For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This should be taken off the market! Horrible side effects. Have used the egg type before and had no problems. Have horrible vaginal burning and discomfort. Taking Benadryl and ibuprofen this morning to help."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This product is horrible! Do not use, go to your doctor, I am not kidding! The burning and itching associated with the use of this product are unbearable! I'd rather have a YI untreated than use this again. I have had 3 YI in my 36 years and have always gone to my doctor. Almost immediately after inserting this product, I began to feel discomfort, not so bad, but as the night has gone on - this is awful. My vagina itches so badly that it's unbearable. I don't feel pain as some have reviewed, but the itching is literally insane! All I can hope is that this goes away soon. Do not use!!! You will regret!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This has been one of the worse decisions I’ve made. I had mild symptoms to start. I thought I’d try it to completely be clear of it since it’s only one day. I regret it so badly. I decided to look at reviews, yes after, because it’s so uncomfortable and itchy (but I don’t scratch, which makes it harder) and thought this isn’t normal because I’ve used others and they have worked. This caught me by surprise. I applied it around 11 PM last night, and it’s 11:00 AM right now, and I still feel discomfort, but thankfully it isn’t as bad, mostly it’s just throbbing. Don’t buy it, ladies, it’s not worth it at all."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I developed a yeast infection after being on antibiotics for a week because of strep throat. I used the Walgreens generic. I did not experience the unbearable burning/itching like some people mention. There was a slight increase in itch at first, but it wasn’t anything crazy. I will admit that I didn’t sleep very well because it was a little uncomfortable, and I felt like the medication would leak out if I moved. I didn’t feel better immediately when I woke up (8 hours after insertion), but I noticed that I felt a lot better about 12 hours after insertion. Overall, this product worked at clearing my yeast infection and had very minimal side effects/discomfort. It probably does make things slightly worse because the medication is so strong, but I felt a lot better after 12 hours. My yeast infection was also fairly mild, so maybe the burning sensation occurs when the medication is applied to a severe case with more irritation or lacerations."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I put this in about 9 PM last night before I read all y'all reviews, so I kinda got spooked, but I didn't experience any burning, itching, or discomfort. The gel did melt everywhere outside my vagina, which took away any itchiness from my vulva. I recommend sleeping with no panties so you can really air out, just be cautious not to stain anything. It's about 11 AM, and I can tell my YI is completely gone. I am going to shower and wipe all the melted gel off my outsides and let the rest of the medicine still inside me marinate throughout the day."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I had a different experience than others. I used Tioconazole 1, and after 15 minutes, it started to burn. Not too bad, but it’s definitely uncomfortable. After like an hour, the burning starts to go away, and you don’t feel your symptoms as much as before. I think it’s a good product for the most part!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have had several YIs before, have used the 7 and 3-day kits (active ingredient Miconazole) and have taken the Diflucan prescribed by a doctor. All four treatments gave some discomfort and itching. The 7 and 3-day kits and prescription took too long, and I would itch myself and cause even more discomfort and swelling to myself. I picked up the one-day Tioconazole (6.5%) for my most recent YI. The first few hours of application, the itching did worsen, however, I did not experience any burning. I found that reading a book and doing Sudoku kept my mind off the itching. Currently on the second day, and I only have a slight itch, 75% better than before I took the treatment and barely noticeable compared to the first few hours of treatment. The product does work, and while there is some discomfort, it beats waiting 3-7 days for relief."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I, of course, took this medicine without reading the reviews, and sure enough, I got the horrible side effects a lot of women are saying on here: extreme vaginal swelling and discomfort. I immediately squeezed as much of this out of my vagina as I could, took some ibuprofen, and iced my lady bits. Why is this medication even being sold if so many people are having a nightmare of an experience? Never again! I’m hoping to not have to go to quick care tomorrow with this embarrassing symptom. I’m hoping it will feel better in the morning, as this woke me up at 1 AM."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I started noticing/questioning symptoms on Sunday, bought medication on Tuesday. Applied before bed, after laying down, with no intention of getting back up. I did not experience any of the misery that the others are posting, but have experienced it with antifungal sprays on my feet. I can't help but wonder if there is a correlation with the progression of the infection, perhaps if there is any broken skin or not? I would absolutely use this medication again without hesitation, even if it were to cause me some discomfort. It is worth it to get my lady bits back in check."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Experienced burning and redness as a result of this medication. I don't understand why/how products like this that burn and irritate the user are over the counter yet Diflucan (fluconazole), which is an oral yeast infection medicine with no side effects, is prescription only. It is completely backward and makes women suffer and experience more discomfort and pain versus a painless pill. It's been 4 days since I took this medicine and I'm still feeling raw and uncomfortable."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I've taken this before, but for some reason this time I'm in pain. Burning is unbearable. I showered, inserted the oval, woke up 3 hours later in so much discomfort. I have never experienced this. Maybe a bad batch has gotten out, but this pain is just too much for me. Never, ever, never again. I'm not sexually active either, so I know it's just a YI, but I felt better before, way better."
