I have suffered with hemoroides for years, with swelling, discomfort and mucous discharge on a daily basis. Recently i was prescribed Naproxen for a an inflamed cartilage, and since taking it my hemoroides have been completely cured.
Hi
Just curious how long it took to be on naproxen and hemorrhoids to be cured?
It is a shame that no one has answered this question sooner, but Naproxen can irritate hemorrhoids, especially if you take too much of it. Maybe your hemorrhoids don't bother you, but I suspect if you asked the question, they do. therefore, unless the benefits outweigh the risks of bleeding, and pain, I would avoid it, along with any NSAID.
I realize this answer is very, very late ... but may help someone in future.
Yes, you can take naproxen if you have hemorrhoids, unless the hemorrhoids are bleeding badly.
