"Good success in the first month at 0.25. 78 years old, male, good health. Started at 248 and now I'm at 228 exactly four weeks later. Coupled with a one-hour intensive hike every day, as well as a draconian (unsustainable) diet. I do this combo every few years and can generally bring my weight down to 210 with great effort. I'm hoping that with Wegovy I can keep the weight off. I'm a foodie who bakes, and I love SUGAR! So, a lot of this early weight loss was easy because I just eliminated all sweets. No more of my precious Mexican coke in ice-cold bottles, NYT cheesecake, home-baked cookies, and croissants!! Just water to drink (lots!) and two small meals a day. Nuts and a teaspoon of peanut butter to curb food desires. Again, not sustainable unless I can get to a Wegovy level which dampens my desire. No significant side effects so far, but I'm moving to 0.5 today. My GERD is gone, my knees feel better, and sleep apnea reduced."

"I started wegovy April 2023. I'm at 1.0 mg now. I have lost 30lbs along with exercise and watching my calories (1200 a day). The nausea is horrible, but I have to lose the weight for health reasons. I'm 5'1 and over 300lbs with bad asthma and CHF. Wegovy has helped me tremendously. I give it a 10."

"Day 3 on the lowest dose of Wegovy. I feel like my pain medication “hydrocodone” and ADHD medication, Adderall, are hardly working. I feel like I need to double my other medications because of this. Obviously, I’m not because they are both serious medications that I’ve been taking for a couple of years now. Cannot find any information on this issue anywhere."

"I am on my 3rd week of Wegovy. So far the only side effect I have noticed is fatigue. Seems to be worse in the morning but it's not a big deal at all. My kids keep me awake and busy. I lost 3 pounds in the first week and nothing in the second week. I just took my 3rd dose today and hoping to lose another 3+ pounds this week."

"I need to lose weight. I have lost 25 pounds in three months with this medication. Worst side effects I have experienced are occasional headache, constant tiredness, and I am cold in the afternoons. I’m on the 1.7 mg starting today."

"Wegovy is one of the best things that happened to me in the past 18 weeks. I was 254 lb. Started around Feb 16 on 0.25 mg for 12 weeks. In the first 2 weeks, I lost about 5 pounds. Then I got into remission for 3 weeks. Wegovy also helped me keep with Intermittent Fasting which I do 18 hours food free and then one meal a day. Around the 4th week, I also started going to Gym (1.5 hours walk 2.8 mph incline 8), but still in remission. After the remission finished then the results came. I was dropping 10 pounds per week. No alcohol too. No side effects! After 12 weeks doctor put me on 1 mg as there already was a shortage. So for 4 weeks. I went into remission because I broke my intermittent fast and had some alcohol. Dropped some pounds but not much because of remission. No side effects! Anyway, now remission is over so now in the past 2 weeks I am on 1.75 mg because of shortages of 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 0.75 mg, and 1 mg. Still no side effects! I have dropped this week 5 lbs alone. From 254lb now I am 216.6 lb. Amazing!"

"I have been on Wegovy now for 4 months and have lost 26 pounds. I am currently on the 1.7mg and I have had no nasty side effects. I have had more heartburn than I used to, and occasional stomach upset, but nothing that would make me stop taking the meds. It has been a slow loss, but it is a loss and I am very happy. I would love to lose 75-100 pounds and hopefully, this will continue to work and I will meet my goal. My start weight was 250 lbs, I am now at 224 lbs. My glucose levels have decreased and my A1C has also lowered. I have not been adding exercise, I feel if I started walking the weight would come off faster. My overall experience had been very satisfactory."

"5'8" F started at 241 lbs. The doctor had me on phentermine (half dose) while waiting for Wegovy to go through insurance prior to authorization. Went down to 219 lbs on the phen in 11 weeks, then discontinued that to start Wegovy 0.25mg. I just took my second injection, so I can describe my first week and shot experience. I had a mild headache for the first 24 hours after my first injection. Not bad enough to need an aspirin or anything, and I think I was over-analyzing my body looking for side effects. After the first injection, I thought I had a metallic taste in my mouth and now that I just took a second I can confirm it. Lasted for 12 hours the first time. I also am one of the rare people that taste metal after vaccines if that matters. I was extremely worried about the injection process itself. I'm glad I watched some youtube videos and knew what to do. It was easy and I didn't feel the needle. No cravings - I just have to space out my meals or my stomach feels uncomfortable. Down another 3 lbs. Go Wegovy Wednesdays!"

"I am a Type 2 Diabetic and need to lose weight. I started using Wegovy 8 weeks ago. It took a few days for the nausea to go away but it did as my body got acclimated to the medicine. It has curbed my appetite and I’m eating healthier. I’ve lost almost 19lbs, my A1C is lower, and I feel better daily. Now, I have to stop it because so many people are on it, it’s back ordered for months. I guess they weren’t prepared for how popular it would be."

"Started on 03/27/23 - 50/F, 5’6”, 238 lbs. On 0.25 mg I lost 6 lbs, on 0.50 mg I lost 10 lbs. Currently, I am on my third dosage of 1.0 mg and have lost 6 lbs. Works great given and is so easy to inject. This is just what I needed to boost my weight loss after gaining weight after MVA! Some SEs. No issues with 0.25 mg and slight nausea with the first dosage of 0.50 mg but only lasted the first night. Also after 6 months of no cycle, got it when started the first dosage of 0.50 mg and 1.0 mg with painful cramps but only lasted two days. Obviously eating less because I have a minimal desire to eat but I am making better choices when eating (lots of protein). Also, walking more within my physical limitations. Very grateful for this medication and insurance coverage! So far so great!!!"

