"I started on Wegovy in April 2023 with a weight of 271lbs. My current weight is now 233lbs and this weight loss is with minimum mobility. I started at the lowest dosage and am now on 2.4. I didn’t experience any symptoms until I reached 1.7, I felt nauseous and fatigued on the first day of injection but after that, I was fine. I definitely eat differently, I cut out the starches like potatoes and pasta which gave me that overly full feeling and I have never been a fan of snacks and sweets. I have a new love for fruits and veggies now though and I eat mainly protein and veggies and I feel like Wegovy helped me to live a healthier lifestyle when it comes to food choices. On occasion, I may get a craving for something a bit more hearty and treat myself but Wegovy has definitely helped me to lead a healthier lifestyle as I approach my 40s."

"I started Wegovy about a year and a half ago. It was good at the beginning. When I got to 1.7mg, it stopped working for me. My doctor then added phentermine. I started to lose a little more and went up to 2.4. Then I stopped losing any weight at all, for about 5 months. I have not stopped taking the medication at all. Even with the constant diet and exercise, I have gained 19 pounds back since I've been off of it for 2 months. I started at 333 and now I'm 297."

"I was prescribed Wegovy for weight loss purposes. I'm 5'11 and 225 pounds with a BMI of 31%, so I can be considered obese. I've been on it for one week and have lost 7 pounds. I'm starting with the lowest dosage (.25). First of all, the injection was completely painless (for me). I also inject Humira bi-weekly, so maybe I'm just used to it, but I was shocked to feel absolutely nothing. I questioned if I was doing it right because it was so painless. Do not let some testimonials scare you! I did a lot of research while waiting for the drug to come back into stock. 90% of what I read were complaints about vomiting, diarrhea, and some people getting so sick they had to stop taking it. Some of these reviews were written after only a week or two of using the drug. So far, my personal experience has been completely different from what I've read. That could change as I increase the dosage. As of right now, the only side effect I'm experiencing is a complete lack of appetite."

"I love it! Wegovy did what I needed it to do, it calmed my appetite. I had zero side effects. I lost twenty pounds in one month. I only have one problem, I can no longer get Wegovy in my needed dosage of 0.25 mg. I will patiently wait for the manufacture of Wegovy to catch up to the demand for their product because it works that well for me. Thank you for creating a product that has worked as advertised."

"I took Wegovy for a month. I didn't experience terrible side effects, but did have intermittent dizziness and constipation issues. I eat a plant-based diet, so it wasn't a big adjustment to stop eating unhealthy food. I decided to give up alcohol, incorporated daily walks, and went back to the gym. I lost 9 lbs, which is huge given that I am 59 years old. One of the biggest changes that I made was to slow down while eating and being mindful of when I had the urge to eat. It has worked well, and since my last shot 3 weeks ago, I have lost another 2 lbs. I have given myself a year to lose the weight I want to lose and will hit my goal with a 1-2 lb loss per week. My fear of having rebound weight come back after stopping the medication motivated me to use Wegovy as a jump start. I would say that it was effective."

"I started Wegovy in Jan 2023 after starting other weight loss rxs in Jan 2020. I lost a good amount of weight in 2020 but felt like I wasn't losing any more and kinda just stayed the same. I was feeling so much better about myself, but also a little disappointed because I wanted to lose more. Now, Sept 2023, I feel so good. I've experienced some of the side effects like nausea and vomiting, but that was because I would push myself to eat and drink more than my body could handle. Once I learned to listen to my body, those side effects stopped. I do not eat very healthy. I try, but I was never a fan of vegetables. My friends are most impressed knowing what a picky, childlike eater I am! I think if I ate healthier, I'd probably have lost more, but I honestly cannot complain. I haven't been this happy in a very long time! I recommend Wegovy to anyone that will listen!"

"Although I'm losing weight, the feeling of being hungry is still there. I did not have this when I was on Saxenda. So it does the work, but not that great. Also too pricey."

