"I've suffered from constipation my whole life. For multiple reasons, being prescriptions, anxiety, and just plain scared to go, there are times I don't go a bit for almost 3 to 4 weeks. Scary, I know, but let me tell you, if you are reading this passage I'm writing, stop. Grab your Fleet Enema, take a deep breath, and give it to yourself. There is nothing to worry about, and this discomfort you have been feeling will all be gone a short time after administering the enema. It will not hurt, and you will feel better. Quit worrying!!! Hope this helps. I feel anyone who deals with this pain."

"I can’t go to the bathroom unless I use Fleet enemas. It’s made me codependent that my brain won’t signal to give me an urge. Either I use the enema or I will never get relief, and when I do use them, they put a lot of gas on my stomach, which makes me bloated and uncomfortable. No matter how hard I have tried to drink prune juice, apple juice, or take stool softeners, I am unable to evacuate. I can do 3 Fleet enemas before I feel better to start my day, but they leave me bloated and poop mucus. I wish I never started using them because now I can’t go to the bathroom on my own like a normal human being."

"I’ve been constipated for a week now due to the doctor prescribing Zofran. I tried everything: stool softeners, juice, milk of magnesia, and nothing was working. I saw Fleet in store and thought I’d give it a try. It is easy to use, has lubricant, but I had to get S/O to help due to I couldn’t hold it in for that long. In about 5 minutes, it started to work. It was a little painful (cramping) but nothing like other laxatives cause. I feel completely empty and better than ever!"

"Anxiety sometimes makes me constipated, but it was really bothering me this time. I was scared to use an enema... but uncomfortable enough to go for it, and I didn't make it through half the bottle before I had to go... seriously less than a minute. It was miraculous. I feel so much better and had no pain from it, only a little stomach cramping, but only a few seconds' worth. I guess I'll just save the other half, lol. Would definitely recommend. Oh... I also put coconut oil on the tip because I was nervous, haha, and that worked too."

"I had hernia repair surgery resulting in an ileus. The doctor prescribed Miralax and glycerin suppositories. Pain was off the charts. I was in the hospital for 3 weeks due to complications. Finally, I was given several enemas, and the relief was immediate. I just wonder why they made me wait so long."

"I was constipated for 5 days. I also have hemorrhoids. I couldn't go at all. I think I waited too long, by the time I tried using Colace, I went to CVS and for around 4 dollars, I got Fleet. Let me just say I felt very uncomfortable. It felt really weird. I was scared to use it. Even a minute later, I had to go. I didn't even use the whole bottle as directed. My advice: just take your time, it's well worth it."

"I used the Fleet Extra Strength Enema kit, and I feel like a new person! I felt the urge to go in just 4 minutes! However, the only downfall is the cramps that follow until your whole colon is cleansed. These cramps lasted about 7 minutes, and once everything was out of me, I felt amazing! Highly recommend the extra strength version!"

"I'm 7 days post-spinal surgery and had been provided stool softener after surgery to help movement. After 4 days, trying SennaCot, Dulcolax, beet root juice, plums, prunes, and milk of magnesia, I tried Fleet. Like the other reviews state, it isn't really uncomfortable, but just gets things moving. I recommend that you buy more than one, as I bought the twin pack and it was only a few dollars. First use, I only moved things enough that the hard bits came away. Then, there was some relief. Later that evening, I guess finally the other items I had taken pushed the rest through, so I had bad diarrhea on and off for a while. However, I felt 10 times better. The next day, I kept normal with a bowel movement, and again on day 7, I'm using the second bottle."

"Perfect. Worked extremely fast. I was backed up for about 6 days before using Fleet. I was scared to use it at first, but the lube on the tip made the experience as painless as it could be. I had relief in 5 minutes."

"Giving this a 5 out of 10 because it worked but ruined my entire day. While it claims to work in 15 min to an hour, that was not the case for me. It took about five hours for this to work for me, a good portion of which my stomach was cramping painfully. I was in and out of the toilet for three hours after that. Fortunately, this happened on a Sunday, so I didn’t have to worry about work, but I just felt sick, tired, and achy the whole day. Had this happened on a workday, I would’ve needed to take it off."

"I had complications after surgery to remove infected mesh after hernia repair. I was diagnosed with an ileus and given oral laxatives and glycerin suppositories, all to no avail. The trapped gas pains were excruciating. My nurse suggested a Fleet Enema to get things moving. I got relief within minutes. The enema was repeated, and I was completely pain-free. Wish I had been given an enema sooner."

"I experienced severe constipation from using Zofran in pregnancy. I was backed up for several days and unable to have a bowel movement. I went to the ER, and they asked me to try magnesium citrate, Fleet Enema, or senna laxative pills. I purchased the Fleet Enema. After 4 minutes of using the product, I had the urge to have a bowel movement. The liquid came out, and I continued to push, but the stool was too difficult to pass. I stayed in the toilet for half an hour trying, but eventually gave up. I went to sleep after that, feeling discouraged and thinking I would have to try something else the next morning. A few hours into my sleep, I suddenly felt mild stomach discomfort and leaking watery bowels. I went to the toilet, and everything came out quickly like diarrhea, although some of it was still hard but much easier to push than before. I was so relieved and comfortable after using this product. Highly recommend."

