"I'm a 67-year-old female and weighed 365 lbs when I began Mounjaro. In just under a year, I've lost 85 lbs. I'm now on the 10 mg dose. I only wish Medicare covered it because I don't know how much longer I can afford the $1,036 a month I pay out of pocket. The good news is that I now qualify for knee replacement surgery. I have struggled with obesity my whole life, and Mounjaro has been a godsend for me."

"Awesome medication! Started end of Sep 2024 for weight loss. Straight away I noticed that my food noise was gone, sugar cravings were gone, and I felt more motivated and had more energy. I have started yoga and regular exercise for the first time in ages. So far down from 92 kg to 85 kg. Not many side effects at all. Very happy Australia 5 mg vial PCOS non-diabetic 47 female."

"It's like someone flicked a switch and my food cravings and the need to completely eat every meal vanished. Coupled with not eating unhealthy food routinely and exercise, I lost over 50 lbs in 5 months. I am now on maintenance of 5 mg. Side effects include, from month 3, feeling cold far more often and more like an inner chill than just my skin. From month 6 (recent weeks), I have been experiencing itchiness and a mild rash on my upper torso and back. The weight loss has been remarkable, and the side effects minor given the greater health benefits of the weight loss."

"The medication did help. I started in September 2024, dosage 2.5 Mounjaro. After 4 weeks, I noticed itching bumps that lasted 2 days after the injection. I told my doctor, and she decided this was not good. As of November 2024, she will no longer prescribe because of this side effect. I explained it was not a problem for me, but she will not prescribe, said I was allergic to it? It was good while it lasted. Not sure what to do now."

"Started Mounjaro 2.5 mg a month ago and have lost 15 lbs. I have had no side effects. Very easy to use. Has helped me to reduce my calorie intake. My hunger has been suppressed. Just remember to drink lots of water. Definitely recommend."

"Prescribed for PCOS and weight loss. Best weight loss drug I have ever been on. No food noise at all, no sugar cravings, and I have started exercising for the first time in a year. Not much appetite, and rarely do I feel nausea, etc. I have lost about 4 kg in about 6 weeks fairly easily. I am eating better on this too, my body seems to want plant-based foods. I used to crave sugar every single day, but on this I am not fussed by it, and when I do eat it, I think it’s out of habit, not because I want it. Tried Saxenda before and lost 10 kg, but I was sick a lot on it. Ozempic made me constipated. This has been the best by far. It is expensive here in Australia at $85 per week for a 5 mg vial, but it has been very worthy it."

"Amazing - not one side effect except all the good ones you want. I am microdosing 1/10 of the normal dose, 0.25 of 2.5 mg (tiny dose). And raising slowly. Sugars are more regulated, blood pressure is slightly lower too. No food noise was almost instant within 2 hours. Metallic taste in my mouth and a slight flutter through my body on a shot day. But otherwise, it calms after an hour. Appetite when truly hungry but no sugar cravings and can't overeat. A feeling of being satisfied all the time. Eating healthier overall and about entrée-sized portions and more protein. I feel great, even slightly like it has an antidepressant effect. Digestion is slower at times, but nothing some warm prune juice doesn't fix. Weight loss is about 1 kg a week. Honestly, my only regret was that I didn't start sooner due to fear of all the horror stories. But smaller microdoses and slower for people who are sensitive is the way to go."

"This drug was prescribed to me by my endocrinologist, and it is absolutely a game changer! I have lost 45 lb in 6 months and will continue until I lose another 30 lbs to be at my ideal weight. I recommend this to everyone who is struggling with weight loss. I do not, however, recommend you do this in coordination with taking Jardiance. For me, it was prescribed to help with additional weight loss, kind of like a catalyst, but it led me to cramping and some stroke-like symptoms, as in numbing of my hand and my left leg. You will need to drink an extreme amount of water, as in 2 gallons a day, if you do both together. I have since stopped taking the Jardiance. My life has changed drastically since I took the Mounjaro and highly recommend it to everyone who qualifies to take it! Good luck!"

"Have been injecting Mounjaro weekly for a month now and have lost 4 kg, but here is what I learned… 1. Make sure you're fully hydrated before injecting the recommended dosage of the first 2 weeks, needles being 2.5 ml, as it dehydrates you big time and most of the time is why you are feeling nauseated, but keep hydrated, drink up. Eg. Powerade or Hydralytes… 2. Inject in the top thigh as it is less nausea feelings than injecting in the tummy. 3. Your body automatically tells you that you are full after a small portion of dinner (saucer plate size) as breakfast I craved Vegemite on thin bread, so maybe I was lacking either salt or B12 levels down. Lunch I ate a small amount too, but have snacks 4 times a day, even one sugar lolly made me feel better."