"This drug has worked for me since day one, I have been on it for 6 months and have lost 40 pounds. Had a few gastrointestinal issues occasionally, but nothing too severe and easy to manage. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to lose weight."

"I'm currently in my 5th week. Just took the .5mg two days ago. Only side effects are occasional loose bowel movements, and I struggle to sleep well the night after a shot. I'm having some weird dreams. With that being said, this stuff is working! I can't eat what I would have considered a full meal 5 weeks ago. I eat maybe a fist size of food and feel very full. Can't even eat a whole bowl of soup. Weighed myself after the first 4 weeks and I had lost 8lbs. I don't feel nearly as bloated as I used to constantly feel from over eating. I hope my insurance will cover this for as long as possible!"

"Just started this new medication and I’m on my second injection of the .25 mg. The side effects I have had are slight abdominal pain, acid reflux, nausea, and tiredness. I am 5’8 and was 244.5 lbs. To date I am now 239 lbs - I’ve lost 6 lbs since 5-21-23. I weigh in every Sunday to stay on track of my weight and what it is. The side effects are mild and I am going to stick with it because like so many others I’m tired of being TIRED … the weight has to go and I encourage you try this."

"Wegovy is doing an excellent job at suppressing my appetite, and I haven't experienced the side effects. I take my injections on Wednesdays and have noticed that my appetite starts to return on Tuesdays, so taking it every week on schedule is important. My weight loss is very gradual (1-2 lbs per week). I'm not on a restrictive diet, I eat what I want; I just want to eat less now."

"I started approx. 3/29 and will begin my third step up to 1 mg this week. I have lost 23 lbs in 8 weeks. Very happy about that. My appetite is reduced. I can sometimes skip dinner because, after a light lunch and breakfast, I am not hungry. I have experienced fatigue, nausea, and constipation. However, if I eat something like an apple with peanut butter that helps with the constipation. So far these side effects are not bad enough for me to discontinue. I would like to feel better, but I am hoping it will improve. Fatigue is the worst for me because I also have another autoimmune disease that causes extreme tiredness. I am taking a multivitamin and see my doctor in a week and I will discuss negative side effects. Right now the benefits of losing weight are worth it."

"This is my 4th week on the injection. I don't have a scale yet but my pants don't feel tight. I do feel nauseated but have not thrown up. I do get full before I am finished with my plate. So far I like it."

"I love Wegovy, in 2 1/2 months I have lost 26 lbs and counting. I take my shots every Friday morning just in case I started having side effects, so far I have had none at all. I started 1mg this morning and I was sort of nervous but nothing, other than my appetite was suppressed and I have to make myself eat. I currently have a defibrillator/pacemaker and was borderline Diabetic. I'm hoping one day my BP will become normal and all numbers are arranged. Thanks, Wegovy!"

"I am finishing my 8th week on Wegovy. I have lost 17.1 pounds and feel amazing. I was afraid to start because of the side effects, but so far, I have been lucky and haven't had them. The best thing about Wegovy is the fact that my mind is no longer full of obsessive thoughts about food. I have lost weight a million times, but this is the first time I am aware that I am NOT thinking about food all the time. I eat really reasonable portions of food and am satisfied. No desire for extra food or snacks. It is absolutely a miracle."

"So far, after 4 months, this has helped boost weight loss. At 57, I’ve been battling with the slowest metabolism on earth! It didn’t matter what I ate, when, how, how much, nothing. I started an exercise program that I promised myself I would stick with for a minimum of 2 months and I did it like an adult. Meaning I didn't work out for 3 hours my first time. After 4 months, I’ve lost 50 lbs, again, I added exercise prior to starting Wegovy because I had both knees replaced. I will have nothing else replaced due to being overweight. I, personally, have had NO side effects except I’m not hungry at all. But this allows me to make better choices. Best of luck to all!"

"I have been on Wegovy for almost 7 weeks and have lost over 22 lbs. From the moment I took the first injection, the food noise was gone. At times, it feels like progress is slow, but in truth, the progress has been steady. I have not started dieting or exercising, I am focusing on eating healthier and listening to my body for signs that I am full. I have heard of bad side effects, though I personally have not experienced any. Prior to this medication, I have lost, gained, and relost 50-100 lbs over and over again."

"I am very happy with Wegovy. I started at 298lbs. After 1 month on lowest dose , I have lost 14lbs. I am on the 2 week of the next dosage. Loss seems slower so I am adding exercise. I did not exercise the first month. I did mess up my first injection and wasted a pen. So I really only used 3 pens the first month. Now it is super easy. I really only felt nauseous once or twice. It passed quickly without other medicine. I can’t eat a full meal any more and I have increased my water intake. I am happy so far and can’t wait to see how much more I lose by the top dose. ( about 3 months ) I am 60 with arthritis in my hips and knees and I'm only 5’3”. The 14lbs that I have lost seems to have helped my hips a little. Hopefully more loss will help knees. I only weigh myself when I change doses so that I don’t get discouraged. Also I had to get pre authorization from my insurance before I could get it."
