Tacrolimus topical "I was given this by my dermatologist for my eczema. Was not told it would burn or that it had a black box for cancer. Said it was safe to use on eyelid eczema. Now I have the droopiest and swollen eyelids because of it. The areas where Protopic were used also have increased flakiness and are prone to breakdowns."

"If you want to know what it feels like to pour ghost pepper juice in your eyes while swimming in lava, then this ointment is for you! Within 10 mins of my first application, I instantly felt ill to my stomach. Now, cue hell’s fiery wrath. The most unbearable burning/stinging/itching all over me. I would rather lay my face on a hot burner than experience this ever again. Encore anyone? Vomiting and back pain joined the party. 3 hrs after applying this on my skin, and I feel, well, exactly the same. The doc who prescribed this volcano lube to me never informed me this would be an option. Guess he was having a bad day. Either way, everyone has different effects, but I assure you, after nearly 20 years of battling my chronic/severe eczema, I truly would rather suffer with that than wait for these horrific side effects to subside."

Tacrolimus topical "I'm in the UK and retired now, so all of my meds are free. I'd suffered with red, sore patches on my face for years and occasionally used steroid cream to alleviate things, knowing it was not the best thing to do. I was referred to a dermatologist at the hospital, and she put me on Protopic 0.1 to be used once a day for a week to see how I got on with it. Like other people have said, for a few days my face felt hot, but the results after 3 days were amazing! I now use the ointment for a couple of days if I get a flare-up, and it works like magic."

Tacrolimus topical "Protopic helped my wife in vitiligo treatment. She has been using 0.03% for face, and 0.1% for body, and it reduced vitiligo almost completely within several months, without any side effects."

"This is an amazing product for the treatment of eczema, though very expensive and hard to obtain in Australia. Has completely cleared my eczema, which is incredible, I can now be like everyone else."

Tacrolimus topical "This is a terrible product, the only way to heal from any skin condition is to heal your gut. I was on steroids and Protopic, and now I'm going through topical steroid withdrawal for 9 months."

"I just got this because my eczema has gotten bad on my feet. I still itch a little, but I just started using it. My doctor gave me this and I assumed it would work ASAP, but so far I'm 50/50 on it. I will let you know in a month the real results."
