... lower dose can I cut the pill in four pieces and take one of the pieces until I am able to get my meds been out of my meds for awhile now and have started to hallucinate and feeling overwhelmed
I am on risperidone 1mg I ran out of my meds but I have some 4mg that I use to take before doctor?

You can get a pill cutter for a couple of dollars at walmart for future use. Can use it to cut half pills as well. Just don't cut time released or open capsules . Risperdal can be cut.

Tonya; Yes this tablet is not timed release so it would be fine to cut it into 4 pieces as close to it as you can but also just cut one tablet at a time. It is easier if you cut it in the middle first, Then cut the 2 halves into 2 as close as you can.And you well be fine this well get you by until you can get your prescription filled.Good luck to you
