When is the best time of day to take Wegovy?
Wegovy (semaglutide) can be injected at any time of the day, but you should only inject it once a week. Choose a day of the week that works best for you to stay consistent with your Wegovy injections. You can inject Wegovy with or without food.
Wegovy contains the active ingredient semaglutide, and it is used together with diet and exercise for weight loss. It is FDA approved for certain people 12 years and older who have been identified as overweight and have a weight-related condition, or those who have been identified as obese.
Should I take Wegovy in the morning or at night?
It does not matter if you inject Wegovy in the morning or at night. There is not a specific time to inject Wegovy that would make it work better or help you lose weight faster. Choose a time that you will remember to take your injection on the same day every week. It is important to stay consistent with your injections so the amount of medication in your body remains stable.
