I'm only 48 but had been suffering occasional issues with not getting or keeping an erection, and it was becoming an issue. As any man knows... once you think too much about how important it is to get the erection, it's not going to stay or happen! Sildenafil for Sexual Dysfunction, SSRI Induced "Because it's VERY expensive and 25, 50, and 100 mg pills all cost the same, I cut 100 mg pills into 4 pieces, though not with total accuracy. 25 mg is enough for me. For me, it begins to take effect in about 30 minutes and is fully effective by about 40 minutes. The effect lasts for at least 2 hours, and I experience no side effects. I suppose if I wanted it to last longer, I could take another 25 mg since I'd still be at only 1/2 of the maximum recommended dosage, which is 100 mg. It gives me an extra hard erection. I don't use Viagra every time, though. There are pill cutters available, which make it easier to cut pills."

Sildenafil for Erectile Dysfunction "I'm 71 and have been using Viagra or sildenafil for about a year. It is a wonderful drug, but getting the dosage right is critical. I can still get an erection without help, but it had become a bit unreliable. I started off taking half a 50 mg tablet. It certainly worked, but I felt it was just a bit too much. I now cut the tablet into 4 and find a quarter of a tablet makes all the difference and barely gives me any side effects. The half-tablet dose was too much for me. It gave a very strong erection but reduced the sensations and gave me a slight headache. So I reckon it's worth experimenting to find the minimum dose you can get away with. (NB the low dose works better on a reasonably empty stomach)"

Sildenafil "This is a miracle drug. I have diabetes and have had troubles keeping an erection for a number of years. I started taking Viagra about a year ago and the results are fabulous. For Erectile Dysfunction "Tried sildenafil for the first time this weekend for ED. It has a tendency to make an outgoing personality not so much. It did not make me rock hard at 60 mg. I'm thinking it should have. The next day, I did 20 mg and then later that evening, 40 mg more. Each evening, I had trouble getting to sleep. The second evening, I had to get out of bed due to the side effects. Honestly, I really thought I might be dying. For Erectile Dysfunction "I'm 54 and was good in sex until 53, and later I saw because of work stress and other life stresses and big gaps in the sex made my erectile dysfunction, and I believe one more reason when I was taking some medicine to control my blood pressure, those medicines also affect my sex process. I decided to start Viagra (Sildenafil) 60 mg in June 2020, and it worked well. Within two hours, it started working, and that goes up to four hours. No major side effects. So far, each time I see a little sinus, and then it goes away in 12 to 18 hours, and maybe very minor headache the next morning. In one month, I completed 10 episodes, it worked great with two to three days' gaps. I am also focusing on natural stuff which helps, like goat milk with almonds and other nuts, and reducing work stresses and unnecessary life stresses as well. Sildenafil for Erectile Dysfunction "Yes, I achieved good erections after about 40 to 50 minutes and yes, I could repeat the experience a week or two later; however, the side effects drove me away from it. Side effects: Annoyance, blue-tinted vision lasting about 2 hours. First, migraine-like headaches. No conventional medicines would relieve the pain, sensitivity to light, nausea, and lethargy. The most disturbing was difficulty swallowing for about 3-4 hours. I ended up switching to 'Levitra'. Only a mild headache and some other minor effects for 2-3 hours. Not quite as good of an erection though (80% to 90% as good)."
