Sodium chloride nasal for Nasal Congestion "I bought the AYR Saline Nasal Gel on the recommendation of my pulmonary doctor. Almost immediately after using a little bit to coat the nasal interior, I experienced sneezing and burning of the interior nasal cavity. My nose started to run. I am so thankful, and I was able to blow most of this out. I tried it again tonight, and I had the same experience. It is now in the garbage. I went back to using organic pure sesame seed oil...."

Sodium chloride nasal for Nasal Congestion "I’ve been having very dry nasal passages, something I’ve never really experienced before, and my grandmother purchased the gel and another spray product from another brand. Upon using the gel, my nasal passages began to burn like crazy, and it did not stop for about 10 minutes. It should also be said that it didn’t really do the job either."

Sodium chloride nasal for Nasal Congestion "I just tried this, a pharmacist recommended it to me to keep my nose from drying out from using my oral inhaler. I often get bad nose bleeds. This stuff burns like crazy! I put just a tiny bit in the front part of each nostril. I felt like my nose was on FIRE. And the post-nasal drip that went down the back of my throat burned quite a bit too. After about 4 minutes, my nose feels better, but to be honest, I'm not sure it's because the stuff worked or because the burning stopped. Next time, if there is a next time, I'll try just putting a bit above my upper lip in front of my nostrils."

Sodium chloride nasal for Nasal Congestion "I had used it to try and protect my nose from irritation resulting from constantly blowing my stuffy and runny nose. The first application immediately started burning, way more than similar products have. I at first assumed it was because my nose was possibly already raw or irritated. But within the first two minutes, the pain became unbearable, and my nose was brighter than Rudolph’s. I washed it off and tried using cold water to ease the discomfort. Where I applied the gel started peeling, and even now, a full three days later, the area is still peeling and red."

Sodium chloride nasal for Nasal Congestion "It slightly cleared my congestion for a few minutes, then the congestion returned. My nose felt extremely dry for days after, to the point of burning, and it made my eyes ache. For me, the aftereffect of this product is not worth the few minutes of a clear nose. I boiled the tap water on a rolling boil for seven minutes and cooled it to tepid. I know what I did was correct."

Sodium chloride nasal for Nasal Congestion "I used this for a dry nose, but it made my nose burn, and then the following day I had a slight nosebleed and a burning in my nose. I notice the color was blue, and now the gel is a lighter shade of blue, but I still have the same problem. Stopped using it, going back to the ENT who prescribed this to me."

For Nasal Congestion "Started using about 36 hours ago and had some burning in one nostril almost immediately, but the overall benefit was good. Then, the headache started. So, even though I can breathe better, I can't handle the persistent headache. I will continue to look for something for my nose."

For Nasal Congestion "I have a bleeding crust that doesn't seem to go away. I tried this for the first time. Just a little amount on the end of my nostrils and on the inner side as well. I don't know what you guys are saying about a burn or drip for sore throats. Maybe you are applying too much or inhaling through your nose too hard, which would cause it to get way up in your sinus or whatever and lead to your throat. Just hack a loggie to get it out or I don't know what to tell you. But it seems to work for me, no problem."

Sodium chloride nasal for Nasal Congestion "The Ayr Saline Nasal Gel burns my nostrils so bad. Then the sneezing starts, and I end up having to blow my nose, which removes most of the product."

Sodium chloride nasal for Nasal Congestion "NOT JUST SALINE SOLUTION. Saline plus alcohol and other ingredients. This is what causes the burning nose."

Sodium chloride nasal for Nasal Congestion "I do not recommend the spray as it can burn. I use the gel instead. I put a small dab right inside my nose and rub it around my nostril. It clears congestion and helps me breathe."

Sodium chloride nasal for Nasal Congestion "I have used it, and after the fourth time using it, my nose was burning. I have thick crust in my nose. I can’t breathe out of one and am on oxygen. Bad combination."