"Wegovy is working great! Very important to hydrate and have a lot of fiber. Also, control your portion size; you cannot eat large portions. I'm following a strict 1300 calorie lifestyle change. From June 17, 2023, to present (Sept 19, 2023), I've lost 30 lbs. The injections are simple and virtually painless. I'm currently on 1.7 and I have little to no side effects. I inject every Saturday night before I go to sleep. I read that taking medication before bed reduces nausea and for me, it has worked. The only side effect is that I have absolutely NO desire to drink alcohol. The best side effect ever! I've already stopped taking blood pressure medication, cholesterol medication has been reduced to the lowest dose, and my A1C is out of the pre-diabetic range and within normal limits, and I'm only halfway to my weight loss goal. All medication has been stopped or reduced by my physician after blood work. Very happy!"

"After trying Saxenda for a few months, I wasn't sure about Wegovy. Saxenda made me feel so sick I had to stop in the end, but so far so good on Wegovy. I think I could try the stronger one, but you have to do it by the book. But so far, I'm really pleased with it. Lost 4 lbs in the first week, 5 days."

"Wegovy is a great medication if you are looking for weight loss. However, I had some side effects that just made it impossible to take. Days of sickness and not being able to get out of bed. Fatigue, vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea, to name a few. This is why I am no longer taking this medication. I did lose weight, but I think it's because I just couldn't keep anything down."

"I have been on Wegovy for four months. My top weight was 200 lbs, and now I am down to 160 lbs. I have stomach issues, just mild heartburn a day after the shot, but also acid reflux. I will be going off it soon."

"I was on Wegovy for 6 months (I only stopped because of insurance coverage). I lost 60 lbs in that time frame. Side effects were minimal and included nausea, anhedonia, and fatigue. Typically, side effects were worse after I titrated to the next dose schedule and would fade within a few weeks. This medication finally cured my 'food noise' and has been incredible. Lots to come with GLPs and the treatment of overeating and obesity. I am not on Tirzepeptide, and it may even be a bit better than Wegovy."

"While I have had little to no side effects until I started 2.4, I have been somewhat pleased with the effects of Wegovy. I just started month 4 and have lost 16 pounds. While I was hoping for more, I must consider my age, being 61 and female. In addition, I haven't been terribly strict, and summer has been full of company and vacation, which certainly leads to additional food and drink calorie consumption. My portions and cravings are way less, however, for food, sweets, and alcohol. Strangely, some days I had so little side effects, I forgot I was on it. That usually comes toward the end of the week. I have always had a high tolerance for all medication, so maybe that is why. Sticking with it though and hoping to lose 40 more pounds. I can definitely feel a difference with the 2.4, so maybe this will be the kick. Hope so."

"Please do not let these reviews scare you like I almost did. I held off multiple weeks because of all these death-like reviews. Finally, when I did decide to just start—I hunkered down like the outside world was about to end. Did the world end? No. I was perfectly fine. Were there the occasional burp and heartburn? Yes. But nothing that wasn’t manageable. I’m over 14 weeks in now, and I barely have a side effect at all. My point—everyone’s body is different. Try it for yourself."

"I started taking Wegovy 2 weeks ago and just took my 3rd injection yesterday (start of week 3). I began on the max 2.4mg dosage after trying to obtain lower doses for nearly a year to no avail. I dropped from 260 lbs to 237 lbs in 2 weeks. The first 3 days at this dosage were absolute hell, which I expected. I vomited 4 or 5 different times over the first few days and felt drained and fatigued. I could not stomach any food whatsoever during the first 3 days and just sipped on a bit of water from time to time. However, after the 3rd day, I was 100% and back to normal in all ways, except my appetite. I hardly ever feel hungry and when I eat, I can typically only eat a small portion before feeling full. For example, 2 weeks in, I can only eat like a 3rd of a cheeseburger or a half of a salad. Another good byproduct is that I hardly drink anything alcoholic anymore (beer and wine). Just no craving for it. When I started week 2 and took my second injection, I was expecting to have"

