What is the main differences between Rexulti and Abilify? Why would you chose one over the other?

Thank you!! They seem really similar. Curious why doc would prescribe one over another. Have you been on both? I’m looking for less weight gain!!

I was on Abilify 15mgs. for 2 years, this one covers broader spectrum of mental conditions than Rexulti.
Having said that I do spinning at home, (have a bike) and I am very strict with my diet which is hypocaloric.
I know take both Seroquel (Quetiapine) and Zyprexa (Olanzapine), and it is hard to keep the pounds off, but one has to be willing to make sacrifices with regards to controlling oneself with food intake, although these type of medications slow down your metabolism. I do 90 minutes of spinning everyday, and as I mentioned before, lean meats and tons of salads, it can be done, just got to find your own formula (everyone is different), found mine more than a decade again.
