"I'm a 42-year-old male with cystic fibrosis. Survived until 38 with no medication but constant diarrhea. Could not tolerate fatty foods or alcohol - made me very nauseous and big weight swings. Creon has stopped all this completely, and life is much happier and healthier. The little Creon carry pack makes taking Creon 25,000 with meals easy. Very happy."

"Out of all the synthetic pancreatic enzymes I have taken, Creon 20 is the most helpful so far, but I find it's best just to not eat fat. Also, a normal person needs only 30 calories of fat a day, so if you have cystic fibrosis, keep this in mind."

"Creon has helped my little three-year-old cousin. She was born with cystic fibrosis, and she doesn't understand what it can and what it is doing to her! She is a healthy little girl that is going to survive this birth defect!"

"Was given this med due to chronic diarrhea. PCP wanted to see if it would help with it. The same night I took it, I started having horrible mid to upper back pain, then pain along the left side that went into the abdomen. I went to the ER and told them about the meds, and they ran tests and were unsure. I got labs before I left that showed an infection in the blood, so now being treated for this rare infection with high-dose antibiotics. Make sure to get labs for this since the virus can be overlooked if they're not familiar with Creon."

"I've taken Zenpep for most of my life. I take 5 caps with meals and snacks because I have fat in every meal. It works great, and the only time I've had an issue is if I had an extra fatty meal and didn't take an additional capsule. I recommend Zenpep to anyone with CF."

"I have cystic fibrosis and turned 60 a few months back. I have survived a double lung transplant, a kidney transplant, a number of bowel obstruction surgeries, a hematoma, and heart surgery for my lung adhering to the heart. I have been taking Pancrease for as long as I can remember. I have not had a bowel obstruction surgery since I’ve had my lung transplant in 2010. However, how well can Pancrease be working for me, considering I had so many obstructions? Maybe it is time that I try one of the other enzymes like Creon or ZenPep. Has anyone tried the three at different periods of their lives and picked one that worked the best out of the three?"

"I've used Creon all my life (I'm 28), and changed to Creon 25,000 about 10 years ago, which meant I didn't need to take as many tablets for my cystic fibrosis."
