I used to be prescribed 2mg of Xanax Bars. What's the equivalence dosage for Buspirone, or around about anyway?
How many MG of Buspirone is equivalent to 2 MG Xanax?

They are different drugs altogether. They are not even in the same family so there is no way to compare one to the other. The recommended initial dose for Buspar is 15 mg daily (7.5 mg b.i.d.). To achieve an optimal therapeutic response, at intervals of 2 to 3 days the dosage may be increased 5 mg per day, as needed. The maximum daily dosage should not exceed 60 mg per day. In clinical trials allowing dose titration, divided doses of 20 mg to 30 mg per day were commonly employed.
Yeah buspar is totally different than Xanax. I know sometimes doctors give you the impression buspar works like Xanax, it doesn't. I was told they worked the same, but totally false information.
You cannot compare the two. Its not the same. Buspirone is taken daily to prevent anxiety, while xanax is taken to get rid of anxiety. There is no other medication like buspirone.
