. I'm not sure they will disappear. All this talk and I still receive them. I could be wrong, yet hope I am not. You have to treat e everything is not true on the internet. I also heard that any meds using USP after them are high quality. Goggle USP and you will get your information. Best of luck to us all. Love you wildcat! You are very noticeable.
Teva brand clonazepam for 8 years(4mg per day) for seizures. Per call to Teva, they bought out Activas and Teva said they are using Activas formula now. So No, Just got Teva brand after they said they quit making it. It was a sugar pill, had a bad reaction. Weird from one month to the next of no problems then bad reaction. The lady at the CVS pharmacy showed me the medication (said TEVA greed pill 833) before I got it. Looked like TEVA but had a bad reaction to it. 1st time that happened in over 8 years. Just because it looks the same doesn't mean it is the same. Had the same reaction to another brand Accord. Somethings up.
Accord is better than, those other brands. Those other brands don’t help me at all. With accord- my anxiety returned. Mylan was the worst! I am just happy it’s discontinued! It was probably the same if, I didn’t take anything- both with my catapres & clonazepam... since, I have been on Actavis this month my panic has calmed again.
Many may not agree, but I find the Accord brand to be OK. Better than Mylan or Qualitest.
I agree 100%. For me Accord works the best. A while back my pharmacy switched to Teva and I hated them. I found them weak, short acting and generally ineffective. Accord are supplied by a small NJ based company with a growing portfolio but I couldn't find any references to China concerning their manufacturing. I now ask my pharmacy to order Accord for me. To each his own I guess.
I find the whole thing strange as I am a firm believer in generics and this is only the second time this has happened to me. The other was a Percocet 10/325 generic called Endocet. It was about 50% as effective as all of the other generics I used, which was probably 6 or 7 over 3 years. They also gave me a wicked headache that had me taking Excedrin regularly. Lastly they gave me terrible heartburn which made me take 2000 - 3000mg of Tums every 3 or 4 hours despite being on 40mg Omeprazole.
Sorry for the tangent I just wanted to get across the point that for me different generics are usually not a problem and 1 of the 2 I do have goes against about 98% of everyone else's favorite.
Weird.

The Teva brand is the only one I can take. I take 1 mg 2 to 2 1/2 a day , I never take the whole Amount. Why because they work, I was on some blue ones a couple months ago, was told that Teva was not going to make them anymore. I was sick , I know what works and no other brand does I was taking more then I usually do because I felt like I was not taking anything! So is it actavis that is being phased out please tell me it’s so. I think you will be ok taking the Teva I think it’s the fillers they use in the others that effects me. Teva brand is hard I break them in 1/2 n it’s hard the other brand I was taking seemed to disintegrate in my hands trying to break them. Good luck let me know how they work for you. I am a happy camper I can still get my Teva brand.
The Teva brand has been discontinued. Teva is only supplying the Actavis brand at this time.
Did you find a replacement for Teva? I’m getting my last refill of Teva in 5 days and need to find whatever comes close to it, I have tried accord which was horrible, qualitiest which was still pretty bad but how about now? Will activate work? Teva said that it’s the same exact formula as TEVA 883
I am still at the moment able to get the Teva brand. I do not know for how long. The accord brand are horrible. It brings back memories of having to take 2 different benzos in order to get relief .. but once I was on Teva I was able to cut out the other benzo (Tranxene) . I have no idea how the qualitest works never tried it. I have no clue why they would want to change ... if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. If they are the same make up n are the same ... why change names etc , I call BS ... keep me informed how you make out. As I will post if and when things change for me also !!
Yeah I got 150 Teva saved up so I just need to know what comes close to Teva
I felt the same way
I have been taking Teva brand since 1989 and just in the past year or year and a half my drug store started substituting and I can tell a big difference. I'm more aggitated and anxious. Where can you get Teva brand?

Hi, how did you make out with Activis ?
I couldn't take it, it made me feel horrible.
Made my heart beat fast, and I couldn't sleep at all.
I take 1mg clonazepam now in the oral form.
You put 1 pill in your mouth and let it dissolve.
Its made by Teva Usa ..
I like it so far.
I'm so tired of going back and forth because of this manufacturer is no longer available.
But I truly like Teva ...
