Serious side effects of Jaypirca
Along with its needed effects, pirtobrutinib (the active ingredient contained in Jaypirca) may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

More common side effects
- black, tarry stools
- bleeding gums
- blood in the urine or stools
- body aches or pain
- chest pain or tightness
- cough
- ear congestion
- fever or chills
- loss of voice
- pale skin
- pinpoint red spots on the skin
- sneezing
- sore throat
- stuffy or runny nose
- swelling
- trouble breathing
- unusual bleeding or bruising
- unusual tiredness or weakness
Less common side effects
- confusion
- dizziness
- fainting
- fast or irregular heartbeat
- lightheadedness
- lower back or side pain
- painful or difficult urination
- persistent non-healing sore
- pink growth
- reddish patch or irritated area
- shiny bump
- ulcers, sores, or white spots in the mouth
- white, yellow, or waxy scar-like area

- burning, numbness, tingling, or painful sensations
- constipation
- cough
- diarrhea
- difficulty in moving
- joint pain
- large, flat, blue or purplish patches in the skin
- muscle or bone pain
- muscle stiffness
- nausea
- pain, swelling, or redness in the joints
- stomach pain
- unsteadiness or awkwardness
- weakness in the arms, hands, legs, or feet

General adverse events
The most common adverse reactions reported were decreased neutrophils, hemoglobin, platelets, and lymphocytes, as well as fatigue, musculoskeletal pain, bruising, diarrhea, edema, dyspnea, and pneumonia.[Ref]
