"So far Rinvoq has worked well for me. I am still in the first 12 weeks of treatment and taking the 45 mg dosage. I noticed a difference almost immediately as it got rid of all the joint pain I was having. I have Crohn's and started with my first ever flare about a year and a half ago. 4 colorectal surgeries later, I am hoping Rinvoq will get things healed up. It's been a long and rough ride for my first ever flare. Wouldn't wish Crohn's on my worst enemy. I have noticed more body odor than is normal for me and some teeth staining. Not sure if they are related or not to the Rinvoq."

"I love this drug. I use it in combination with Stelara. It made me feel better in a few days at 15 mg... they upped it to 30 mg to help heal my skin cyst condition. Been in remission for 6 months with it now. No side effects. Highly recommend all you Chronies to try it!"

"Taking for just two weeks now after 3 other IV drugs failed. So far so good. No ill effects so far. So far, it seems to keep me in remission. Time will tell. I really like taking a daily pill vs an IV every 8 weeks."

"I have been taking this medicine for a year now after having my first Crohn's flare ever. It involved fistulas, infections, pain, 4 surgeries in 11 months, and 4 different medications. Just had a colonoscopy this week. The Gastroenterologist says there are absolutely no signs of Crohn's anymore. Not as in remission, but cured. I am skeptical, but I do feel much better since being on Rinvoq. When I was on Remicade, it made every joint in my body hurt. I felt like a 90-year-old woman. Praying it continues to work."

"I rate this a 5 in hopes that it works for you. I’ve been on it for 3 months. 1 month in, I felt horrible for two weeks, but then I started showing improvement and thought I was headed for remission. Now, at the 3-month mark, I’m in a bad flare again and have a terrible hemorrhoid. Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s working for me. I hope it works for you. P.S. I was on Humira for 5 years with no issue until it stopped working. Prior to that, I was on Remicade for several years in remission. Before that, I had a couple of surgeries (resection and fissure/fistula repair when I was younger) when I was on no maintenance medication."

"After taking Rinvoq for 3 months, there is a definite improvement in my overall condition. None of the expected side effects that I was warned about. Full remission. No more sudden bowel urgency. Healthy stools once a day, usually in the morning. If you are thinking of trying Rinvoq, make sure you get your Shingrix shot out of the way first, even if you've had only mild shingles in the past. If you have no heart or blood pressure issues, your specialist physician can practically guarantee you a full recovery and colon restored to its former glory. No Prednisone or any other drugs are needed for inflammation after taking this drug. Diet and exercise are very important."

"So far, I feel better with the Crohn’s. It has caused a decrease in libido and possible change in mood. Increased anxiety and depression since taking it. Not sure if that is linked. I have not experienced any other unwanted side effects. I have improved energy levels, and the Crohn’s feels under control."

"I am in my 8th week of the 45 mg dosage. With 3 days of starting Rinvoq, I could tell it was working. Since then, my condition has continued to improve. I am having regular bowel movements after 2 years of flares and trying several other drugs. I was also using prednisone to get me through. Now, I feel better overall, but somewhat more tired. I am experiencing the acne that others have written about, including on the top of my scalp. However, it is getting less noticeable. I do feel like I want to take showers more often. This is the only drug that has helped my Crohn's (besides prednisone), so I plan to keep taking it. I would rate it a winner."

"I am yet to start with Rinvoq. Been on Humira and then Stelara, really looking forward to less or no hospital stays on high doses of corticosteroids, etc. When flaring. Time to get my Crohn's into remission again. I will update once I start treatment."

"Not all that happy. Even if it works on healing the ulcerations, the side effects (of which I have many) aren't good. And kind of scary for me."