Yes I am on teva 1 mg as needed up to three a day. I agree that for me teva has been the one I prefer. Activis seemed ok also. But that happened to me a few years back where the pharmacy didn't have teva in stock and gave me accord. Absolute garbage did not work. So I have a DNS on my prescription for Teva. So far I haven't ran in to problems as long as I use an independent/compound pharmacy. Some chian places say they only stock what the stock. Most independent pharmacys will order from there supplier the manufacturer you need if they can get it. But so far I haven't ran into a problem for a few years.
In my quest to find a generic that works, I was prescribed .5mg/day of 1 generic, and since that didn’t work so well, was prescribed 2 msg/day of a different generic. The pharmacist noted to me ‘your dosage has been increased’.
Both prescriptions still have refills. I have one script for .5 and another for 2 mgs. Can I fill both prescriptions or is that a no-no since I was technically given a dose increase?
I think your best bet is to talk to the pharmacist. I think it depends on the pharmacy as well as the insurance company.
I Someone mentioned the possibility of getting the brand name KLONOPIN. I thought about doing the same thing for my wife’s 2mg Clonazepam so I asked our pharmacist for a quote. He told me that he could get the brand name, but that it would cost $450.00. My wife’s RX is for 3 1/2 2mg tablets per day. The even worse news is that if the FDA keeps allowing this Chinese garbage like Accord to be imported, we may have no choice but to buy the brand name if we want to get the same effects from our medications. This problem isn’t limited to benzodiazepines, it is across the board including pain meds. I’m writing my Senators here in SC and asking them to start an investigation into this situation. I hope everyone reading this will do the same. We are all in this together.
I was on 0.5mg Teva brand for many years and was able to get approval for the name brand (Genentech label; K cut in the middle). I actually had a problem with the name brand though, since it caused bad gastrointestinal pain. I have now switched to the Actavis brand (pink, R33 pill) and it works well except it makes me quite tired in the am. So, I am sticking with Actavis for now. Note, you can get the Actavis brand, but the script needs to say "Actavis brand necessary". If it says "Teva brand necessary", they will not give it to you (the bottles are labeled Actavis).
I'm going to be honest Teva completely sucks I noticed the brands that have more of a density to their pills and aren't as much of a chalky like substance for example Mylan Teva and a couple god-awful other garbage brands are much more effective I always felt more of a relaxing property with the activi brand the yellow 1 mg with an R on it... it was smooth and wasn't a chalky like pill like the teva and Mylan brands are and every time I would take one I would feel really relaxed and almost a wavy like relaxation Buzz... i don't get that completely with the sandoz but I by far believe sandoz is the next best to actavis brand.
I have taken Teva, but of course no more once my last is gone. Then have to beg pharmacies here to order Actavis. (Glad I am moving.)
My medical condition is cervical dystonia, and though gabapentin was my miracle pill (Teva and now CIPLA), I definitely have to have clonazepam and only in a mix such as the original, as with gaba. Teva the very best. Mylan a few times and it was quite good.
I have hopes and prayers for Actavis, if I live long enough to ever get to try it.
Moral of story... generics are sometimes a blessing, other times a curse.
I'm in the actavis right now and it's pure junk. Everyone is different, but I have it. I would say it's about 25% as strong, and that's being generous! I am desperately trying to figure out what to do. I have two small children who need their Mommy to be able to function.
Interesting that you have GI upset from the brand. I do only slightly, nothing like Teva. Constant diarrhea, period like cramps and sniffling from allergies. Anxious to try Actavis, but only if a pharmacy has some left can it be obtained. Unfortunately just after buying a month's supply of the brand 1 mg (quantity 30) for $93 I learned that 60 were left of Actavis, but I couldn't get them for a month. Would like to know if you have allergic side effects.
Well this, it was from 2018 it is now 2021 and I have Teva 2 mg Brand. So many people were complaining about it that they reinstated their formula and put it back on the market so I hope you’re aware of that because it is available because I get Teva and it doesn’t say active us so I’m not sure where you’re from but I’m from upstate New York not near New York City nowhere near and I get Teva
Teva is by FAR the best generic Klonopin. They are however getting harder to find as many people are figuring this fact out. I would always suggest asking your pharmacist to order them for you ahead of time just to be safe. Nothing worse than getting stuck with meds that do little to nothing. I was recently stuck with Actavis for a month after taking the Teva brand for years. The difference was night and day.