"OMG, this product is heaven-sent!!! Believe me! I was constipated to the point of literal tears for over a week. I tried Dulcolax, Miralax, Celus, and nothing, absolutely nothing. Then I saw Fleet, and I was skeptical, boy, was I wrong. Wow!!! It did start working after 5 minutes, it took me, though, about 15, I think, because I was backed up so much. Oh man, I was so, so, so happy. This is an amazing product. Who knew a product that actually does what it says it would do? About $40 of bad products, I'M FREE!!! 100X THANK YOU"

"I tried the enema again (Fleet), and it didn't work. I felt like I had to go, but I didn't have a bowel movement. The saline solution came right out again, and I'm still constipated; I'll have to go to the doctor's today to see if I can get an x-ray soon."

"So good that I went on the internet and wrote a review on a poop product. Works better than anything. Once a year, I get horribly painful sudden constipation, and this was the first time I had this product on hand. Usually, I'm in an hour of pain and anxiety, today, only two minutes of it!"

"Hasn't worked for me. I am an 87-year-old female in constant pain from constipation. I take laxatives and use Fleet Enema but to no joy. Tonight at the hospital, they are giving me Picolax. I am just praying it works. Here's hoping because this will be the third day of enemas."

"I am currently on a high-protein diet and went three days without having a bowel movement. On the fourth day, I tried to use the bathroom but still could not ease my constipation. Over the next two days, I experienced discomfort and tried to relieve it by eating berries, taking Senokot, and drinking 3 liters of water. On the sixth day, I attempted to use the bathroom again but was still scared. I then ordered Microlax, which arrived the next day. I was nervous about using the enema but eventually mustered the courage to do so. After walking around for 5 minutes, I was finally able to pass everything, and I felt much better. However, just to be cautious, I hovered around the toilet for another 30 minutes after having another massive bowel movement just two minutes later. Overall, I would rate this experience 5 stars."

"I have been struggling with constipation for the first time. It’s been a good five days without significant movement. I tried this Fleet Enema and I have a feeling that because I didn’t hold it in, it didn’t work. I only had a couple of pebbles come out, and now I’m worried about side effects, dehydration, and a potential impaction. I pushed the saline out immediately. But just stressing :)"

"Fleet enemas have always worked great for me. I can always tell when I need to go home and use a Fleet enema, so that I will feel so much better. I go home, insert the tip, and hold the solution in as long as I can, and then after going, I feel so much better!!!"

"I suffer from having IBS, and I get constipated a lot and suffer from it. Like others, I have either hard stool that won't come out or only little hard pebbles. I sometimes have to use my finger to break up the stool so I can get it out. Two days ago, I used a suppository to try to have a BM, it had been 5 days without one, and I started feeling sick with stomach cramps and nausea. The suppository I used didn't work. I was in so much pain the next day I used a Fleet Enema. The only thing I passed was the water. I took my Colace stool softener, that wasn't helping me anyway, but I was desperate. I knew that I would need to go to the ER the next day if I didn't have a BM. Well, 17 hours after I took the enema, I had a bad stomach ache, and I didn't stop pooping for 2 hours. OMG, I felt so much better. It cleaned me out, but why it took so long to work on me, I don't know. I was so sick the night I took the suppository, and nothing came out. I THANK GOD AND THE ENEMA I TOOK. I feel so much better."

"After a week of not having the urge to go, I knew it would be painful. Tried Fleet and waited about ten minutes to evacuate. It worked with some effort. I’ve also found that periodic constipation can be relieved with a shower wand enema. You can unscrew the handle part and screw on the wand while the shower is running. Just know that it takes only seconds to fill the colon. Best be ready by removing the drain grid also."

"Ok. I had been basically constipated for 2 weeks, only going a very little (a couple of pebbles at a time). Having lots of gas, and then OMG! Fecal incontinence. Had leaking sticky stool (very little), but it freaked me out. Contacted my doctor after taking Sorbitol 2x a day (due to opioid meds), tried Miralax, still nothing. The leaking bothered me more than the constipation, but was uncomfortable with the bloating and feeling full all the time. The doctor recommended I use the saline Fleet enema. I couldn’t hold it long at all, but it has relieved it somewhat. No leaking that sticky stool, so it is half a success. Will do a 2nd enema tomorrow and see if I can hold it longer and really clean things out. But I did get relief. I will keep Fleet enemas in the medicine cabinet from now on."

"When I get constipated, which is all the time, I have a Fleet Enema. I recommend this enema 100%, yes, honestly, 100%. If anyone is embarrassed, don't be. This is better than any tablets, you have my word."

"I have struggled with chronic constipation for years, unfortunately, ever since I was a child. Fleet enemas are a lifesaver for when I need some relief. They are easy to use, and for me, get most of the job done. I am rating it a 9/10 only because sometimes I still have some stool left inside me even after enema usage. However, I have problems with motility issues too, so I am pretty sure it is my body and not the enema causing that. One tip I have is to try and hold the enema in for as long as possible. I try for five minutes. When I started using enemas, I held in the solution for one minute and only initially expelled the clear fluid. The saline makes you feel like you really have to go, but the shorter you hold it in, the less stool will initially come out. There is some cramping for me when I try to hold it in for the 5-minute period, and it can be difficult, but it is what gives you the best results!"
