Tazarotene topical for Acne "This was awful. My skin would peel so badly and got to the point where my skin started getting red and itchy. It started to scab and got really painful. Tried to stick it out, but I can’t anymore. Too painful. It helped with the bumps I have on my forehead, but didn’t really help with the rest of my acne. Not worth it."

For Acne "I have struggled with acne, including cystic acne, since puberty. I am now 50, I still have moderate acne. Deeply embedded around my mouth/chin, blackheads, scars from the cystic acne, and always have several pimples. I have used everything over the years, prescription and OTC treatments. I have spent thousands of dollars on treatments. Nothing worked until now! I have been using Fabior for 2 weeks, but I already see a difference. No more blackheads at all. My scars and fine lines are faded. I still get pimples, but that's part of the process, pulling them out. They dry up quickly though, in 1 to 2 days. I started out using it every night. It burned, peeling and itching were out of control. I changed my face wash, gentle is the way to go. I also use a moisturizing lotion and have changed to every other day. The peeling and itching are less, and my skin is less red. Remember to use sunscreen every day and a hat when possible to protect yourself, you are very sensitive to the sun."

Tazarotene topical "I was prescribed this to lighten hyperpigmentation, and after only one use, following instructions to the letter, I had a severe enough reaction that I needed to see a doctor. Severe itching, redness, burning, inflammation, and bumps all over my face. Won't ever touch this stuff again."

For Acne "Dryness is a huge side effect. I couldn't tolerate the drug for more than 3 days. The itching, burning, dry skin, and rash were NOT worth its supposed benefits. Everyone is different, but I personally would not recommend it. With how painful it is, I'm actually surprised by the higher end rating. Maybe some people can tolerate it better than others."

Tazarotene topical for Acne "I've been using Tazorac since March 2012. My dermatologist put me on Aczone to use in the morning, and Tazorac in the evening. There were some burning and itching in the beginning, but it went away. During my office visits, I receive chemical peels also. Over a month, I've noticed the dark spots have lightened up and my skin is evened out. Now I'm getting my face back."