Teva is no longer manufacturing Clonazepam. in 2014 Teva acquired Actavis pharmaceuticals and will now be marketing the Actavis only. I have been on the Actavis for several years. To me it works good I was on Qualitest/Solco and my panic attacks were constantly breaking through, I have not had this problem with the Actavis.
I just got put on Actavis after they discontinued Teva and less than a week in and it's a huge difference. I feel groggy and jittery on the Actavis. Do you think these are side effects and they will dissipate or did you find that Actavis never worked and if so, what did you do?
I’m on 8 days from Teva .5 twice a day and then .25 at night. I got the the Activus and started to feel panic and muscle cramps and old anxiety triggers 7 days in. Went to DR and talked this psychiatrist and it seems Activus is only giving 80% of clonazepam. So they increased my dose to 1.75 a day. I’m trying that. I also took a .25 odt last night when the panic attacked started and stopped it. Good luck to you. It is definitely not Teva. I also take Adderall everyday and that helps get through this transition.
I've been on Actavis since 2011. My doctor helped with the 20% reduction back then by increasing my script which made the medication perfectly like Klonopin. However, since Teva acquired Activis, I received a lot this month where the dosage of medication was decreased by at least 50%! Teva is known for doing that to medications it acquires. I almost died. My doctor has had to double my script from 3 pills a day to 6 pills a day to get me out of withdrawal and I don't know yet if that will be enough. Teva ruined Actavis with this extreme dosage reduction. You need to be alert to the time you may receive Teva's bad Actavis. You may also want to alert your doctor. The bad lots are coming out now as Teva is beginning to release them. July 2018.
Yep my last refill is in 5 days from today with Teva, have you found a almost exact quality out of another generic name?
When, switching from one generic or actual brand to another- you most likely will feel different. Some are more sensitive than, others. The side effects should dissipate after, you body adjusts to it’s compounds/additives difference. Even though, Teva & Actavis are partner companies they will differ like all pharma companies. I have to say that Actavis has helped me most since, the discontinuation of Teva. They gave me accord where I felt my panic come back. Actavis, I felt significant relief by the second day. I am just happy I no longer have to to fight not to have Mylan! I took mylan for a week or so a year ago- I went into withdrawal & had to have a new script called in for Teva... if, Actavis didn’t help relieve my symptoms- I was going to pay for brand.
All I can say is everyone is different all medications and brands/generics help people in different ways- If, your symptoms/side effects haven’t approved next refill request a different generic until, you have found one that agrees with you.
I hope you have found relief-Take care!
Alright so activate works for you since Teva is gone?
Yes, Actavis has helped. I am feeling better as I have been much calmer. I haven’t had side effects nor returned anxiety as I did with accord. I will be sticking with Actavis. Teva was the only brand that helped most & without side effects. I felt it also released in my system evenly & lasted longer for me personally. I feel Actavis is most equivalent to Teva (so far)... I am sticking with Actavis for sure. Many people aren’t as sensitive & don’t notice a difference in one generic/brand to another. I am one of that small percentage that is very sensitive to benzodiazepine withdrawal & additive/compound changes. Actavis has been the only generic I can take for my BP med/catapres. It’s a great generic brand.
Yeah accord put me into panic mode for A year I could take 3mg and it wouldn’t equal 1mg of Teva, but I got 150 Tevas so I’ll give activas a try, because there is a huge difference in Teva and accord brand
I am now on Activis from Teva for a month and it's getting better. It has taken time though and I've gone through some serious panic attacks, depression, stomach issues but I seem to coming out on the other side. I increased the dosage though. i was only taking .25mg a day but now I take .375, basically a .5 mg pill cut into four and I take 3 quarters now instead of 2 as it seems less potent. good luck. it's no fun but you will make it.
I definitely had withdrawal-like symptoms after I switched to Actavis (for about 1 month), but they have mostly gone away. What I have noticed between the 2 (Actavis vs Teva 0.5mg):
- Actavis requires about 25% more to get the same effect
- Actavis gives me more foggy brain
- Actavis is shorter-acting (I have to take a lower dose more often)
However, it is far better than other generics out there.
I talked to TEVA today and the consultant said that the 1mg are available. Just sent out the order to all distributors last week. The .5 mg will available not long after. Just no dat on the release yet.
If it made me feel that way, I'd have to ask DR to Rx trial doses of others.
Or... pay for the original. Was it Roche...
