Azo-Standard (phenazopyridine) "This medicine has helped me a number of times. I frequently get urinary tract infections and this makes me capable to work and do pretty much anything other than lay in pain. My only problem is that I wish there was a way to know when it's wearing off. Sometimes it lasts longer than others."

For Interstitial Cystitis "I keep AZO on hand for IC flares that started years ago. I always eat a bite before taking and drink lots of bottled water as always. Caffeine, decaf coffee/tea, pineapple, apples, msg, artificial sweetners, chocolate, soy, and tap water are my triggers. Azo saves me when I cheat or unknowingly eat someone else's cooking."

Pyridium (phenazopyridine) for Dysuria "As everyone knows kidney stones are very painful and very uncomfortable. My doctor prescribed me this medication to help to ease the pain. And it seriously works. I do not like taking pain medication, so I was pleased when I took this and it actually worked."

For Interstitial Cystitis "I wish I had known about this medicine sooner! I have had IC all my adult life and as I approach 60 I’ve noticed that is has ramped up in the last year. I do not understand why health articles on IC and UTI’s do not recommend this product! It has helped so much and works quickly. I too will always have this on hand. The regular AZO where you can basically take cranberry juice through a pill, has now become a part of my daily regimen."

Pyridium (phenazopyridine) for Interstitial Cystitis "I suffered for years for what I thought was a UTI. I have had it all Pentosan, DSMO instillations that made you smell like alfalfa, bladder distention, and Botox. This is the only medication that gives me a moment of peace. I am up 9 or 10 times every night to urinate because I cannot stand one drop of urine in my bladder as it burns. When I use Pyridium I am only up 3 times. I just wish I could use it daily."

Azo-Standard (phenazopyridine) for Interstitial Cystitis "I have gotten pretty good at avoiding trigger foods and drinks, but I still experience IC flare ups every couple of months. When I do get flare ups, they are pretty horrendous. AZO does not completely take the discomfort and pain away for a severe flare up, but I can function enough to not have to put my daily life on hold. It helps enough for me to be able to sleep, and drive in the car for much longer than a short 20 minutes. When I first got diagnosed, I was experiencing much milder flare up for extended periods of time- during those mild to moderate flare ups, AZO just about completely masked my symptoms. Orange urine is a very small price to pay for the amount times these pills have saved me!"

For Dysuria "Took the medicine last night for the first time. Didn't notice any changes, except that it made me sleepy. This morning I awoke to find that I had a major headache, terrible stomach cramps, all-over body ache and confusion. I would not recommend this product, as it also gave me really weird dreams."

For Dysuria "This didn't make a difference in my symptoms at all. None of my discomfort was relieved. My urine did turn very orange though! I also didn't have any negative reactions to this drug. It was like it didn't really affect me at all. It also cost me nearly $40, which is a lot for something that didn't work."

For Dysuria "Bought azo and it didn't work for me AT ALL. If anything it made it worse! It still burns when I pee and it's really painful and uncomfortable. The only difference this med made was changing the color of my urine to a dark orange looking color."

For Dysuria "I loooooove thiiiis!!! It makes my bladder feel completely numb !!! I was in sooo much pain I felt like I needed to pee every second. I had a UTI from using a feminine wash... which is sooo bad!!! My bladder hurts when I stand, lay, sit, or move around. I felt like I was DYING! Until I took the pill from over the counter which costed me $7 and some cents!! Pretty cheap you get 12 pills and you take 2-3 a day. It turned my pee neon orange and it smelt bad.. yuck! Overall it works super good 100% pain reliever !!! But the only cons is that it makes my inner vagina where the discharge is located super itchy... I recommend washing your vaginal area and the inside every 3-4 hours with just water!"