"First, I wanted to say... I was TERRIFIED to start Wegovy because of all the negative reviews about side effects, but I convinced myself to focus on the positive reviews which outweighed the negative ones. I started Wegovy 3 weeks ago at 0.25 mg. I will be taking my 4th dose of 0.25 mg this week. I usually take it on Fridays around 9:30 pm so I can sleep off any side effects and then relax on the weekend. So far, I have experienced mild side effects on the second day after the first and second shot - nausea, light headache, a little dizziness, and dry mouth that lasted for maybe 1 to 2 hours. Side effects were manageable with Motrin/Tylenol and Pepto Bismol. I haven't had any major side effects. I weighed 210 when I started, and I weighed 199.5 this morning, so that's almost 11 pounds down in 3 weeks. I am happy I decided to not let the negative reviews discourage me from trying Wegovy. All I wanted to see was a weight under 200 pounds! I will start 0.5 mg in 2 weeks - will update again."

"I started Wegovy in 6/2023 and it was life-changing for me. I am in my mid-40s and losing weight is so difficult. This medication is easy to use and really curbs your appetite. I have lost 22 pounds in 3 months which is very good. I also do not crave 'junk food' anymore. I highly recommend this medication if you are on a weight loss journey."

"I am currently on day 6, so for the first week I'd say I have had some mild nausea, but it was manageable. I did, however, have a headache pretty much all week. As of right now, I don't have a headache. Some of the headache might have been due to the lack of caffeine. I have not cut it out completely yet, but I have cut way back on my portions and when I feel full, I stop no matter how much is left on my plate. As of right now, I am unofficially at a 5 lb loss. I won't actually record the number until my official weigh-in. I am looking forward to seeing where this takes me."

"I started on 5/23/23. I'm a 47-year-old female and my starting weight was 193. I am down 21 lbs with no diet or exercise change as of 8/23/23. The first month, I had nausea and significant heartburn, but pushed through it. After I moved to 1 mg, I stopped having the heartburn. I think my body just adjusted. I plan on moving up to the 2.4 mg in two weeks. So happy to be on this medication!"

"I have been on Wegovy since March. I get hungry, nothing like I was though. I had gastric bypass and after some years, regained my weight. Took Phentermine many years, that does work, but I also have high blood pressure. So I heard about this Wegovy and new people who went on it, and lost so much weight without trying. I was struggling with clothes not fitting again, looking and feeling awful about myself. I asked my doctor to put me on this, and it’s been life-changing. I’ve lost 36 lbs. I’m so happy my tight clothes are big now. It gave me the confidence I needed. Plus, it is helping me learn to eat cleaner which has been something I’ve been trying to do my whole life. Wegovy works :)"

"I am on the 2nd shot of the 1.0. I have lost 14.2 lbs. This drug so far has not decreased my urge to want to eat. However, I am not eating a lot. I have not had any side effects. I am not dieting, so I eat what I want. The weight loss to me is slow, however, I am maintaining my loss and not gaining."

"I have lost 15 pounds in 4 months. The nausea and belching are my worst side effects, but they have stopped once I reached 2.4 mg. The worst side effect is the loss of libido. I either don't have the urge or am not able to 'get there'. But I don't think about food all day long. I can eat healthy carbs and still lose weight. I have learned which foods cause my stomach to hurt and feel bloated. I just can't eat as much food. I have overeaten and binged eaten my whole life, and I never felt full when eating low carbs or low calories. Now I do. I hate the sexual side effects though."

"I have been taking Wegovy for 12 weeks. I am down 20 lbs. I am pretty consistently losing 1 to 1.5 lbs per week. I started with the beginning dose for the first month. After the first month, the dose was increased to the next level. My doctor requested an office visit after being on it for 2 months. I was down 12 lbs at that time. The only side effect I have noticed is nausea. And I cannot even pinpoint when it happens (i.e., before eating when I am most hungry? After eating? Lying down? It just seems random, but when it hits, it is pretty bad. I have started keeping peppermint oil with me as well as chewing peppermint gum. That helps a lot. Due to the nausea, my doctor opted to keep me at the same dose, rather than increasing it to the next level. So far, so good."
