I have been taking Cymbalta for over a year and have had an increasing urge to smoke pot while on it. Has this happened to anyone else? I told my doctor and he stated the obvious - that I should stop smoking - that it was unhealthy,etc.. but I am still curious if there is some connection there. I notice on Cymbalta I feel emotionally flat. When I smoke pot I feel more in touch with my feelings then normal. Please provide me with your experience.
I am stopping Cymbalta now - hopefully the urge to smoke pot will go away with it.
Does anyone know the impact of smoking Marijuana with Cymbalta?

Hi hshugrue,
I'm wondering how you're doing now that you stopped taking Cymbalta? I've been taking it for over a yr & I also have had marijuana cravings.
I'd read several articles that pot helped with fibromyalgia pain so I wanted to try it to see if it did work.
Hope to hear back from you.
Thanks