You probably know by now that TEVA Clonazepam is being discontinued. I am looking for a replacement that acts a lot like TEVA. Did Actavis work as well as Teva? Thanks.
My experience has brought up a few things to consider. Although I have recently asked my doctor to switch me to alprazolam as my new benzodiazepine of choice as I have experience with this benzodiapine and find it to be bio-equal to each other in potency (Clonazepam & Alprazolam Respectfully)I have always enjoyed clonazepam. Clonazepam definitely has a muscle relaxing property that alprazolam lacks and it’s endurance (half life) is far superior. To answer your question, my experience has shown me that Actavis & Sandoz going forward will be the best generic forms of Clonazepam as close to the TEVA Generic or Klonopin (Name Brand). I have taken the TEVA generic far before they even printed the TEVA logo on their actual clonazepam. For example, 1mg green Teva generics used to be printed 93 833/other side simply scored, and I remember people thinking the older Pressed Teva’s were more potent then the newer print with the actual TEVA logo on them.
I did not notice a difference and still find TEVA to be better than ROCHE on this very day. With all this being said ACTAVIS/TEVA, considering they don’t change the ACTAVIS inactive ingredients (Which they might, but would impractical, and may even checked on their site right now) would be my next go to after Sandoz for generic clonazepam moving forward. Actavis uses almost the exact same inactive ingredients as ROCHE does for their clonazepam. I would consider them to be very much like the ROCHE K-Cuts from experience. Ranking for me with clonazepam goes as follows at this current moment.
1) TEVA (unfortunately discontinued)(get them while you can)
2)Sandoz/Actavis/Roche
- this order would change to Roche/Sandoz/Actavis if you do not pay extra for name brand with your current health insurance.
- I find Sandoz makes an extremely clean clonazepam that gives the closest expectations of the discontinued TEVA Generic.
-I find Roche name brand Klonopin to be equally matched with Actavis (current formula) which is saying a lot. Also doesn’t surprise me as their inactive ingredients are almost identical.
Although I have experience with many other generics, those would not even be in the conversation for me personally as none of those generics even came close to these above named generics or even the name brand itself. Master List in all MGs
1. Teva (discontinued)
2. Sandoz
3. Roche (Klonopin Name Brand)
4. Actavis
The list cuts off here for me. Every other generic past this does not meet my standards for legitimate clonazepam minus the few companies I’ve never tried respectfully.
Have you found a replacement for Teva? I’m getting my last script in 5 days :(
Have you tried Kmart pharmacy? I have gotten the blue, the green & now the yellow 1mg clonazepam.
I’m switching to activas the teva wafers work but they only last about an hour, so activas is my only hope, I couldn’t think it is much different since it has all inactive ingredients but one so I’ll know Tom

Not for me. I have been having withdrawals and I am taking the medication as prescribed. The Teva worked great for me for the last 5 years. The change is awful. They say they aren't making it but when I was in the hospital that is the pill they gave me. The light green Teva so how do the hospitals have it but we can't get it.
Teva Pharmaceuticals still makes the best generic clonazepam on the market in all mg’s. I have been taking clonazepam for over 10 years. I have taken Roche Brand Klonopin, Actavis, Sandoz, qualities, accord, Mylan and ironically, I find Teva clonazepam to be my favorite made clonazepam. Brand Name was a beautifully pressed and worked wonderfully, but Teva lasts longest for me personally with an even release throughout. Actavis was okay, Sandoz is the brand I switch to from time to time when I feel I’m becoming tolerant on Teva, Qualitest is horrible but people love the speed in which it dissolves under the to tongue. Accord is not my favorite at all but their .5mgs I was handed the other day kinda worked. I’d say mylan, accord, and Actavis are my least favorite. Teva & Sandoz, are my favorite for clonazepam. Greenstone & Sandoz for Xanax. Watson/Dan & Teva for Diazepam. Watson for Ativan. Ascend/Mallonkrodt for Temazepam. Greenstone/Sandoz for Xanax XR. I currently take 2mg of Klonopin 3 times a day
So I found out today from the manufacturer that TEVA clonazepam has been obsoleted. It is going to be replaced by Actavis brand now owned by TEVA. It will launch mid June . I have been on the Actavis for several years now and it works very well not sure if anyone can chime in on the effectiveness of the .5 mg yellow TEVA .
Hello all,
I have been happily taking .25 mg TEVA clonazepam for a long time. I recently heard that TEVA is no longer making the generic and it worked SO well for me. Mylan literally is worse than taking nothing.
