For Restless Legs Syndrome "I have suffered with restless legs syndrome for years. Tried Requip, and it made me horribly sick to my stomach within 30 minutes after taking it. Then tried Mirapex and still had major symptoms. Then came NEUPRO! WOW! I could live again! It has changed my quality of life extremely! But the patch doesn't stay on well, so I use paper tape to keep them on the whole 24 hrs. Was able to get a reduced payment on medicines for $10.00 a month for 12 months for a 30-day supply. Insurance would not cover it."

For Parkinson's Disease "I have been on the patch for about 6 months. It has really helped a lot. I have not been able to take any oral medications because they make me very nauseous. I can't wait till a higher dose is approved in the US. Carole."

For Restless Legs Syndrome "I have suffered with restless leg syndrome for at least 20 years. It got way worse after two pregnancies. I've tried oral medications, which make me incredibly nauseous. Finally, one doctor asked about the patch. I said, there's a patch?!? It has been a lifesaver. I started on 1 mg but ended up moving to 2 mg. I put it on at 4:00 p.m. and take it off the next day at 4 p.m. I also found taking magnesium glycinate a massive help. It still rears up occasionally, maybe once a week, but I will take that over every night and occasionally during the day. I get it in my legs but also in my arms, particularly the elbow, feeling that lightning bolt feeling. I wouldn't wish this on anybody."
