Lokelma (sodium zirconium cyclosilicate) "I was hyperalkemic so my physician prescribed Lokelma. It was not a pleasant or successful treatment. First trying to drink the slurry the powder produced was was awful. It upset my stomach to the point that I vomited. I continued to try using Lokelma for approximately 10 days. Things didn’t get better so I stopped taking Lokelma and told the doctor I’d never take it again, and I haven’t."

"I tried this. I have stage 5 kidney disease. Not only did it reduce my potassium, it also reduced my PHO's creatinine and BUN! At least I think so. But instead of pooping a lot, I was peeing like crazy, so I reduced the amount I take."

Lokelma (sodium zirconium cyclosilicate) "I’ve taken Lokelma for one month, and it lowered my potassium from 5.9 to 3.8. No side effects that I’m aware of. I’ve tried severely restricting (500 mg daily) my potassium intake for years, and it didn’t help. After a month of 10 mg Lokelma, I’m a big fan! The powder is a bit hard to dissolve, but I find it has no taste at all. Kind of like chalky water. Thankful to God for a more normal life with Lokelma!"
