You say that you were taking an over the counter cold and cough medication and that might have Sudafed. That is one of the key components to making Methamphetamine and it is found in certain cold medicine or allergy medication
Phenylephrine – Can Cause False Positives For Amphetamines
Was the cvs brand a night time medicine? Or was its Sudafed ? I hope I spelled that correctly that's why my doc always tells me let me know when u take any over the counter cold medicine or even Benadryl

I have asthma and I definitely know that the Pro Air Albuterol will show up as amphetamine on a drug test.
Trazodone for some reason shows up as a false positive for amphetamine. Wait 7 days after discontinuing the trazodone and retake the test.