Preferred Maximum Strength Urinary Pain Relief (phenazopyridine) for Dysuria "I have been taking the maximum strength 2-3 times a day for approximately 6 months now and have never had any side effects. It has been so wonderful not feeling the pain in my bladder from the tube that sits in there. (I have a Permanent Suprapubic Catheter )"

For Dysuria "Was feeling awful during class, ran pharmacy on my free hour and bought some Azo the Urinary pain relief. Took it in the parking lot and drank some water. Right away it started working and my discomfort was gone. Only side effect was that my pee was a much darker color than normal but once the medicine was out of my body it went back to normal. I strongly recommend this to anyone who has frequent UTIs or to even have at home for an emergency"

Uricalm (phenazopyridine) for Dysuria "This product, in just minutes (less than an hour) nulled the intense, acute pain and allowed me to relax. The pain was a 9 on a 10-scale. The UTI was due to severe dehydration leading to acute renal failure as I discovered 2 days later. Yes, the urine takes the color of the pills but none of my underwear retained the temporary stains of the product. I can't image any quicker help especially going to the ER over this. You usually wait for hours as I did in the ER. But at least I had taken this medicine so I wasn't in misery. I'd highly recommend it without any reservations whatsoever."

For Dysuria "I used this when I was passing a kidney stone because it was originally diagnosed as a UTI. It did help a great deal in the beginning. Not so much at the end when the stone was stuck at the bottom of the ureter but then again, why would it? It’s not for that. Vicodin is for that. I ended up getting surgery to remove the stone after an agonizing 5 weeks of trying to pass it. They put in a urethral stent for 2 weeks and this product saved me. With it I could pee once every 30 min or so. Without it I felt the need nearly constantly. Sometimes I’d even pee, stand up and feel the need to pee again before I could even walk out of the stall So I mean it that it saved me. I was able to work."

For Dysuria "If you're experiencing pain during urination caused by a UTI, I recommend Uricalm Max! Works almost instantly. Just make sure to wear panty liners while using this medication. It will turn your urine bright orange and will stain anything it comes into contact with."

Azo-Standard (phenazopyridine) "I was experiencing a UTI maybe every 8 to 12 months because of a fallen bladder, I have to be very careful. And I got on the urinary tract Health one that helps cleanse and protect. They're easy to take they don't bother me at all but I read on the internet where this particular one could possibly cause a calcification which could cause kidney stones. I do have smaller stones but I don't want to aggravate this situation . Has anybody had this problem?"

Azo Urinary Pain Relief (phenazopyridine) for Dysuria "I have been taking this product for a day and I feel nauseous all the time. I threw up twice because of it, I would not recommend it. I wasn’t feeling like this before I started taking Azo, and I know I threw up because of it because my vomit was orange just like my pee."

For Dysuria "Well, let me tell you the bad news. Everything taste different. I ate a piece of cake and quickly spit it out. I'm itchy :/ and everything is orange.....everything. But I had severe kidney pain and it vanished over night. I took my medicine immediately after eating and did not notice any nausea. There's a slight itching in that "area," but that's common with a UTI. Hope this helps!"

For Interstitial Cystitis "I have severe IC. I have Botox and a hydrodistention every 5 months out-patiently for the disabling chronic pain associated with it. I take this as a prescription every single day. I have some in my purse, and never go anywhere without it. IC is a terrible condition that sometimes take years to diagnose. I have to catheter myself to use the bathroom. I also keep a heating pad with me at all times. But, this medication saves my life and allows me not to be bedridden. IC has changed my life. If you have googled, “IC pain relief”, then your life has changed too. Keep this medication with you and it will be the single fastest way for relief. Also, do take it with food, and if you wear white underwear, and start wearing white underwear, Bleach will take out the stains this causes."

For Dysuria "My husband went to the ER a few days ago due to painful urination and bleeding. No sign of infection yet nor of stones, but traces of blood in the urine...they gave him Uristat to help with the pain. He says it is helping some with the pain, but the side effects are not good. He is having awful nausea and headaches and can barely stay awake after taking it. Been going to bed at 7pm. Just very miserable. Thankfully, it was only to be taken for three days. Hoping his symptoms ease tomorrow. I don't think he will jump at the chance to take this drug again."

Pyridium (phenazopyridine) "I had a UTI with intense burning and urgency. I took my first Pyridium pill, and it took about 2 hours to kick in on the first dose, but once it kicked in, it did relieve the burning and urgency! It was a miracle for me to be able to relax, rest, and sleep with this medicine! It also gives lasting relief for a long time, which was nice. It turned my urine neon orange, and it did leak onto my underwear and shorts; however, the stains came out in the wash! I did experience a nasty headache on the medicine, which was the one negative. It was nice to have a miracle of relief, though, from the intense burning and urgency! It does what it's intended for!!"
