How many puffs are in Breztri Aerosphere inhaler?
Breztri Aerosphere comes in two inhaler sizes:
- 120 inhalations per canister
- 28 inhalations per canister
Each inhaler has a built-in dose counter that tracks the remaining puffs. The pointer in the dose indicator display moves after each use, counting down by one.
- When the pointer enters the yellow zone, it means the inhaler is running low, and you should order a refill.
- When the pointer reaches zero in the red zone, the inhaler should be discarded.
- The 120-puff inhaler should be discarded 3 months after being removed from its foil pouch.
- The 28-puff inhaler should be discarded 3 weeks after opening.

Important Notes:
Breztri Aerosphere is not used to treat sudden breathing symptoms of COPD. Make sure to have a rescue inhaler (a short-acting bronchodilator like albuterol) with you at all times to treat sudden symptoms. Contact your healthcare provider if your breathing symptoms are worsening during your treatment with Breztri Aerosphere or if you do not have a rescue inhaler.
How long does Breztri Aerosphere inhaler last?
The duration of your Breztri Aerosphere inhaler depends on its size and dosage regimen.
- 120-inhalation canister: Lasts about 1 month when used as prescribed (2 puffs twice daily).
- 28-inhalation canister: Lasts about 1 week when used as prescribed.
Even if you still have medication inside your inhaler, remember to throw it away after it has been 3 months for the 120-puff inhaler or 3 weeks for the 28-day inhaler since removing it from the foil pouch.
