... not an option. I've been using Kiss My Face sensitive, as if I hurry, I can add water to the sonic before it gets too bad. Then I read that it has carcinogens . Now what?

I have been using Duraphet 5000 Toothpaste. Think it is more to protect my teeth. Any comments.
Thanks Mike.
I have BMS and Baking soda helps me a lot. I use baking soda three times a day but other than the pain relief it does not cure the BMS.
I have recently tried Laser treatment and I had a great relief from it when done in a small area of the mouth. Half of my mouth is red and the Surgeon has done the Laser on me yesterday in the remaining area so I have to see the result in few weeks. Laser is a new treatment in the U K for BMS. My mouth started getting sore few years ago and am suffering with it since then. But Baking soda is my retreat when it gets very painful.
I also have BMS. I did use powder baking soda out of the box that you purchase in grocery store to brush my teeth because it was soothing to the burning. I didn't use the baking soda toothpaste due to all the additives. However, I started developing thrush & recurrent thrush. I told my doctor and she told me to stop using the baking soda entirely. She said the baking soda is very alkalizing and thrush thrives in an alkaline environment. I am certain I've tried most every Natural toothpaste product made from every Health food store but never found any that didn't make the burning worse. After all this I asked my dentist if he had any suggestions and he did. This is not a pain reliever toothpaste but for me it has been the only one that brings some soothing comfort. It was specifically designed to soothe gum tissues and is the only one I will use. It does have aloe, folic acid and some zinc i it. I purchase it online.
It's called Oxyfresh, Dental Gel, Super Relief Formula. The company makes various other dental products but this is the one my dentist suggested and works for me. We are all different but I found that for me the Biotene burned. I avoid floss and any dental products that have mint, cinnamon, or other flavors as they are irritating for me. Hope this helps. I know how painful gum tissue can be with this BMS.
