For Erectile Dysfunction "I’m 53 years old and in relatively good shape. I’ve been taking generic Viagra for about a year to help with the occasional erection issues. It works. I have the 100 mg pills that I break in half for a 50 mg dose. Always take the pill on an empty stomach, at least a solid 30-45 minutes before it’s time to get busy. It will not provide an instant hard-on, as you’ll need to be sexually aroused for it to work. It works great for me. Bigger and thicker, and my refractory period went from hours to about 15 minutes. It might just be me, but sometimes I think it’s still in my system 24 hours later. I get my pills online. SIDE EFFECTS: They are real. For me, it’s a rapid onset of stuffy sinuses (but not a runny nose), and a pretty bad headache in about 30 minutes. Left untreated, my headache would last for hours. So I always take a couple of Aleve at the same time I take the pill."

For Erectile Dysfunction "Bad experience with my wife of 40-odd years. The spark was gone. Tried Viagra a few years ago. Made me ill. Feeling sick. Bad headache. Didn't work, basically. New girlfriend, so I thought I'd try Sildenafil. Well, it really works! Take the pill, wait only minutes, and go. Lasts all night and on to the morning. Side effects - headache and a stuffy nose after a couple of hours. You can put up with that, though, eh? Try it!"

For Erectile Dysfunction "Started with 20 mg, within 30 minutes, I had hot flashes and was sweaty. I’m not sure if it was this or not, but I could tell my anxiety was up, and my throat felt tight. This went on for about 90 minutes, there would be no way I could even think about sex during this part. The next thing I found surprising: this sent me straight to the bathroom. I haven’t read anything about this, but it seemed like I had taken a laxative. About 2.5 hours in, things seemed to be subsiding, so I decided to start stimulation. I can say that I probably had one of the better erections in quite some time, but if I was with someone, I don’t know that we would both be 100% okay with it. I did my thing, and about an hour later, I was erect again. I did wake up with a slight headache, and I didn’t sleep the greatest throughout the night. The other thing I found odd: about 18 hours in, I started to have little pings in my chest. About 24 hours later now, I’m just super fatigued."

Sildenafil for Erectile Dysfunction "Used Viagra as an alternate after Cialis. Cialis at first provided repeated strong erections in a 24-hour period after years of severe ED. However, after 3 to 4 uses, the erections were too weak and too short-lived to sustain intercourse, so I switched to Viagra. At first, results were good. I had fewer erections, but they were longer lasting than Cialis and quite firm. However, this only lasted 2 or 3 uses before the same symptoms appeared as with Cialis: erections too weak and short-lived for intercourse. Also, moderate to severe headache, stuffiness, and fullness like a severe head cold."

For Erectile Dysfunction "Late fifties, though I could still get an erection, it could disappear at the drop of a hat. Maintaining it required a lot of focus. Spoke to my doctor, and he prescribed 50 mg sildenafil. At the local pharmacy, the cost was very high. I eventually found a legit-seeming U.S. online pharmacy. You fill out a form describing your symptoms and overall health, and they have a doctor on staff who will prescribe. They give you some input into dosage, so I chose 60 mg, which was close to what my doc had already prescribed. My 60 mg dose comes as three 20 mg tablets. For me, just one 20 mg tab works great. I occasionally take a second if I want to be super ready. So I get 3X the doses out of my script. I usually have no side effects, although I've noticed flushing and a headache once or twice - it's always been very mild. The dose takes 15 or 20 minutes to really kick in. Effects last up to 12 hours for me."

For Erectile Dysfunction "I'm a 59-year-old stage 2 prostate cancer survivor who finished my cancer treatment regimen in March 2023. Beginning January 2021, I was on leuprolide shots every 4 months and daily abiraterone with prednisone chaser, so my testosterone was completely shut off, including losing all interest in sex. Four months ago, I finally started noticing a small return of my libido, but my free testosterone levels are still far below the standard range. Two months ago, I began a new relationship with a woman: our first sexual contact was extremely nice, but I was unable to stay hard. She gently suggested looking into Viagra, which I happily did. My urologist agreed and prescribed 40 mg (two 20 mg pills) as needed. I 'test-drove' it at 20 mg, with marginal results. I tried the full dose 2 days ago on an empty stomach, and it worked like crazy! We both were very happy. A tiny bit of dizziness and a small headache the next day, but breakfast took care of that. If you need the boost, I recommend it 100%."

For Erectile Dysfunction "Was prescribed generic sildenafil by my Dr for ED. The drug worked slightly at first, still not enough to help achieve full erection. Drug has a very short life, only up to about 4 hours. A year later, the drug doesn't work at all anymore, regardless of dosage. Also, the side effects are not worth it anymore, severe headache, dehydration, and insomnia. I have an entire year supply that I'll be bringing to my Rx recycling program."

