... cramp and very slight spotting after the removal. Was that normal?. I am no longer on any birth control, should I be worried about getting pregnant. Seriously, pregnancy at 57 is pretty unusual. If the coil was a hormonal variety rather than the toxic copper ones, you are probably adjusting to different hormone levels. I'm not sure at all how birth control would effect a post-menopausal woman.