I can’t tell if I should get my new script filled for brand name Klonopin or try Actavis. Does anyone know if there is any good generic clonazepam equivalent to TEVA? Will Actavis have the same formulation as TEVA?
TEVA being discontinued is a seriously major loss for me & I’m not sure if a chain pharmacy will even fill brand name klonopin order... HELP!!!

I have been taking Actavis for years and can tell you it is very good. I find myself with the opposite problem right now the pharmacy can only get yellow Teva until the warehouse runs out. And no one has the Actavis yet because it was just released.
Thanks for the reply regarding Actavis. I’m getting nervous because I’m currently using PAR (Endo) clonazepam and am a bit scattered. TEVA basically made me feel like a pretty good version of myself and it’s a real loss for me.
I doubt that the new Actavis is the same formulation as the old yellow .5mg TEVA. My next step is to pay a bit more and try brand name Klonopin via mail order. I’ve tried TEVA (loved it); Mylan (hated it) and Endo/Par (mid range so/so). I’m hoping I can figure out a solution
TEVA completed their aquisition of Actavis in Aug. 2016.
Oddly enough it was announced approximately a month or so after the big recall of generic Adderall IR manufactured by Actavis in June-July 2016. TEVA is in debt up to their asses and it's reflected in the rapid decline of quality in a variety of their generic drugs. Most of the generics distributed in the US are made in foreign countries with little to no monitoring or regulating by the FDA. Once the patent expires with the original manufacturer of a generic drug, any company that wishes to produce it can do so. The scary part is that these companies get the approval from the FDA for their version of the particular generic drug based solely on their "internal testing" and data that THEY provide to the FDA. This is why their is such a huge variances and inconsistencies in the generic drugs on the US market. Sadly they are becoming more and more subpar to the name brands.
Generic drugs are more cost effective because they eliminate the quality assurance testing standards by the FDA and US Gov't. All in the name of $.
Teva & Actavis are partner pharmaceutical companies. Mylan- was the WORST! I actually, went into withdrawal on mylan... Teva was always the one to help manage my panic best. Since, it has been discontinued I was given accord - My anxiety came back but- it was better than, nothing at all... I called my pharmacy to switch generic brand and was given Actavis it helps a lot better than, accord for sure! I will be sticking with Actavis from now own.
Teva owns Actavis. They bought Actavis in 2016.
I have always had tremendous results with my green Klonopin (Teva), same dosage for over 10 years, now discontinued. I have found the yellow Teva to be totally useless. I’m shopping around for new Klonopin.
Found the yellow Teva to be useless. Take an Advil instead.
Well, TEVA and Mylan are no more! As if I don't have too many battles going on, local pharmacies have Accord and it is a nightmare that causes you to HAVE nightmares.
Actavis? No pharmacy here will bother to get it for me... or tell me what it costs. Help help help. I have cervical dystonia.
When and how did u get Ur hands on all these makes?
Is there any way that we can all get together and SIGN A PETITION for TEVA to bring its old formulation back?
I love TEVA clonazepam and worry seriously about what I’m gonna do when I run out
I have been on Teva for over a decade, with only a handful of times, receiving any other brand. I got actavis this last month and it's pure junk. I don't feel like anything is going to ever compare to the tevas. Ib am devastated as this is drastically affecting my life. I'm all in for us writing a petition!!! I don't know what to do!
My clonazepam brand was switched from ODT Par Pharmaceuticals to ODT Barr (Teva). I simply do not feel the same. I feel worse. Is anyone else experiencing this as well?
I'm all for a petition, the TEVA brand was the only one that made me feel normal. I got a decent job and started not being terrified all the dang time.
I slept maybe a biiiiit too much? But I'd give anything for that back now, Ive slept maybe 10 hours the past week. Actavis made me sick, I reported it to TEVA and the FDA, it put me into withdrawals. Solco makes me sick to my stomach, Teva brand wafers make my brain feel like the TEVA pill, but I had an allergic reaction and didnt sleep a wink on them.
I'm going to try for a small supply of the name brand and hope that if they work I can get an exception from my insurance company.
I currently CANNOT work, and may lose my job and almost lost my life to this dang switch
Is Sandoz as good as Teva?
