Warnings
Treated animals must not be slaughtered for use in food for at least: broiler chickens - 7 days, swine - 5 days, turkeys and calves - 10 days after the latest treatment with this drug. This product must not be used in laying birds. When handling the product, avoid inhalation, oral exposure and direct contact with skin or eyes.DESCRIPTION: Neo-Chlor® contains two antibiotics: Neomycin and tetracycline. The first one is known for its action against E. coli and other bacteria in the digestive system and the second one is a broad-spectrum antibiotic readily absorbed from the digestive tract for activity throughout the body.
INDICATIONS: Chickens and turkeys: As an aid in the treatment of infectious diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to tetracycline and neomycin such as chronic respiratory disease (CRD), bluecomb, synovitis and enteritis.
Swine and calves: As an aid in the treatment of respiratory diseases and bacterial enteritis (scours) caused by microorganisms sensitive to tetracycline and neomycin.
Dosage and Administration
To reduce the development of antimicrobial resistance and maintain effectiveness, use this antibiotic prudently.Chickens and turkeys:
100 g, 10 kg: Dissolve 100 or 200 g (1 or 2 pouches) of powder in 225 L of drinking water and administer for 3 to 5 days.
400 g: Dissolve 400 or 800 g (1 or 2 pouches) in 900 L of drinking water and administer for 3 to 5 days.
For automatic proportioner: Set the apparatus to distribute 30 mL per 4 L of drinking water (1 oz/gallon U.S.). Prepare the stock solution by dissolving 400 or 800 g (1 or 2 pouches) in 6.75 L of water. This will medicate 900 L of drinking water.
Swine (scours):
100 g, 10 kg: Dissolve 2 g of powder in 170 mL of water per 45 kg of body weight and administer as a drench or dissolve 100 g (1 pouch) of powder in 225 L of drinking water and administer for 4 or 5 days.
400 g: Dissolve 2 g of powder in 170 mL of water per 45 kg of body weight and administer as a drench or dissolve 400 g (1 pouch) in 900 L of drinking water and administer for 4 or 5 days.
Newborn piglets (scours): Dissolve 4 g of powder to 60 mL of water and administer 5 mL of this solution to each piglet twice daily for 4 or 5 days.
Swine and newborn piglets (respiratory diseases):
100 g, 10 kg: Dissolve 4 g of powder in 170 mL of water for each 45 kg of body weight and administer as a drench or 200 g (2 pouches) of powder in 225 L of drinking water and administer for 4 or 5 days.
400 g: Dissolve 4 g of powder in 170 mL of water for each 45 kg of body weight and administer as a drench or dissolve 800 g (2 pouches) in 900 L of drinking water and administer for 4 or 5 days.

Herd treatment:
100 g, 10 kg: Dissolve 2 g of powder in 4.5 L of water or 100 g (1 pouch) of powder in 225 L of drinking water and administer for 4 or 5 days.
400 g: Dissolve 2 g of powder in 4.5 L of water or 400 g (1 pouch) in 900 L of drinking water and administer for 4 or 5 days.
Calves (respiratory diseases): Double the above dosage for 4 or 5 days.
NOTE: Fresh solutions should be prepared daily. The dosage is based on an average water intake. Care must be taken to ensure adequate water intake. 1 teaspoonful equals 4 g. The measuring cup contained herein (10 kg), when filled with a level quantity provides approximately 100 g of product.
STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store between 15°C and 25°C. Protect from moisture.
