Moderate Potential Hazard, Moderate plausibility.
Patients with baseline serum potassium over 5.0 mEq/L should not initiate treatment with finerenone. Patients undergoing treatment should have their serum potassium regularly monitored and should have dose adjustments based on their serum potassium concentration.