I had to switch to diazepam after I tried every generic possible for clonazepam. I was recently in the hospital for syncope I was given DAN instead of Teva diazepam and at a lower dose it helped more than the full dose from Teva. I didn’t ever have issues with anything from Teva. I was switched to Teva clonazepam ODT after, I was medically cleared from my syncope episodes. I wanted to safely get off the physical dependence and I felt like myself again while I was given Teva clonazepam ODT. I had terrible withdrawal from being discontinued so quickly. I am back on diazepam. I have written Teva as they have told me they still manufacture their formula for ODT. I may ask to change back to clonazepam since Teva diazepam doesn’t help as much as clonazepam had. I don’t hyperventilate while taking it but if I miss one dose I feel panic that is not normal!
My favorite as well hands down. Until a few months ago I wasn’t feeling well & realized soon after that I had been given Accord(it’s Specifically listed on my account where I go for years now that TEVA no matter what this is the brand and I am to be given notice if not.) Never had a problem, they gave them to me didn’t tell me anything and I cannot find them anywhere. Basically I feel like crap and it literally feels like I’m taking half the amount and it doesn’t last AT ALL. I’m realizing maybe that’s why I’ve been feeling so since horrible around Sept.
Same thing w/ my Adderall..something’s up b/c I didn’t evn check b/c some made me feel sick & felt like a brand i tried the 1st time yrs ago & immediately had to go Into my doctor and talk to him about it and was told about different brands & how they can vary widely..so fixed & and never had a problem until September but looked & it says Teva so ok... thn soon after I had to dump thm out & noticed a lot of differences just to the eye. Also that Teva is buying out other companies so this is just getting started for me because I have been going through hell for six months plus now. Half my Adderall were the same as always thn around half were the same to the quick naked eye... except with a upside down imprint(which not one has ever had that..but I didn’t even look until I felt so sick/nausea/tired etc. & pain... it’s like I took nothing that was something but ick..I’ve started bringing it too everyone’s attention and I’m not stopping. Are you or anyone having issues. I’m on here b/c I can’t find Teva anywhere except accord which idk if it’s part of them now? Thn that’s dreadful enough today I finally got help frm the pharmacy manager who literally took the time to help with the Adderall on Fri..I just noticed my Clonazepam is NOR..& I can’t find anything about it. I Don’t know if this is going on here or on to the post I saw either way thank you and possibly sorry but this needs comes to peoples attention and we all need to be calling our DOCTORS, PHARMACIST,(your whole city)& the DEA, & of definitely these drug companies. I haven’t had any issues in so long thn sick or just useless for many months? FYI im doing the best I’ve ever done in my life. It’s on. #WRONG&NOTOK!
TEVA old formula clonazepam is coming back in 4 months! We did it! I just got a call from a rep in Ambler, PA. TEVA is back!
call your pharmacy's & tell the Pharmasist to call TEVA about the Green Pill with the number 833 on it. To bring it back call: TEVA 1-800-545-8800 go to option 3 then 5. another number for TEVA is 1-888-838-2872. Call TEVA your self too. Every call counts!
Tell your Pharmacy to call TEVA at 1-800-545-8800 go to option 3 then 5. And by all means call TEVA yourself. There is another number at 1-888-838-2872. Every single call help's.
Can you share what you may know about the best (or only) efficacious generic for librium?
DID make. My ONLY two, for same disorder, WERE Teva. They quit making both yrs ago.
I have dystonia. 20 yrs of Teva for both gabapentin and clonazepam never a problem. Pharmacy switch of generics and I was in physical misery. Nothing as good as Teva
Almost a year ago I switched to Diazepam (generic Valium) after having horrible withdrawal symptoms when Actavis, Accord etc started making clonazepam. I would not trust going back to clonazepam.
My local small pharmacy keeps Teva in stock per my request. Their standard refill is made by Accord and I have had to return my prescription to get the Teva brand when they fill incorrectly. I requested no Rx made in China. Although, I think the 0.5mg Teva is based in India.(?) I’ve done well on the yellow Teva, but only one I’ve used now for 7 months. I use them during the day for anxiety. Usually need .0375mg to 0.5mg/day in small doses. I sleep well at night with mirtazapine. Wish this anxiety wouldn’t happen but, it is still occurring. MDD has improved but I’m stuck with anxiety. I never wanted to be dependent on a substance, but with severe anxiety one doesn’t have much of a choice if somewhat “normalcy” is the goal.
