Norflex (orphenadrine) for Muscle Spasm "I was prescribed 2 100 mg tablets twice a day for muscle spasms. This is the worst experience I have ever had. Only took 2 in the morning and 1 in the evening. I was up for 3 days straight, jittery, agitated, mildly confused, and spaced out. I had no pain but could not function a normal life on Norflex. I am 120 pounds."

Norflex (orphenadrine) for Muscle Spasm "Taking this medication was totally not for me. I have suffered anxiety all my life, but it’s controlled on medication, but when I was prescribed this, my anxiety was next level. I’ve never felt so horrible in all my life. I was irritable, nauseous, fidgety, felt like constant panic, tense, and didn’t help my condition at all. Obviously, everyone is different, but it’s not for me and I will never take this again."

Norflex (orphenadrine) for Muscle Spasm "I have had tight neck and shoulder muscles with cervicogenic headaches for 25 years, along with arthritis in my neck, and have tried everything to ease the pain. I saw a specialist who gave me Norflex. I started on 1/2 tablet (50 mg) once a day for 7 days, and my neck pain reduced dramatically, and I haven’t had any headaches. I then increased the dose to 1 tablet (100 mg) as recommended by my doctor. After the 3rd day, I had a massive panic attack that lasted about half a day. I couldn’t stop shaking and had trouble catching my breath. I felt anxious and agitated. It was very scary, and I ended up in the emergency room for a few hours. I have gone back to the 1/2 tablet, and hopefully my body will adjust to the medication over time, as it’s the only thing that has helped my condition."
