Just wondering if anyone else has had this experience. It is not listed as a side effect but this product also increases the number of bowel movements each day.
Does sucralfate show up in your bowel movements as a coating of slimey junk?

Hi smallcitygirl,
I took sucralfate and it does give the bowel movement a creamy whitish coating, if this is what you are referring to. Because it coats the stomach and then moves through your lower GI tract, the result is that coating being expelled and yes, more frequent stools.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,

Thank you. Just started taking this stuff and it seems to help with discomfort. Hopefully don't have to take it forever.