For Erectile Dysfunction "In my 50s with no steady sexual partner but was starting to have problems getting, and then if it happened, sustaining an erection when meeting guys. Doc prescribed 50 mg sildenafil. Significant improvement in sexual performance, an erection developed at the prospect of sex and stayed very hard as long as I needed, plus able to perform repeatedly, which was totally new for me. Some loss of sensitivity, but I found the side effects in terms of stuffy nose, headache, flushing, and severe indigestion quite difficult to cope with. I am hoping they will diminish with repeated use."

Sildenafil for Erectile Dysfunction "Other than an occasional headache, no significant side effects. Viagra works fairly well for me but just not consistently. I almost always get hard - REALLY hard... but the erection doesn't last if foreplay is extended. So by the time I'm ready to penetrate, it isn't always stiff enough. As a result, I feel pressured to rush through sex with my boyfriend. Also, the price is absurd. The drug companies sure know how to play the game to delay generics from getting on the market. I understand the need to appease shareholders, but there should be a better way than by gouging consumers."

For Sexual Dysfunction, SSRI Induced "In Oct 2017, I had a leg injury that required some stitches. They gave me a synthetic painkiller drug called Ultram and then additionally gave me another drug called Zofran for nausea while I was on 100 mg of Zoloft daily. Painkiller Ultram mixed with Zofran mixed with Zoloft created serotonin syndrome, which lasted damn near 12 weeks. Additionally, it gave me high blood pressure of 295 over 150 and hospitalized me. So now I'm kind of freaked out to take any type of pharmaceutical drug whatsoever, and I check everything that may affect the SSRI and cause that serotonin syndrome. Fortunately, that's not the case with Viagra, it appears that it's plenty safe to take an SSRI. I take about 25 mg, it kicks in about half an hour, lasts almost a full day off and on, and I get a slight headache, that's about it. Good luck and check all drug interactions..."

For Erectile Dysfunction "Just tried sildenafil this weekend. I’m a 40-year-old who has gone through rectal cancer. Although I can still get an erection, they weren’t as firm or long-lasting over the last couple of years as they used to be. Cut a 100 mg pill in half and decided to dissolve it under my tongue to encourage a quicker response. I was a bit skeptical as to how well it would work. I’m not anymore. Only half an hour after the pill dissolved, I could achieve an erection on demand without any physical stimulation. Just thinking of something did the trick. I’ll be honest, I can’t remember the last time just a thought got me fully hard and maintained my erection. So extremely happy with the results. I’ve also noticed the effects seem to remain into the next morning as I’ve woken up with morning wood that I was having problems getting rid of. Did notice a stuffy nose and slight headache, but nothing major at all."

"I started the 30 mg Viagra last evening for Raynaud's, which causes blood vessels in certain areas to be constricted. In my case, hands and feet. I am a female and had to wait nearly a week to get it approved by my insurance, even after my PCP stated it wasn't for ED. I had a severe headache about 20 minutes after, followed by GERD and muscle pain. The headache resolved in an hour. I went to sleep with really tender breasts that still hurt the next day. I felt a bit flushed all over and had color to my cheeks for about an hour. One dose was too soon to tell if it will work for my condition, but I do not think I will take it again."

For Erectile Dysfunction "I am 48 years old and diabetic. I used to be a stud in bed, then I settled down, got married, and started eating more. My blood sugars were up and down, so I was not able to get hard anymore, and my wife said my penis shrank! I get 100 mg T-shots on Tuesday and started taking Sildenafil 50 mg. So on a good day, when my blood sugar is stable, I have to take 2 pills because they take time to kick in. But when I get hard, we have great sex. Then a little bit later, ready to go again. But the bad thing: I get bad headaches, my heart races, my stomach hurts, and I have to run to the toilet. And when you're married and they're in the bathroom, you can't get in right away, it can be tragic."

For Erectile Dysfunction "Just took half a 100 mg about 2 hours ago, got very red eyes and a slight headache. Nothing a few aspirin got rid of. My woman started very slowly caressing me, and not long after, I got a semi erect. But then, after more intense foreplay, I was hard enough to have intercourse but not solid hard. So I'm hoping for more stiffness as the night goes on. That's why I'm checking the other users' experiences. But I'm happy for my semi because I've been out of action for 15 years. I just turned 50, so if more happens, it's a bonus. But I'm going to take the other half soon just in case. But very red eyes, I wouldn't recommend not telling your partner that you have taken it because you will have to come up with some excuse for looking like a vampire. Also, no alcohol intake."
